System version 45.4.13? - Motorola Photon 4G

I randomly received and update on my phone. Didn't manually try to update. It just randomly did it, and it changed to the following.
Anyone else get anything similar?

Man, I hope you weren't unlocked before...

That's the weird part. I'm unlocked, just running stock.
Didn't lose my root or anything.
Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2

curious but how do you know you're still unlocked?
I didn't figure it out until I went to backup and restore, and the bootloader told me to bugger off.

Still shows unlocked at the top corner, when I turn my phone back on

You mean you' have stock 4.5.1A-1_SUN-254_13 but the bootloader is still unlocked. You may want to have a factory reset default backup files store somewhere from CWM. Lot of people will want those file include me. I have a unlocked bootloader and want stock 4.5.1A-1_SUN-254_13, but that will permanently lock my bootloader.

Data disconnecting

Okay I know someone has probably asked this but I can't find my situation anywhere. I did s-off then ran the gb firmware ruu and no every couple hours when my screen is off ill turn my phone back on and see that my WiFi and data say on in the toggles but also say disconnected. I have to then turn the toggles off and back on to fix it.
I'm assuming this is s-off related. Do I just run factory reset and then run the ruu again?

What Rom are you on? Are you on .11 firmware or the leaked .22 firmware?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
Do you have any app killers or juice defender running?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA
I had the ics leak then after s-off I an the gb ruu. I'm running newts xxx with no apps installed other than what's already on the Rom. What is weird is that the toggles say on but to the left it says disconnected. Switching it off then on fixes it. I just don't know why it would be disconnecting. I know there were radio issues with people flashing radios but I ran a full ruu
Have you tryed to reflash or okay with a different From?

Happened on newts and rezrom s4

Dunno I never had that problem on newts s4 rom. Hell just PM him I bet he would not mind.

I'll try it tonight. Maybe flashing the stock recovery first is my problem. I mean the problem is bearable because it comes right back on if I need it.

I've been having a hard time with ICS, S-Off and 4G dropping in and out. Not sure whats going on with it yet..
No luck. I flashed the stock recovery then the ruu and did the clear storage thing. My mobile data still will be on and after a while the icon goes away completely ( no 4g,3g, or 1x). I go to settings and it is marked as on. I then have to turn it off and back on to restore the connection till it happens again.

I was in the same boat as you. Check out this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1469246
You can check the first and last post in that. The way I got around it was by activating my sim in another rezound and then swapping back into my original and it all of a sudden worked. Dont really know why, but i know another person got it working that way too.

All roms rebooting after flashing juopunut hboot.

its not netwoirk related back is off sim is out all roms are boot looping
What version of hboot/firmware?
Are you going for ICS or GB?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
I'm on the hboot junoput bear installs and should be on ice firmware
I'd say re do the ruu

I'm on the one that says junopunutbear at the top that control bear installs after s off, the phone is doing random reboots every twenty mins or so but ALWAYS reboots if I open the phone app and press ANY NUMBER. Or # hand *how can I run the ota ruu on a unlocked s off phone ?

There are two different ICS JB hboots.
If you are S-Off, make a nandroid, then flash this in hboot:

Then re-flash the JB hboot if you need the fastboot commands.

ok new update the 'random reboots' were people trying to call me, Also every time the phone reboots for a moment it says please insert a sim card to use thjis phone, i went to Verizon and had my sim replaced and its still doing it, the Verizon guy noticed my phone was rooted and suggest i try flashing the latest ruu i cant find, so im doing that now
When i reinserted the old sim card the first time i put it 9n backwards turned the phone on and got the 'insert simcard' message so i pressed harder thinking it wasnt in all the way, is it possible i damaged something?
Your problem sounds like you have mismatched hboot and firmware

I think you're right, op, you must flash the correct jbear hboot for ICS not gb. The are different versions for each

Ok so I'm pretty positive I broke something in the sim card area as it kicks in and out...

Did you try the PH98IMG I posted?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
Yes I did and it work but every now and then the insert sim message flashes
Alright apparently one of the post i thought i posted last night did not post.. flashing the newest ruu fixed all the reboot problems, only problem now 9s it still sometimes flashes insert sim, so i think its warenty time i hope unlocking the boot loader wont make returning the phone not a option.
so stock recovery app is the same as factory reset.. heh who knew, lol,...
I take it a new SIM didn't help.

Help activation rooted soff rezound.

I have a rooted s-off rezound running cleanRom that I sold to a friend. The problem is that it won't activate. She got a new sim card but it just sits at the activations screen. Any ideas of how to fix. Thanks.

If it's s off worst case scenario flash latest official ruu. Take to store. Then just unlock and flash recovery later.
But yeah, if you didn't activate the sim via Verizon wireless online its not happening
I had the same issue. I did have to runn the ruu. Make sure to s-on first
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
Be sure you're SIM is seated. A poor connection can give you grief. Remove the SIM and reinstall it. I had the exact same issue. Once I reseated the SIM, mine activated right away. Give it about 3-5 minutes. The network load could cause activation to take a few minutes according to the employees at the store.
Hope this works for you. Good luck!

Triangle away for mj7?

Can anyone tell me if triangle away works with galaxy s4 mj7 rooted? Too scared to take chances so far sunce with my last s4....
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I have used it, but it doesn't get rid of the 'Samsung custom' bootscreen with the unlocked padlock picture on it. Well, it does until I reboot again and then it's back. If I reboot yet again, it's gone. If I reboot again, it's back. I haven't been able to figure it out yet. But I haven't had any bad side effects from using it, if that's what you mean...
K just wondering if it would brick my phone...

I've used 3.0 and it made the custom lock go away, and also un-rooted my phone. then I rooted it again and ran triangle away and it seems to stay Samsung now.
I'm being very careful since for sch-I545 it says you need an unlocked boot loader and mj7 has a locked bootloader
