Hi
I have just changed to MIUI ROM, and it is working great. I do however miss a feature from stock Samsung ROM. It is the possibility to make an own pattern for vibration level.
Does anyone know any app or mod that can help with this?

Anyone who knows about this? The vibration level on MIUI is not as good as the original SGIII Stock ROM (after I modified it with the built in modifier).

I think you should try it.
But seriously, obviously it should. Seeing as how all of our current ROMs are directly/indirectly from I9000.
Change kernel/modem/key layout and should be good.
Hoping Der has his own rom coming out soon 4.2
P.S. this is the general section, don't ask questions here or i will find you and shove your vibrant up your ass

Yes it work , but because there is no 4.2 kernel for the vibrant you may encounter some minor problems for me l had audio, WiFi and keys layout I got WiFi working fine by toggling airplane mode and Bluetooth and reboot , everything else work fine the ROM is smooth and fast as cm10 . but to flash the ROM you may need to flash a i9000 kernel reboot into recovery and them flash the ROM to avoid status 9 or 7 there is a i9000 kernel you can used in the i9000 4.2 section page 34 # 333 for audio i download soundabout from the market.

they are ported ROMs so it should work
Hey guys
I very, very like the idea of new Android 4.2 lockscreen with widgets, but I want it on my s3, too.
So ist anyone around who knows a mod that adds the lockscreen to this device (running wanamrom), or anyone who could make such a mod?
Pls.

Any custom ROM that is based on Android 4.2.1. Your current list is CM10.1, SlimBean, task650's AOKP, AOKP, Illusion, and LiquidSmooth. Jellybam will be updating sometime today for the I9300, hopefully soon for the other SIII variants (d2att, d2tmo, etc.). I have tried all of them so far except for Jellybam on my AT&T SIII, and CM10.1 nightlies were working the best for me, but the rest give you some more options since they are AOKP-based.
Good luck

Yep i had jellybam but it has a lock screen bug cannot wake up again after locked the problem is I don't want to loose s3 features like touchwiz, multi window amd others

You tried the Jellybam for I9300? He got that out fast
Just bear in mind that the only version so far of android to natively support widgets on the lock screen is jellybean 4.2.1.

Widgets aren't supported on TouchWiz since the S3 hadn't updated to 4.2.1 yet. If you want your ToucjWiz and stuff, check out an app called WidgetLocker.

Jellybam nightly for s3 already includes the new lockscreen with widgets and new quick settings and all the stuff but well it has that lockscreen lag that makes it impossible to use it probably
Edit: it's the thing that i want the new Android stuff always but don't like the original android looking as on nexus but different from many others I love the s3 touchwiz
Unfortunately the won't ever be stuff from the premium suite on aosp or aokp roms, so i can't wait for 4.2 for s3 ^^

What exactly do you mean by lockscreen lag? I know that on nearly every ROM I have tried out, there are issues with the screen wake function, where it sometimes takes two or the presses to wake it up. From what I can tell, this is a problem with AOSP in its entirety.

Lockscreen lag: when you lock your phone and try to wake up again (with home or lock button) screen turns on for a millisecond and shut down again so you cannot unlock your phone again and need to restart phone and this is everytime not just from time to time it makes the rom unusable I tried everything full wipe etc
(Hope you understand my English is not the best)

The 5.1.0 version? Did you tried it with either siyah kernel or cm 10.1 kernel?
Is it even built for your device?^^

Version 5.1.0 is notoriously unbootable. You get to a bootloop at the boot animation on all the d2 devices so far. iGio90 is supposed to be releasing a fixed 5.2.0 version on Monday.

Ok, so you can look forward to monday. Because this rom is nearly perfect. Just some issues with touchwiz indicator and the lack of multiwindow/ pagebuddy (samsung features that probably won't ever get into aosp/aokp unfortunatly =() - But for me, the best android 4.2.1 rom around.
Hello how do I put the list of activities on the lock screen?
thanks
Hi guys,
I flashed my phone with the latest haida nightly build and it seems that the front camera is not working at all.
It is as it has been vanished.
Is there anything I can do to debug this?
Best Regards,
dlhero
As far as I know it's a known issue that it's not solved. If it's very important you may consider putting a gingerbread or ics rom.

it's not that important, but i'd love to face the screen of the phone when skyping or otherwise use video calls
Is it a kernel thing? How can I start digging this?
I really want a custom rom and a custom kernel for my colors xfactor
Reasons:
1) It doesn't support swapping
2)It doesn't support overclocking
3)I can't install "wifi kill" on it because its android version is 2.3.6
And many more..
Can't any one make it??
Help me

Really?
What are You dreaming of?
(If I'm looking at a right phone) If it has 256MB of memory just forget android 4.2. It's impossible.
And about WiFi Kill, it works on android 2.3.6 because I have used it on my xperia x10.
What about galaxy y???
From where can I get wifikill for android 2.3.6??
