Hello guys
Sorry my English isn't perfect but I'm Italian.
I wanted to know if there is a way to save life battery for my Xperia P. At 13:00, the phone turn off, cause low battery.
I have Vision ROM by Acervenky (20/01) and ThP Kernel 8.0.
I tried to do a Wipe Battery Stats but could not find results
How can I save battery power? thanks ..
Use governors if possible
Or

Which governor put it?
SmartassV2 or Wheatley in combination with sio or zen scheduler gives good battery/performance ratio for me. You can find additional battery saving tips here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2104246

I like Rage Kernel
Mesa for battery, Panic for performance

How about rooting your Android phone? you can choose CynogenMod, best available so far. When you ask about battery life there some that you should considered first.
1. What are the Apps that sucking most of your battery life.
2. Some Apps has tendency to run on background and connect to internet every time, such Apps prone to suck most of your battery life. if you have such Apps installed, are they really necessary? if not then quickly uninstall it. I will give you better battery life.
If you planning to custom rom, you may end up with some compromise, search and find that those compromise are really compromise? is not they rush for custom rom and I suggest CynogenMod.
If you find my information is helpful, a thank will be appreciate. :good:
For me - Do use MESA or Rage Both great on battery life
Now using MESA
Can anyone make a customkernel for cm10 with more governers and scheduler like sirkay's ray kernel and with undervolt?

mesa ftw :highfive:
only because i cannot connect wifi with rage and panic...
Definitely, MESA is great

I use mesa ... And install no frills from play store and set governor to smartassv2 and scheduler to noop for even better battery life!
Press thanks if I helped

i hope it will help u...
I'm using panic kernel right now, and i can say that mesa kernel is a better option if you want a better battery life :good:
We all know that our ace sucks on battery & after finding that calibration is a myth, I was kinda broken The only thing that helps us long on our battery is underclocking. There was no thread for this, so I decided to create one ! So guys, please share your frequencies, governors, I/O scheduler, rom name, kernel used & battery life for varied usages ( less, moderate & heavy ). If underclocking hasn't decreased your performance but at the same time if it has improvised battery life then it's worth sharing ! Help people love their battery that hate it like hell now

I use sgs 2 v10.1, battery extender kernel 1.5.1 oc, governor : smart ass v2 , i/o scheduler : sio, max : 614 & min : 122. Opera mobile takes a bit time to load but works fine then on. I use go launcher ex with many themes installed & it runs flawlessy ! Battery backup was good but not great...

Current governor : conservative. I/O scheduler : deadline on the same rom & kernel as stated before & with the same max, min set. Battery was @ 46% after 16 hrs which included an hour of browsing on edge, calls & messages.

Why underclock the whole thing if you can just set a screen off profile? Using the phone while under clocked won't really give much battery. The Ace is a battery hog during screen on either way no matter what clock it's set at. All of you guys use your phone differently so that's why your battery usage varies.
Y U NO CHECK MY SIGNATURE?!

Thanks for this useful post ! I'll try setting profiles as you said & hope that my battery lasts a bit longer than now. What app do you recommend to set the profiles ?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
i use Apocalyse ROM final which is the fastest I found so far and set to
CPU min 122
CPU max 787
Govenor smartassV2
Battery keeps normally 16-24h (no flight mode in the nigh) depending on usage.
I load battery until 4pm and can use phone until next day up to 24h

i tried but all apps for profile settings shortened the battery life. With smartassV2 and CPU settings in der ROM it is enough. This is my experience with my ACE

Rom : PacMan Rom v22.0.0
CPU Max : 748MHz
CPU Min : 122MHz
Governor : Smartass V2
Stable and less never heats (which means less crashes)
I use Screen off Profile for underclock, Smartass, around 700 max and 200 min..
Dont use now as I amon ultimatum rom and I am testing it so dont need that but mostly I use these settings and Battery lasts 2 days
I dont play games
After trying out many ROMs and trying various combinations of Clock Speed and Govnors, i personally feel that:
FOR BETTER BATTERY LIFE- Clock Speed: 245 - 787, Govenor- ONDEMAND (am getting 1d 5 hrs battery life with 2 hrs talktime, full time 2G connected and 3 hrs wi-fi browsing using Battery Extender 1.2)
FOR PERFORMANCE: clock: 245- 806, Govnor- SMARTASSV2
To save Battery you can further UnderClock it but I feel 787 is apt.

For battery you can use governor as smartassv2 or virtuous and I/o scheduler noop..
For performance you can use ondemand or ondemandx with sio ..
Which Governor and I/O scheduler do you buddy recommend for saving battery and for speedy device with JB platform ? I am using now interactive and sio but I am not sure it is the optimal position...

I tried Lulzactiveq with PowerJB 1.4, but it was really slow. I read somewhere that Jelly Bean is made for interactive only.
I've been using ondemand-noop since ICS and I find it works just as fine on JB.
JB.400 xGO Rooted, Unlocked, Debloated, Greenified

will try. Thanks!
Thank you all. I checked your opinions and found ondemand-noop 200-1150 is most compatible for me.
I am using cfq & ondemand good preformance
For multicore processor, Sio will give good performance by splitting jobs, hotplug governor turns off other cores and runs only one core at light usage, saves battery.
pegasusq & hotplug is always good for battery and performance in multicore processors and also the sio and noop scheduler

Pegasusq and sio on FlyingThor v2.0 is awesome, great battery and performance.
Just want to know which saves battery and have a great performance
you need to create a new thread for this
Hotplugx on noop !!
It's depend on your usage,
I prefer Hotplug/ondemand + noop
