Hi guys can anyone tell me why can't I flash a new kernel on my I9100XXLPH (baseband version) pls see attachment for current kernel and rom.
I use CMW to flash the Dorimanx 1.7 update but it says Kernel flash failed! No zImage was found
I followed Cf root instructions and was successful
I also restored this backup from CWM recovery

try flashing the siyah kernel v3.4.1 instead of dorimanx and see,also baseband is nothing to do with ur kernel flashing for sure

try flashing a kernel cleaning script first and then flash the kernel and see.
also ensure the kernel zip file u dwnld'd is not corrupt or broken one

Thank you! kernel cleaning script worked and now I am on siyah 3.4.1 and possibly on way to playing with other kernels and roms again... Awesome work thanks!

today i download and install omega v16 jb 4.1.2. its automatically erase my siyah kernel and install philz kernel, now i try to flash my mobile with latest siyah kernel cwm zip by install zip in philz cwm but its not flashing. can some one help me out how to install dual boot using omega v16 jb 4.1.2 rom

What do you mean by 'it's not flashing'? You selected Install zip from sd-card and then what happened?

ya i select install zip , then choose zip from sd card then siyah 5.01 cwm zip, its starting installation but suddenly its exiting flashing,
Flash with Odin in Download mode.
And you can't flush a kernel, but you can flush a toilet.

Maybe you have a corrupted downloadfile, so you
have to download the kernel again.

i try with this file before, its was working with other kernel after installing philz kernel its not working, omega by default install philz kernel and after installation siyah is not flashing,

i flash with latest 5.0.1, but i am getting black screen after after kernel booting,

How can I go back to Siyah from the 4.1.2 JB leak with philz kernel ?
the omega does not start because the siyah is not compatible with the new leak 4.1.2 LJS .... there aren't still compatible kernel ... You need to reinstall the kernel Philzo to go back

1. Siyah Kernal Odin version : Flash via Odin ( http://d-h.st/Bcf )
2. Enter into Siyah recovery and flash a compatibale ROM.
Done.
If you havent got a rom on your micro SD card
a) In siyah kernal mount USB storage.
b) Use an micro-sd reader to copy flashable zip

Currently siyah doesn't support leaked jb.. So stay with Phil kernal...
You can try latest Dori kernal... Dual boot with omega... Rom my frnd using that...

Siyah,Dorimanx kernel does not have a support yet in jb leaked xxlsj, but for sure they are working with it now..

Thanks a lot man....had been searching around a lot for this...didnt wanna use odin... so was looking for a compatible siyah kernel...your post helped a lot....many thanks...
I flashed SuperNexus 2.0 and Siyah kernel on my phone. And after flashing the kernel there are several errors, some processes doesn't work anymore and mobile working very slow Like in slow motion
Does anybody have the same problems?

which siyah version u flashed is it v6.0b4, alternatively try flashing Dorimanx v7.43 and see

just dwnld the Zip file from the link below and flash the same from Recovery, the same way u flashed the supernexus rom
after flasing the kernel just reboot ur phone

By flashing it via recovery (.zip) or via Download mode and ODIN (.tar).

Copy the CWM version of Dorimanx kernel to your internel/externel SD card and flash it using the CWM recovery!
I did..it was not booting after I flashed the zip..but I got dorimax cmw..

Then ur dorimanx does not support neat rom. See the change log and check the compatibility of the kernel before flashing. Try Siyah kernel.

You'll be using philz kernel so download an old dorimanx (pre jelly bean) and flash that, reboot recovery (under advanced) then flash dorimanx kernel (must be 3.73 or above) reboot and BOOM
