Im coming to sony xperia p from htc wildfire buzz and i wanted to know what is the best yet safest overclock settings possible?
for the moment the xperias dont have a good kernel that can be overclocked too much so dual core 1 ghz its good for the moment

Probably the best minimum frequency is half of what you have.
It is possible to overclock to that speed, but it might burn CPU down add damage battery.

You don't overclock ram, fgs. Search the setcpu thread in the HTC g1 apps section and install it. Gives you control over the processor frequency, if that's what you're looking for. Thank if I helped, please.

Set CPU, but No-frills is a great free option too.
Overclock
I would always prefer No CPU Frills Control or SET CPU
You'll need a custom kernel - I prefer Rage Kernel
and and app like SetCPU (but it's paid).
Overclocking app
Make sure your kernel supports overclocking.
Currently using No-frills CPU Control which is included in GB Spartan Rom 2.2 Final.
Downgraded from ICS 4.0.4, now back on GB 2.3.4, much much faster and games are more compatible. Stock ICS kernel does not support overclocking.
I am running hybrid Rom in my sola.its very fast but xperia has bit slow in browsing net.
So I want to overclok it.
I have searched all over xda and internet but not find any overclocked kernel for xperia sola.
Can any one have or make the overclocked kernel for it.

You won't damage anything. The max. Overclocking is set up to 1200+Mhz,but it would cause reboots anyway, so you can overclock it to 1133mhz and you can use that speed because it will be stable and your CPU won't damage.

You have to have custom kernel (check if You have original "Sony Ericsson" text while booting) and also such program as for example "CPU master" to overclock it.

I ask You: Why do You have change clock processor? For what? Do not overclock. It really doesn't make a difference and only discharge Your battery. If overclocking for egz. to 1.5 Ghz was possible, then overclocking make sense. Otherwise not.
