i am new in andriod word so i do not much about it
i was trying to root my SGS2 but it's not allowed for rooting so that now i want to rest to the stock binary
I still don't get it. Rooting is not allowed? Says who? When? What? Use the same method as with the custom kernel flash, but swap the file with the stock kernel linked earlier.

If no stock Kernel you will either have to learn how to extract it or flash the stock rom in full .

Check the picture on the first post and tell me which one to pick
Don't flash cf-root, flash any other (ex. Siyah), if you can't found kernel for your version of ROM.

If you want to install a custom rom, the easiest way would be to first install Siyah kernel. It was already said above!

Yes no options for other kernels. Stock only on 4.3 atm. Give it time and you will have a choice.

Heard this from another thread, to install Paranoid, you don't need to root. Is it true.!?

Root is already done on custom roms. 4.3 has developers options and root in there. If you dont see dev options tap build about 5 times and it will come up in menu.
Edit: do you mean your on stock rom and no root? If so yes you need to root first. Sorry haven't read posts to well today.
What firmware do you have? Gb/ics/jb?

I had rooted an HTC Desire, for Cyanogen. First with Samsung and Paranoid. Btwn I have i9100 model.
So pick say lss philz zip and flash that in recovery. Make sure you put it on ext sd and go to recovery and then update. Reboot and root with cwm recovery is done. Then follow op in pa for how to install pa rom.
Im on biftor v11 with apollo kernel.

You have got a lot to learn..... Odin is for flashing the stock firmware files. Not custom roms. Sometimes altered recoverys and or a couple other files but unless something has changed recently that is all....
Also Q&A belong there not in DEV section... Your thread will be moved very shortly
