GTA: ViceCity - why can't I turn right while in car? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I can only use the on screen buttons, but I'd like to use the dock's right arrow or even D.
I think its a game problem because I connect a usb keyboard and I still get the same thing-everything works till I get in a car and try to turn right. I dont have any controller so I dont know if that would work.
So anyway... anyone else having this problem? is this a repairable thing?
p.s. I'm on stock JB not rooted or unlocked in anyway,.. yet.

[Q] gta3 with a gamepad? via computer,not bluetooth

I am trying to get my xbox 360 wired controller to work with gta3 and its somewhat working. Im using Xpadder, a gamepad profiler that can make the controller emulate and mouse/keyboard movement and then using "wifi keyboard" app to get it to move across to my phone. However i cant get mouse movements to register and can only really get basic walking and driving controls working, such as steering and walking. I cant figure out how to make the controller use any weapons, sprint, but entering and exciting vehicles works fine. Is there a better app to do what im trying to do? I searched and couldn't find any and am curious if anyone else has tried to do the same thing i am. I really need like a list of what the translation for the pc version would be, like what keyboard button was used for the ebrake, drivebys, etc because thats the only way i am able to get this controller to work. I have been working off of a list of pc controls but am still unable to figure out how to make the controller fire or use weapon or switch between weapons, i know it was default to mouse left click or left control but neither work for me. And ive literally gone over my entire keyboard pressing random buttons to see if i can make it fire or switch weapons.

[Q] 2 questions regarding MHL and bt mouse

Dear members,
I've just bought a MHL cable and a bt mouse. The idea was to use these two products to make my SGS II a sort of a mediaplayer.
The MHL cable is an official one from Samsung but it won't show any image on my tv. The right way to connect the phone to the tv is to use an hdmi cable and a power cable. I did that so that can't be the problem. The only thing i could think of is that my software doesn't support MHL. I'm running I9100XXLPQ Android 4.0.3 2012 March. This firmware isn't an official one in my country and it keeps showing me an icon of a software-update in my notification bar. Maybe this is the reason i can't get MHL working??? I might have to switch back to 2.3.6.??
secondly i bought a mouse (MS-Tech SM-310). The SGSII reconizes the mouse. The only thing is, only the left click and scrolling works (and off course the moving). I'd like to have the right mouse click to be the back button and if i click on the scroller it opens the settings. Is there a way to change this? Or is this different with every other mouse? If so, wich mouse does work properly?
Sorry for the bad english.
Mouse doesn't work for me on XXLPQ
Click the software notification and accept it and sign in using samsung account

Not at all or just the same functions as i told about? cuz it works, but only the left-click, scrolling and offcourse moving the cursor.
And what about MHL?

Broken screen - still use via MHL

Hi all,
I've got a broken screen so it doesn't even turn on anymore. I've reflashed a stock ROM, got it to boot up and I can plug in and see it via MHL. I want to use it to play videos etc through my TV as there's no other use for it. I've already got a replacement S3 to use as my main phone. Problem is the touch screen doesn't work for me to get through the setup and install the required apps. I could probably use a bluetooth keyboard/mouse or even physical using otg but I don't think that is possible using MHL. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott
mmm you could borrow for a BT mouse/keyboard and install TeamViewer QuickSupport, after that you should install TeamViewer 7.0 on your PC and since then you will be able to control your phone using the PC so you will not need the BT mouse/keyboard and you will be able to install whatever you want.
What do you think?

Yeah something like that was what I was thinking but as the screen doesn't work and it's on the Android setup screen when it's first turned on, I don't know how to pair a BT keyboard and mouse / install TeamViewer. My only thought would be a custom ROM with TV installed and configured and flashing it via ODIN .. but I don't know enough to create my own custom ROM
Thanks! :good:
Maybe I'm wrong but, when you plug the MHL adapter, it automatically mirrors the screen to the HDTV, doesn't it? I don't have it yet but I think it does, perhaps other could shed light on this issue

Yeah I've got an MHL adapter and it just mirrors the image so that's fine. I hoped the touch screen would still work even if it doesn't display anything but unfortunately it doesn't so I've got no way of controlling the phone, despite being able to see the display on my TV screen :crying:
You could set up everything you want on your working S3. Make a nandroid backup. Then flash that to your non-working phone.

I've got an option in my tv set that allows me to control the phone with the remote controller.
Check your tv.
i found it out accidentally in mine.
This option is called "fun link" in my tv set.

[Q] PS3 Controller over USB - (GameKlip Cable) - JellyBam 3.3.0

I hope someone with more knowledge on this setup can help me out. I would ask in the JellyBam thread but I don't have enough street cred yet.
I purchased a PS3 controller and the GameKlip with the male-to-male USB adapter. I have been able to successfully pair the controller over Bluetooth with the Sixaxis app from the Play store. I would also like to use the USB cable because when paired with the app, you can't pair any other device, like my Bluetooth headset. I would also assume the USB would conserve battery on both devices.
The USB connection works randomly... so i know it's not a complete waste of time trying to get it to work.
The issue to fix is why the connection is random. My thoughts are maybe something with the Kernel that comes with JellyBam, I could try a different one, or an app that will configure the USB state to more reliably keep the controller connected.
When the controller does work it is after a random number of times connecting and disconnecting the USB cable and pressing the "P" power button on the PS3 controller. When it does connect it will highlight an icon on my home screen and I can move the selection around with the joystick. It seems to disconnect as soon as I touch the screen or enter anther app. I have to go though the process of plugging and unplugging again to get it to work after the disconnect.
Another note, this same setup seems to work on my wifes i777 with an older (ICS) AOKP build. I have seen in some of my searching that JB doesn't have the same support for USB configurations as ICS. I would hate to go back to ICS just to get this working... but that may be my only option.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and please share any information you have!
