Ok guys i need help. I figure maybe its related to bmm n not rom,so creating this thread outside the rom thread might help somehow. Sorry if its not.Here's the thing;
I tried flashing D-Wiz 3.0.1(just playing around since so many reports talk about its good batterylife)-i choose standard installation in aroma except i decided to try strong undervolting. It boots fine,i setup the fone a bit n suddenly it freezes.
Then i decided to flash again with standard undervolting option, everything done, then it didnt boot, its stuck at the colorful'X' logo for too long, then i hard reset using the 3buttons combo,i entered recovery, there i see'E:cant mount cache' n several error about cant mount cache.Whats its about? No big deal though since i restored my backed up rom but everytime i enter recovery, that msg appears. N fyi i always use 1st system. Latest bmm from market. Any idea please?

Re: (Help) BMM,error cant mount cache?
Its ok,problem solved by entering setting in bmm n deleting, setting up the rom slot again before flashing. Dont know what went wrong though.

I'm not sure what to do, this morning I went to settings, about phone and updated it.
When the phone rebooted it said failed to boot 2, starting RSD mode.
If I pull the battery it will boot up fine, but it auto shuts off after 30-45 seconds.
I'm totally new to these phones, I know my Friend "rooted" it for me and it has superuser.
I joined this site to ask for help thought, because I'm under the impressing it is the best.
If you can enter recovery mode (Google how to do it on your phone if you don't know) just wipe cache, then enter into advanced mode & then wipe dev cache, then reflash the current rom you were using before this happened. If this doesn't work follow the wipe steps again above & also do a factory reset then reboot & this may solve your problem?
Hope this helps

I had a similar happen to my phone what you are going to need todo is flash templates recovery and install a custom rim. This is what worked for me and you can find the instructions needed on the development forum.

yes i know their are many topics out their around shutting off phones but non are helping me.. After recently flashing back to a samsung based rom... cm7 to the unnamedrom. my phone has been shutting off randomly so i decided to flash to the shostock rom and the problem continued i have tried wiping dalvik cache, cache, and even formatted my data! nothing has worked and no im not overclocked and havent doenloaded any apps lately..
my second problem is ive tried to flash miui to my phone (the one featured in the i777 development section) and all i get is force closes left and right and thats if i dont format before flashing.. if i do format my phone gets stuck in a boot loop.. this happened before and after my phone shutting off problem..

It might be time to flash back to rooted stock, then reflash your rom of choice. A good guide is found here. I think most users have found method 2c easiest.
thank you your a life saver!

Try a full wipe /system /data and reinstall.. Did the trick for me when I had that in past.
GSM is not working
Some of them have a question about using a international sim… Infact i have the same question… i have flashed my phone with multiple different roms still i cant get my Vodafone sim to work majority of the times i get this error message “com.android.phone has stopped working” i am not sure if anyone has answer. But i would really appreciate if someone could help us with that error message. Thanks again
Clear catch, dalvik and fa Tory reset. Flash jokers 3.2 cm9 from and g apps. Let phone boot up to setup screen. Reboot into recovery, clear cache and dalvik, flash jokers 4.2.1 or 4.3 and reboot.
This worked for me.

I have looked and looked, cant find an answer to my "unique" problem..
I was running Team Jellybeans V5 No Problem for the last little while (on my T959d)
Everything worked great (minus a few glitches here and there of course)
Saw the update for V6, downloaded, and flashed with CWM.
Did the wipes, (cache, dalvik and factory) did the wipes again after reboot,
Now Im stuck in an infinite bootloop, (goes to samsung splash, then Devilkernel Splash, then CWM where it shows cannot mount e:/ (cycles too quick I can't see it..) then it just reboots and continues,
I can't boot the phone into CWM recovery, can't boot into download mode, tried USB JIG, doesnt do anything,
I can't adb my phone, can't ODIN..
I'm usually pretty good at figuring out these weird problems but now I'm really stuck..
Hoping someone can shed some light??(hoping I'm in the right forum for this question, sorry if im not)
Thanks a lot,
McPhailmonator
I would try reflashing boot partition, just incase there is an issue with your boot.img.

Try taking the battery out, plugging the usb-cable in and then put the battery in, it worked for my galaxy some times, cuz that one got stuck in bootloops too :3

copy all important docs from int and ext card, format them, then reboot. after, you can try factory reset on stock rom

manually clear cache
Try this: If you are using TB run cache clear for user + system apps. Then boot into recovery and manually clear cache partition
