Maxthon Browser - Nexus 10 Themes and Apps

If you have not tried the Maxthon browser recently then it worth having a look.
It is very powerful and slick with integrated cloud, apps, bookmarks and speed dialer support .
It also supports Flash across tabs for multi-tasking.
I would just like an integrated password manager too, but Keepass is usable.

s.. it is one of the best browser available in the market.. bt still firefox is my primary browser..

the best Internet Browser ?

hello, im looking for the fastest internet browser for wildfire. can you help me ? which one do you use ? I dont care about the design, just speed . . thanks in advance
Opera mini is faster for lower data speeds as it hav severs to compress and send data to mobile browsers..but on fairly good data speed you could try xscope..
For me it's the stock Android Browser.
Opera Mini if you want pure speed.
Opera Mobile if you want better website rendering (JavaScript enabled) and speed.
I prefer Mobile myself, hate Mini.
I found Miren to work pretty well for me. It's got a few nice features too.
I prefer the stock browser.
I'm using Dolphin HD, simply because of the support for lastpass and xmarks. I just wish firefox supported the wildfire!
I'm using Dolphin HD..

Yes, and it works flawlessly.
opera opera and only opera
Unquestionably Dolphin Mini, a full featured browser with lots of goodies built In (like page capture, footprint tools, and lots more. Very easy to use, hardly any learning curve. Really its the only browser that feels like it belongs on your phone. Much better than Opera mini which is clunky compared,

I use Dolphin and it's so practical, has a lot of downloadable addons which most browsers don't have.

I'd prefer opera mini for speed and opera mobile also for speed, but mobile has just more opertunities.
mirren is just like google chrome on a phone( fast and small)
boat browser is the best for people that like the iphone browser.
Dolphin browsers are like the firefox for the wildfire we never had.
But like speed and nice design and the most stuff : opera mobile FTW
I use opera mobile 11 as it renders fast.huge improvement over v10

I used to use a Dolphin browser for internet browsing, but now I really like xScope browser that looks like standard Chrome and is pretty fast and more user friendly than Dolphin. Opera is good too, but sometimes it does not display pages as they really look.
Zirc is nice one: free, fast, no ads and has adblock.

Still sticking with opera mini altough there has been some unexpected FC's lately and problems with reflowing. In my opinion it's the fastest and easiest to use on wildfire. And I've tried Opera mobile, dolphin mini and hd, miren and last but not least stock browsers.

Best browser for mobile

What is the best browser ppl find for their phone? Firefox? Opera? Dolphin? Can you give a reason please?
Opera for slower networks.
Firefox is ok but huge in size.
Dolphin browser is a nice one. Very popular by the way.
XScope is one of my favorites. Very clean and fast
But the stock gingerbread browser is fantastic. My personal favorite since its made for the phone and firmware.

I like to roll with SkyFire.
I like Dolphin HD. Nice interface, good use of tabs, reliable, easy access to bookmarks etc.
I like Dolphin, to my opinion, it is fast, clean and gets easy-to-use interface
mozilla is getting better daily. that being said... i still use the stock browser. i find it the fastest...

What's the smoothest Android browser?

I have Nexus S and browsing can be a pain since it can be very lagging. I'm using dolphin right now and i can't see the huge difference in terms if smoothness between dolphin and stock. Can anybody recommend me fast, smooth and polished browser for anrroid? Thanks a ton!

If you have ICS on your Nexus S, I'd give the new Chrome Beta (Market Link) a try. It only works on ICS, but I have on it on my Galaxy Tab (with an ICS rom), and it's one of the fastest and most aesthetically pleasing browsers I've used. Not to mention it syncs tabs/favorites/etc. with your computer's Chrome.
It is in beta, but I've had no issues so far.
i have a nexus s too whit ics , all are the same for me but the best are boat mini or normal , chrome and dolphin
I sadly don't have ics... any other browsers?

have you tried Miren Browser ? I have a Milestone (Motorola A853) and it's the smoothest for my device. And works on Froyo/Ginger
I know for any of the browsers you end up with, you can test their speed with this...
peacekeeper.futuremark.com
It's a browser benchmark
Dolphin browser has been great in my experience. You could try Firefox if you haven't yet. With your phone I wouldn't think that lagging would be an issue unless a web page has lots of flash elements. You may want to enable plugin loading on demand to speed up page rendering.
Opera mobile (haven't tried chrome). Smoothest browser I've used by far (there's just no two finger dragging). Also has a nice and easy to use UI.
MX and Dolphin are also OK, scrolling smoothness wise, firefox is horrible.
Dolphin HD by far is the best browser IMO. Chrome for Android keeps draining battery for me by always staying active in the background.

Opera Mobile.

Thanks guys! I'll try them and see what's best for me.

I used to use Opera & Miren, and thought they were the best. Now I only use Boat Browser for my Droid X2.
Yeah I use Opera on my tab and phones.
Standard, Firefox and Dolphin browser just didn't want to work like it was supposed to on al 4 devices.
IMHO Boat Browser is by far the best browser...
Opera Mobile, smoothest I've tried
+1 for Opera here too
Boat browser gets my vote. FCs a lot less than Dolfpin

I tried a lot of browsers, but opera has both features and smoothness, so I'll be using opera for my default browser... thanks though!

Chrome vs ICS Browser with regards to performance?

I'm interested to know how Chrome fares on your single-core devices against the ICS stock browser? For me, Chrome feels rather heavy. Although I can't pinpoint it, I can feel the phone to be quite dragging whenever I'm using Chrome, whereas using the stock ICS browser hasn't given me any sign of slowness at all.
For mobile site ics browser...for desktop site chrome

Chrome is very slow Xperia Mini, I use Dolphin Browser and it works OK.
Chrome at me strongly brakes. Use Opera Mobile/Dolphin Browser or Firefox
If u need to synchronize your browser you chrome but in lww it is very slow so I recommend using dolphin or opera mobile

I Would prefer using the stock ICS Browser dude..
Chrome is taking a lot of space on my Xperia Mini and its Real Heavy so i just toss it away from my XM
Anyway I Use Any Browsers as long it can browse the internet
chrome is still beta no flash support, im using stock browser and chrome,
I prefer to use stock browser over chrome...page load faster on stock while smootness is chrome....but try alternative browser like dolphin hd which is one of the best browser for android

Before I used the excellent Opera Mobile for auto text reflow and flash.
I test Chrome on Xperia Mini but since I found the app ICS browser+ I only use stock browser!:good:
I don't use opened tabs and I have all the same bookmarks sync plus auto text reflow, flash, and the very used extra quick controls.
I can't use Chrome because of this So I'm happy with stock browser for now...

So as far as I can see most people would suggest against usage of Chrome on single-core devices like our 2011 Xperia line of phones.

I Just Want a Browser Which Does The Basics Well

For me, a Browser needs to support Flash, have a good speed dialer(which can be set as the home page), a good bookmarks manager, a good password manager and if it is fast as well then I'm happy.
Other than the Boat browser, I'm finding it quite difficult to find many browsers which meet these basic requirements.
The well known browsers like Chrome, Dolphin, Opera etc. have all abandoned Flash or don't have built-in password managers or lack good speed dialers which can be set as the home page.
The only other browser that I've found which almost meets my criteria is the Maxthon browser, but that does not have a password manager.
I use Keepass as a backup in case my Boat passwords get lost and that can be used to copy and paste login details to browsers. But for some reason it does not work with the Maxthon browser.
Are there any other browsers besides Boat which does the basics well?
I use the AOSP browser, and floating browser occassionally, but AOSP browser for all other things.
Have you tried Naked Browser or Lighting Browser

My 2 cents, Get the ocean browser , Amazingly smooth ,
Even maxthon does the job well , but ocean is amazing with its pie interface
Is there any chance on enabling the desktop version the time.

Thanks for your suggestions. But I really need a browser that includes a password manager because I have a lot of passwords and the Boat browser seems to be the only browser which includes a good free password manager.
Like you wrote -> Boat Browser!
Found it yesterday and its just awesome. Small (3MB), Java support, awesome smooth flash support, memory friendly, highly customizeable!
Pure awesome!

Yes, get the app chrome UA changer. There you can set it once permanently to desktop and uninstall it
+1 Boat browser. You need to enable Flash support in settings after you install it.

Have you tried Ocean browser? Very smooth on the Nexus 10. Not sure if the password management is as robust as you need but give it a try. Mine works with flash player 11.1.115.27.
