[Q] [PROBL]Cwm-recovery v5.0.2.7-nandroid backup and md5 checksum error

When trying to restore backup from CWM-recovery I get MD5 checksum error in 2 of 3 restores. The backups doesn't report any errors but restores stops because of MD5 error.
Every time I do a backup I have to check by restoring to verify that the backup is ok. Otherwise I can't trust the backup to be restorable.
This happens with backups/restores from either sdcard or ext_sd, no difference.
Anyone else experiencing this, and are there any solutions to solve it, or at least check the state of the backup without needing to restore it to check if it's restorable?

In adb shell or in a terminal emulator, navigate to your backup folder
Code:
cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/name-of-your-backup/
md5sum *img > nandroid.md5
This code resolves md5 checksum errors. Now try to restore.
In case this fails, use advanced restore to restore each .img one by one

Did you start the backup from the app itself? md5 checksum mismatches happen a lot when you do... nandroid backups should ALWAYS be done via the recovery menu to avoid this problem. I'm afraid md5 checksum errors are non-recoverable, but do not take my word for granted
As for the titanium backups, check the /extSdcard/data/com.keramidas.titaniumbackup folder is there and has not been moved or modified in some way (remember titanium backs up to the internal phone memory by default, if you flashed another ROM and didnt backup this folder the backups wont be able to be restored)

Did you change the folder of the restored files or modify anything in the restore folder?? Then only MD5 miss match occur.

How it can be done that?
go to the recovery settings, find the one that says md5 check and disable it. flash philz recovery if you don't have that option
Although the mismatch may be because the backup is corrupt so be aware once restored, it may not be in a usable state

did you rename your backup folder name?
if so, simply create a backup,
using computer to move th files that you wanted to restore into the newest backup folder, than try restore.
