Thanks a lot for trying
You may now ask the developer of this tool. He's gathering feedback from everyone
Does not work on P760 V10H
All ADB drivers ok, perfectly loading. Rechecked everytime after every boot. Looks like V10H is strongly unrootable. The software attempts 5 different methods to root.
Root#1
Root#2-1
Root#4
Root#4B
Root#5.
P760V10H failed with each attempts.
Not tried on V10A or V10C.

It did not work on any variant of L9. Even on Rootable roms (my V10C) lolz.
The developer seems does not respond in his own thread and pms too.
Useless for L9. No need to keep hopes when we already know how to root our rootable roms.

This SRS app uses same exploit from bin4ry what we used for root earlier versions of firmware. So this only eyecandy with buttons

No!!! even bin4ry's batch file need some modification which was done by zanakoru33, which it seems they have not yet updated in that therefore it does not work on currently rootable versions too.
Well when we have our own simple method, why we need that eyecandy?

Haven't seen mingkey responding people on his thread since long time but try zanakorus in PM . He is regular in forums.
Sent from p765.
I found P760, P768 and P769 in the list of Rootable Devices in SRSRoot 3.2 thread, but I did not find a single person successfully doing it. In fact few more errors were reported for these devices.
How can anyone claim without a testing themselves or confirmation by actual users? Very strange.
123unlock is claiming that SRSRoot 3.2 is working on P760 P768 and P769 in this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37994398&postcount=52
I did not see any confirmation in the thread though.
If anyone successfully does this, please report. P769 people should give it a try at least for once.
EDIT: It is very strange that the application sends the log from user to their server and author does not inform this to anyone anywhere.
I'll try it when I get home, can't download anything on my work computer.

How is the file called? It downloads a ~230mb file (signed-nbx03_007-ota-120803058.zip). Is that the right one? And if not, how do I get it?
After downloading I just need to use the AIO methods to decrypt and resign and flash, right?

That is the r1a ota. At this stage it is for US region only, you can change to US region to install though.... It is still 100% rootable using custom method, well the US release anyway. Correct to be safe you could create the custom update.zip using AIO

I updated to 4.0.3(release5) and i can't root the Tablet now
hi, i just bought sony tablet S from singapore, I need assistance for rooting this tablet. First of all i've already tried all of the tricks that are mentioned in this forum, but i got no result . May be i've been doing something wrong even i followed step by step instructions.
My Tablet info is :
Android Version :
2.6.39.4

Build Number
TISU0R0410110
maybe somebody can give me some clue which tool to use to root this tablet.
Factory Reset the Tab first and then try again !

Initially I too found it difficult to root once i upgraded to 4.0.3 (r5)
Here's what I did.
1. Backup all ur data, and factory reset the tab, preferably with erase USB option checked.
2. Download Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry
3. Once ur tab is reset, complete the initial setup, go to settings, and make sure USB debugging (Developer Options), Unknown Sources (Security) is checked
4.Now to run Bin4ary's script, follow the instructions given in this video tutorial.
5. Instruction for rooting the tab appear from 6:00mins after start of the video.
6. Though the video shows instructions for Xperia Tablet S, the method for the older Sony Tablet S is the same. The only catch being which version of the script to use. As I've mentioned in this thread before, v10 of Bin4ary's script did the job for me.
7. If all the steps are followed as shown in the video, you will be able to root your tablet successfully.
Don't forget to thank WonderEkin for translating the rooting method from japanese, and also Bin4ry for making the rooting procedure so much simpler through his script !!
Good luck with rooting ur tab mate !

Rootkit from zenfone4
Hello
I've receive the new padfone mini last week (intel version 4").
During update (without rootkit !) to the official update Asus, i've softbrick the device.
They are no recovery mode in the droidboot menu (possible to edit in xml file ?)
Only the fastboot menu is ok (no the adb).
OEM unlock in not supported.
conclusion : brick and no CWM or TWRP recovery/boot available
Test with many files from Zenfone4, but signKey not good and i don't know how change key and rebuild the .img
i can't test this APK rootkit before bricking my device ... search over the asus-zenfone.com rootzenfone-144r-apk
may be compatible with Mini ?
Waiting feedback to test all solutions

I've rooted and unrooted a bit for testing,so make sure to plug the phone without the station, don't update the firmware at the recent 10.14.6.65 only the .61 works, the weirdest part is that you have to try a bit of time, continue trying until it works if the phone reboots during the proces a good sign.

I do not recommend king root. I've used it, and have heard from others who did as well, and it did nothing but brick my poor device... Furthermore, it is more bloatwarey than the bloatware I tried to get rid of. Seems very counterproductive to me.
My suggestion is, and always will be, Wondershare. They've never let me down. Successful root on every device I've tried.

Yes. I rooted it once with Kingroot. However on reboot you have to fix root permissions again. Just run Kingroot again and it will reroot the device. This with a LG-K520DY. BUT....
I must warn you that once rooted you can never clean the system of the root files. Even if you unroot the phone with Kingroot software, the system is not clean and you cannot get OTA updates. I did fix this problem by downloading LG Bridge from the LG support site and updating that way. I now have an unrooted phone and I don't recommend rooting this particular model because of all the difficulties LG has created around it.
This is same phone as stylo2 there is a zv3 kdz file there in android forum the zv3 is can get root and full root after some work

Is it possible to port TWRP recovery from same Soc 430 (Xiaomi Redmi 3s)?
Please help
Try this
Did anybody tried this method suggested by Archicom27? I have gone through entire thread and its depending on Unlocked Boot Loader. and there is absolutely no way to unlock Boot Loader of Stylus 2 Plus (K535D) through LG.
Idk if anyone is still on this or not but I got my Stylus 2 plus like 4 days ago and rooted it with TWRP in about 3 minutes using the manual method of pushing the binaries and recovery through adb and fastboot. There are tons of tutorials that will teach this and it's really not difficult at all. I'd like to have our own subforum for this device so I can start sharing things I've created so far. I've got Xposed installed as well and gravity box works without issue. Here's my home screen. Notice the clock is centered, battery icons are changed, etc for proof of working Xposed modules

HI abadasstanker69,
Thanks for reply but your Phone seems to be a different variant (MetroPC, I believe). Indian Version of LG Stylus 2 Plus (LG K535D) is not allowed to be bootunlocked using "Fastboot OEM Unlock". They need an UNLOCK.BIN file to unlock which can only be obtained from LG. and right now, LG is not provide UNLOCK.BIN for this model.
well, Boot unlocking is for installing Recovery and Custom ROMs. Phone can be rooted without unlocking the Boot but in that case, it has to be done through Software and needs loopholes in ROM to exploit. Previous LG Phones were rooted using this methods eg. LG Optimus Black on Android F and G.
I have tried almost every SW available in the market (King Root, Kingo Root and bla bla bla...) and nothing is working.
PS: This is my personal opinion and observations. Experts/Gurus here can correct me.

Hi panchalgl,
I believe its not possible as it requires root on your device which is not possible as of now.
Device is good but No Root and no chances of customization is very bad. Customization is the soul of Android....

The very basic requirement of this porting is "Your Device Must Be Rooted With SuperSU > 2.76
"Here are the 2 simple requirements you have to met:
a) root by SuperSU >=v2.76 (greater or equal v2.76)
--> to test this requirement just start the installer of FIsH with --check (see next lines) which will check for all requirements and abort if its not possible"
I dont think, it will help us since its prerequisite is root.
