Power options - can't figure out - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I own a Samsung Galaxy 2 7" tablet, from Verizon. I have installed in my truck.
I'm running into problems with tablet not turning off the screen when the power is off.
Basically I want the screen to turn on when the power is turned on - I turn on my truck, and the screen to go out when I turn off my truck.
I can't seem to find any option within the Settings, is there an app that will do this? Anyone knows?
Thank you!

No one can help?
Tried a bunch of programs, nothing seems to do the trick.

[Q] Unknown drum roll sound

Ok, I was looking at my apps list, I never touch an app, just going through them and then went back to home. I used the power button to turn the screen off. I set my phone down started my homework when it started making a drum roll sound and then it phased out while and sound similar to the phone's turn on sound phased in. It was for about 10 seconds.
I quickly turned on my phone, hit the password to see what app. I accidently hit and there was none, just the home screen as normal. Its running normal, just I want to know hat happened.
Anyone else experience that?

[Q] Screen is blank - HELP!

Hello, my name is Udi. I have recently bought an ASUS Transformer Prime.
Last night I turned it on, it started loading showing the ASUS icon, and then the screen turned black. The device is working (sounds of E-mails, for example), but the screen is blank. Only some backlight is visible. Touch is working.
I am able to turn it off, after pressing the power button for 2 seconds, by guessing the position of the "yes" when it asks me if I want to turn the device off.
I tried reseting using the power button and the volume down button, but it doesn't work.
HELP ANYONE???

Help needed asap

Guys i was in my settings a few minutes ago and i came across a feature which enabled me to open up my notifications by just tapping the screen so i enabled it and went to the homescreen to test it! Upon tapping the screen the phone started maing a beeping noise and a blue line started scrolling continously downward on the screen! I cant turn the phone off ! I only seem to be able to reboot it which doesnt help! I needto power the phone off i assume and then maybe do a hard reset??? Advice needed please
anyone?
What setting did you access I don't believe anybody will be able to help if we don't know where you went and what you changed. The things you mention are very vague and don't really paint a picture of what is happening.
Also if you want to turn the phone off without using the on screen settings just hold onto the power button for about 10 seconds it should turn off, after that hold power, home button, and volume up to go into recovery to reset or what ever it is you please.
Also is it showing you an X and Y axis? If so then you just go into settings, developer settings, show screen updates and turn that off the grid should go away. I am not sure what your issue is but that seems like the most likely option.

Screen keeps on turning on while charging & sometimes Power Button on phone wont work

Screen keeps on turning on while charging & sometimes Power Button on phone wont work
For some reason, while connected to bluetooth, the watch's screen will light up and show on the top that it's connected to bluetooth (as if I slided down). Right now I disconnected the bluetooth and it's charging just fine. Also while connected to bluetooth, sometimes the power button on my Galaxy S5 (running AllianceRom) will become unresponsive. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
Lastly, I had uninstalled the stock email app when I flashed the ROM months ago, but when I go to my old apk's to install it, it won't install. It'll say, "App not installed". How can I get it to install?

Deleted system app, screen wont turn off

I was deleting system apps on my galaxy core prime to turn it into an mp3 player. All was going well until i realised i cant turn off the screen with the power button. The power button works for turning it on and off, and even setting the screen to time out doesnt work. Does anyone know what app is responsible for this? I do have it rooted
