[Q] Radio Not Working

I really need some help yesterday i flashed cm7 from stock. Eveything was working fine then after I made a phone call my mobile data dropped out. I tried everything I could think of while running the rom but I couldn't get it to work So I used odin to go back to stock, which didn't work. I then tried using heimdall to go back to stock and that didn't work either. If anyone has any advice please give it I'm desperate.
is it bricked? Do you mean that you can't odin back to stock?
no i went all the way back to stock and I still dont' get any service
what baseband version does it show?
baseband is S:i500.04 V.EH03
did you try doing *228 yet? It might just need to be activated. There was a thread last summer about losing data and having to call cust service and have them do some sort of reset on your esn or something.
The modem on my second fascinate went bad, but would at least get 1x data. It just wouldn't get 3G. Verizon swapped it out under warranty. I guess there's a chance that your modem actually died.
i actually can't even make calls.

[Q] Flashed to prepaid company with rooted stock rom but want to flash to CM10

I got a HTC Evo 4g lte that was rooted, I took it to Clear Talk (Pre-paid phone company) so they could flash it over to their company but they told me that it wasn't possible because the phone was rooted with CM10 and Dial pad code ##3424# was not working so I had to flash it to a rooted stock rom (deodex rom) and after I flash it I took it back to Clear-Talk and now they were able to flash it to their company, so my question is if I want to go back to CM10 ROM can I do it without worrying that the phone will lost the activation to Clear-Talk?
You shouldn't have any issues. The phone won't go through hands free activation after flashing a rom. Just don't do #786 because that will wipe everything (if you enter your msl) and will make the phone go through hands free activation.
In case of tl,dr...flash away, no worries.

[Q] Stock KK (Korean ROM) + GoPhone SIM = No MMS?

I've had my Optimus G for about a year and a half now, and have been using it with a cut-down GoPhone SIM (for those unaware, GoPhone is a prepaid AT&T cell service). I do not have a data plan and simply use WiFi for my data needs. I do use cell data for MMS purposes, and use the APN setup from this thread to make sure my phone doesn't make any non-MMS data calls.
I've never had any issues in doing this with any ROM (stock JB or custom ROMs such as Carbon or PA).
However, I've been giving the new Korean-rip stock KK roms a go and I can't get either one to work correctly with MMS. Paulicat's ROM constantly throws errors saying it can't connect to cell data, so I gave gourab4u's ROM a try. It doesn't throw any error messages at all (and seems to run a lot better/smoother on my phone), but if I try to send an MMS text it never goes through.
Worried that my mucking about with custom ROMs on my phone may have done some weirdness, I LGNPST'd my phone back to stock. The stock JB ROM worked fine with MMS, so I gave both of these new stock KK roms a try again, and the same issues resulted. Just to be absolutely sure it wasn't a radio issue, I flashed this AT&T JB Radio E97020J ZIP. Still no MMS.
Any and all help would be appreciated...the Korean stock KK ROM runs beautifully on my phone otherwise, and I'd hate to have to go back to an AOSP ROM just for MMS.

[Q] Razr XT912 on PP with working LTE, no voice/sms

I'm a new member here, I have done extensive search on this issue and have not found a solution yet.
My phone is Droid Razr Maxx XT912 that was flashed to PagePlus 3G months ago. I used a thread on Howard Forums that details the process for flashing various Droids to PP 3G.
It worked great, no problems. Last week I installed CyanogenMod 11 and it still worked good. Yesterday my PP LTE SIM arrived and I began the process of getting it to work on 4G. Settings in Mobile Network Settings are as follows: CDMA Subscription is set to RUIM/SIM, and Preferred Network Mode is set to Global(CDMA/EvDo/LTE/GSM/WCDMA. I tried a few of the modes, with same results.
The issue is that LTE works great, but I have no voice or SMS. MMS works fine. I have been back and forth with PP support, they programmed it for 4G and they say everything is correct on their end, which it probably is.
Is there an obvious setting I'm missing here? Again it is running CM11 with SafeStrap. Installing CM would have fully erased the 3G flash and settings, is that correct?
Thank you!

Installing CM has nothing to do with the flash, I think your best bet for it to work is to uninstall everything including safestrap, boot into fastboot, and RSD It to this: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/13566-how-to-droid-razr-return-to-stock/ This is the only known way to restore the 3g settings you flashed the onto the device. Make sure you download this update: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/download.php?device=9&file=156 and not the Blur_Version.98.72.165.XT912.Verizon.en.US update, because the latter has no way of rooting it. Sadly, the only way to get your phone to work is to wipe it completely. Good luck!:good:
Thanks for the reply. I decided to try that about an hour ago, figured out how to uninstall safestrap, then used RDS Lite to flash the stock ROM (it was the same one you linked to). Now voice, sms, and 4G data are working flawlessly. The only drawback is that I'm back to the unrooted stock ROM. If I would install CM11 now, should it stay working or was there an issue with CM? I am assuming the 3G flash had affected files that are not part of the ROM?

CyanogenMod ROM has nothing to do with the service. You should be fine installing CM. If you need a root tool, use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr/development/droid-razr-utility-xt913-jellybean-t2861798 and install safestrap, and then install the ROM of your choice. It doesn't matter if it is Stock Slot or Slot 1 etc., it should work fine.:good:
It was just the leftovers of the previous 3G flash that caused the original problems.
I got my PagePlus 3G flashed XT912 onto PP 4G LTE with no problems by flashing the phone back to stock with RSD Lite and the .165 update. I then (after activating the LTE sim with PP) rooted, installed Safestrap, and installed Axxionkat. The one thing to check on any rom is in Settings>Data>Network>CDMA+LTE/EvDo.

Wifi and Cellular Data Problem

If my Droid Incredible 4G LTE is connected to Wifi, it disconnects from Cellular Data. When I leave where ever it is connected to WifI, it won't connect back to cellular data. I have to turn off Wifi, then reboot the phone. I haven't tried something like switching to Airplane mode, I will try that. Has anybody else seen this issue? The phone is on Straight Talk Veriozon network, so is using SIM card for 4G LTE and CDMA for voice.
Are you stock?
No. Probably would help to mention that. S-OFF, partitions swapped and rooted CM 1.2.1 FWIW, this was happening with CM 11.2 before the partition swap. It wasn't happening before I did S-OFF and flashed CM 11.2 but I was also living in a different location for several months. It didn't start until I moved to where I am now.
I would try to do a clean reflash and see what happens.
I will think about that but I did a clean install when I did the partition swap and flashed the new ROM. I'd rather not do that again and have to set the phone back up again.
Today it seems to be better, I moved from Wifi to out and about and it switched to LTE properly.

I may have to try the reflash after all. The problem's gotten worse and now as of yesterday and today a reboot of the phone isn't getting me cellular data back. This did not start until we moved to a temporary place where I get voice service but not data at home. So the phone spends a lot of time on Wifi and not in a place where it can get data. So I'm wondering if the Verizon network is somehow forgetting about the phone or somesuch. At my old house, it was connected to Wifi but the data network was always available. The phone is S-Off with a custom bootloader and recovery. Assuming I wanted to try, can I put the stock ROM back on it without undoing all that?

If you want to go to stock, you will have to reverse the partition swap.

That part I understand. What I should have asked was "if I want to go back to the stock ROM, do I need to undo the custom recovery, relock the bootloader, go S-ON, etc? Any other ROMS besides CM I might try? That could tell me if it is the ROM or not but, again I did not have this issue until I moved to an area where I can get voice, but no data.
You should be able to remain s-off. here are the stock packages if you don't have them, http://android.cmphys.com/stock-fireball/

Thanks. I will grab a stock ROM. I really like CM 12.1 (and the swapped partitions) though. I was able to get the phone back to cellular data this morning while I was on a chat with Straight Talk. Why a reboot worked then but not the 3 other times I have no idea. I'm also wondering what happens the next time this happens if I go into APN settings and change it to one that doesn't work, then change it back.
Over looking at the stock ROM downloads I see a link to this patch:
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/93484/
The ROM I am running now was built on 05/26. I see a newer CM 12.1 ROM dated 06/12 that contains that patch so I will flash that ROM, probably next week. I'm on call this weekend and don't want to risk bricking the phone.
I'm running the 6/12 build and it seems happy. I only run my Fireball on WIFI since I switched to AT&T and have a Nexus 5 for my primary.

Ive thought about getting a new phone on a GSM network but where we are building our house I can't get a ATT signal there, so I'm stuck with Verizon.
