I think I messed up when I was playing around with it.
I tried to install D-Wiz via BMM on System 2 Slot, it wouldn't work so I tried stuff. And I restored the cid.img.
I can still go to the stock bootloader.
I've tried to install some stock ROMs with RSD and Eternity flash script. All failed.
The ROMs I've tried are:
- SPYDERIRD_U.01.26.0_SPD-IRD-21_SIGN_ASIA_RETAIL_HKTW.xml.zip -> Failed flashing process. 1/13flash cdt.bin "cdt.bin_singed" -> Phone returned FAIL.
- VRZ_XT912_6.7.2-180_DHD-16_M4-31_1FF.xml.zip (I didn't realize it was for another device. >.<)
- SPDIRD-40_ASIA_RT_1C.91P_CFC_P2B_Signed.xml.zip -> Failed flashing process. 6/22 flash cdt.bin "cdt.bin_signed" -> Phone returned FAIL.

Can someone point me to the right direction?
Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Have u tried this ROM? Via rsdlite (this is for my RAZR XT910)GSM version

Can u charge ur device...
If not please Dont keep it on for too long ....or its battery will go dead n razr wont allow anything to be flashed!
then to charge it ull have to open it ! :crying:
Hello hrishi21007.
Thank you, I'll try that one.
Yes, I can charge my device, choosing BP Tools would show a blank screen most of the time, but if after 4-5 times of rebooting and choosing that menu again will show the battery screen somehow.
I'll post the result when I'm done. I'm charging the phone at the moment.
That did the trick. Thank you!
I flashed SPYDERIRD_U.01.6.7.3-94_SPI-328_04.11.01P_0A.74_ASIA_OPERATOR_CFC_HWp2b_SIGNED.xml.zip with RSD after charging to 100%.

Nope I still can't flash it. It stops in the step 6/14. And it says "cdt.bin_signed". Phone returned FAIL. It was a Gingerbread 2.3.6 Asian and I tried to flash it and I made all the noob mistakes and ended up hard bricking it. I already have the factory cable but I still can't flash it. My Flashboot screen says the following:
Invalid Flash Mode (S) (Boot Failure)

eMC info: Size 16G
To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down

I read in other Forums that maybe changing the Radio file for one of EU would make a difference but I have no idea on how to.

He can obliviously degrade to ics or gb if he had updated jellybean via bmm but here as i can see he stuck at fastboot invalid method so unless he doesn't flash appropriate fastboot files he can't get rid of it .
First getting a working RAZR is important not what BMM can do and he has already tried his region ICS fastboot but unfortunately still popping with thr same s**t .

I said about teardown because ya a senior member and ya almost know everything about RAZR because ya have already made so many of videos to help others and i really respect that and I'm ya subscribed viewer on YouTube but do ya really think ya did not say to open the RAZR if yes then "is it really good to open" , if not then i really sorry i did not read ya post

Hi people,
well, i did something stupid and now everytime i turn on my razr i see the screen down below.
I can use the menu to go to normal boot and use the phone without other incoveniences, but, obviously, i would like to fix it.
I have seen some similar threads but couldn't understand how to fix it.
I'm now on ICS 4.0.4 (Stock,Brasil) and got here from GB.
I believe the problem happened when i was trying to install the china or europe versions, but i can't remember the script i was following (yes pretty stupid, i know).
may someone please give me some light.
Thank you all.

Being allowed and actually being unlocked are two different things...since it's allowed, go unlock it then try to root. It should work then.
Head over to the dev section and read the directions, enjoy!

Hello Everyone This is my first post on any forum ever, and I can only imagine i'm probably dong it all wrong. I know this is someone else's thread but i wasn't sure if I could start another thread with content matter so close to other threads already on here. I'll try and keep this simple. Fancied a go at rooting my xperia s recently, having previously successfully rooted a galaxy s2 I thought i'd have a go with my Sony. I spent a good amount of time reading the many various guides on here and was fairly disheartened at how little I understood a single thing people were saying on the noobs guide! In the end I decided to go to youtube and search a guide out there. thanks to user inamghafoor i successfully unlocked the bootloader the problem came when it came to rooting my device. everything was fine except when it came to the section using the command prompt to load the .img file for the version build I used to ftf file while he was using a .img file. So now my phones bricked and despite lookng at every page on here regarding sorting this kind of thing out i dont have a clue what to do. The problem is simply dont understand ANY of it, i'm way way over my head. I know I need a .img file for build version 75 but I cant seem to find one that works in the formate have been shown by the guy I mentioned above on youtube. I've tried using the xperia flasher but that and all its guides mean absolutely nothing to me. Is there anything I can do (apart from not be so dumb) or should I just bin the phone and consider it a lesson hard learnt? Thanks so much to anyone that read this far. If i have gone about this whole posting stuff all wrong just let me know and i'll close my account immediately and stop bothering everyone.

Yeah i managed to figure out the 3 vibrate turn off thing. I tried setting up the flash thing but it says x10 so i went to get some 2012 bits for the lt26i and when i go to open them ready to flash there's nothing inside that the flashtool wants to open. Plus with the phone just rebooting every 3 seconds it never gets very far anyhow.

Download the latest flashtools and download any xperia S firmware from development section.
The firmware should be in ftf format.
Place it under /firmwares folder in flashtools, then open flahtools and click flash,ok,choose the firmware that you've download then ok.
Wait till a pop up that tells you to connect your phone, here press volume down and connect the usb cable.
A green led appear and the flashing start.
When the flashing finish, unplug the usb and turn on your phone, will take long time to boot first time.
Done...
PS:use flashtools.exe not flahtools64.exe to start flahtools software.

Guys, I have a huge problem. My Razr MAXX from Claro Puerto Rico was updated a month ago in the store to the official 4.0.4 rom. Yesterday it popped up a msg saying that there was a new update available. I connected it today to my computer and the Motocast software said that there was the 4.1.2 update available so I took the plunge and tell it to update the phone. It asked me to choose on either erase the phone or just install it, but that it was highly recommended that I should erase the phone to install. I clicked yes and after 5 minutes it showed a failed message on the PC screen and the phone stuck on the bootloader. I went to claro to ask for help and they wont even try to fix it because the warranty ended last month.
I need the files and the procedure to make it work again, I gave this one to mom after I got back to T-mo and she needs it urgently to stay in touch.

I think I'm missing something here. The laptop recognizes the phone, when it gets connected, but RSD wont show device info. Is there anything else I haven't do?

I am new here and I apologize if this is a repeat but I have spent hours reading threads and looking for a solution. If it's here I can't find it. Below is the screen I get when I turn it on. I've found threads that show the same screen but not how to fix it. I would like the simplest way to get it back working and booting again either to factory specs or to one of the mods. I have never flashed or rooting this phone and I need to find instructions that are step by step that I can follow. I've made sd cards for my nook before following instructions from here but I need them to be complete and thorough since I am not well versed. Any help will be greatly appreciated including pointing me to existing instructions if they exist because I can't find them.
I have a Droid Razr Maxx HD (XT 926) that failed. I have tried pretty much every suggestion that I could find to make it start up again without success. AT this point I can't tell you all the steps I have tried but I know I tried normal powerup, recovery, AP fastboot, factory and bp tools and nothing happens with any of them. I know at one point I got somewhere (hours of trying adn I no longer know all of what I have tried) where i had an option to format and recover or something like that. Yes i tried it and got nowhere. Yes go ahead and say I am in idiot because at this point I agree with you!!
When i power it on now I get the following screen - black background with white text:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
10.9B(*) (sha-1e9f557, 2013-05-25 01:04:26)
eMMC Info:Size 16gb
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0
Battery OK
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected
Failed to hab check for boot: 0x56
Fastboot Reason: Boot Failure
Any help is greatly appreciated as my wife's phone just died and we can't afford to buy a new one so i need to get this one back up and running. Thanks anyone and everyone.
"boot load selection menu" does nothing regardless of option selected

I spent another night reading threads looking for a solution without success. I believe by now I have lost everything including the OS so I need to find instructions for how to bring it back to ANY state, factory or CM anything. When i hold all three buttons down and the screen goes dark I release the power button (Still hold down both volumes) and eventually the "boot load selection menu" comes up. None of the options do anything except go back to AP Fastboot. Can anyone please help me with instructions for what to do to fix? Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide.
Install rsd lite 6.1.6, download your ROM from sbf android, don't recall the site name exactly. Install Motorola drivers. Flash it up while in boot mode.
That's a good start.

i downloaded all the files but before I proceed let me confirm you run RSD lite from a pc with teh phone connected right? I assume once that is done my droid menus will operate and I will be able to flash it from boot mode using 4.4.2? Like i said I have never done this before so i am trying to proceed caustiously so pardon my ignorance and hesitation if you can. And thanks again if you decide to stay with me and walk me through this.
Yes from pc while 926 is connected. Just make sure you have the right ROM for ur phone. Be back in few hours. Reverify, read, and proceed. You had stock on it before, flash stock then deal with update later.

I'm sorry I had to go out of town for three days but I;m back and unfortunately lost. I have been looking for an "SBF" file to use with RSDlite but maybe I have it and just don't know it because it's not called that. I downloaded several Motorola firmware files for my XT926. Below is the list of those files but none of them have a file type of SBF. Are these the right files?
Also when I run RSDlite and connect my phone it does not show up. When i click "show device" nothing happens. I unplugged and reconnect no luck. i shut down rsdlite and restarted no luck.

Yor phone must be showing apfastboot, plus of course you must have motorola drivers installed on your pc in order for it to recognize your Droid.

ran the file using rsdlite and it decompressed apparently fine. It says for phone model "VANQUISH_CFC_IFLASH" and I don't know that is right. I have a XT926 Razr Maxx HD. My device does not show up in the device window and when I press the start button nothing appears to happen I presume because my phone does not show up in the window? Not sure how to proceed at this point?
Extract your download to a folder in your desktop. Make sure you point rsd lite to the xml file on the extracted folder. Let it do the rest. Did you download Motorola drivers?

i created a folder on my desktop, copied the file to it, ran rsdlite and it decompressed again (this time to that folder I assume) and i then selected the xml file. no device shows up yet and select the show device button does nothing. i then press start and again it seems to do nothing. the file properties box is filled in with info such as file name creation date size version etc. so that looks good. To me it appears to not be able t find the phone to run it on. the phone is in the AP Fastboot Flash mode screen - is this the correct place for the phone to be at?
also i have not downloaded drivers yet. I have downloaded some files based on other threads such as build files, somethign KITKAT, latest CM build from 20140918 and who knows what else at this point. I hae not used anything yet other than the xml you are having me try to run.

Failed the flash. Info is as follows
Model= Fastboot Vanquish S
Port=1
Port type - USB
IME/ESN/MEID=n/a
Status = Failed flashing process. 2/29 flash sbl1 "sbl1.mbn"-> Phone returned FAIL
Result-Fail
There is a work around. What s the 2/29 on rsd lite say exactly?
---------- Post added at 04:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:25 PM ----------
The xml file needs editing. But need to Know the exact error. Xml gets edited by note pad. Easy process

opened the file in notebook
found the line that mentioend sb1 adn i deleted it all leaving only the <>
selected "save as" and the file type option was text file
opened rsdlite again and when I selected the modified file box pops up saying ?PLease check input file. Either XML format is wrong or image files asociated with it are missing"
went back in and got rid of the open and close carrots and re-ran rsdlite
ran longer and i got a few beep tones but still failed.
this time it says
Failed Flashing process. 10/28 flash partition "gpt_main0.bin" - > Phone returned FAIL
