no back button but short presses of volume up button........ when it asks for fone to connect......

Download new Flashtool v. here , install, go to the drivers folder and install Xperia go and flash and fastboot drivers.
Download Xperia go ftf file and place ftf file in Flashtool/firmwares folder.
Open flashtool. Click lightning bolt and select flash mode. Select the ftf file .
Press start ,then it will ask for the phone. Ignore the picture. Hold volume down while plugging in and off it should go. At the end it'll say device connected in flash mode. Unplug. Reboot.

did you unlock bootloader?
did you flash naa v5 kernel?
everything is explained in the first page of minicm thread..
if you think you are not able to do that please revert to stock via repair option in sony-ericsson pc companion software

THANKS,i have try it,but the step of press back key and plug usb have problem,because i can't power off the phone,any solution?

you can power off the phone by pressing and holding simultaneously back and power button until it reboots (equivalent to power off), when the screen goes blank release and press and keep back button pressed
@eritang: You can repair it with PC Companion and go back to stock firmware for short. Use under support the repair phone function. It's a little bit problematic to find the phone when it reboots all the time.
Press home button (middle), back button (right) and power button at the same time. Your device is shutting down completly.
You will be asked to connect your device for flashing ...
Press power to turn it on and fast after that the back button (hold) and insert the usb cable. Then, you're in flashmode.
After flashing, restart your device and be happy

P.S.: You can try to install the custom rom this time correctly. I can give you some help !!!
P.P.S.: My E10i is running fine with nAa Kernel 05 & miniCM7-2.1.3 ^^

Sorry,i use flash tool sucessful,power on now no show sonyericsion just reboot,help
use SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service),when phone reboot,klik and hold back button 30 sec.SEUS download oryginal firmware and flash your phone

but update service said my software most update,no update
now i use flash tools show this error,i have not unlock bootloader?i try method to unlock but still not work,and now power on x10i just blank screen,no sony ericssion now,please helpthank you
Why not using PC Companion with phone repair function? Look under "support". Reflash the stock firmware and your device will be working ;-) After that, you can try all other things

take off the battery for 30s and put your finger on back button and attach the usb try and replay
This is strange.
there are different buttons for both.
back key for flashmode and menu key for fastboot. are you sure you hold the back key?

For flashmode mode, we have to hold the back key..
And for fastboot mode, we have to hold the menu key..
This is the correct way!

Flashtool even have some nice animations on how to do it
I installed today cwm touch and installed thebrains rom and the phone boots but when i try to swipe to unlock phone reboots...
Now i lost the cwm i cant re-install and flash tool dont detect the phone...
can anyone help plz?:crying:

Just open flashtool
Press thunder icon
Select ftf
And press flash
Flashtool will ask u to connect ur device now
( keep ur device switched off)
Now press volume Down button and hold it while attaching to usb
Flashing will start

problem fixed with USBFlash driver but thanks for reply now using aokp next i will try unlock the bootloader to instal cm9

Now i did a mistake. I flashed boot.img which is provided with that ROM.
But the problem is that i flashed it via flashtool and i selected "Select kernel to flash" option in flashtool.
Now when i hold power button the phone screen start but nothing appears on screen. Only black screen appears.
Also i won't go into fastboot mode when i hold the vol up button and insert usb cable.
Please help me out.

i extracted kernal.sin from xperia J jb firmware nd flashed it on my xperia sola.
After that my mobile stoped reponding. even it not connecting to flashtool.
but if press powerkey + volume key i can feel the vibration. but nothing is happening
please help me to recover my mobilethanks in advance

if does not works

reinsert
try connecting in fastboot mode to flash correct kernel

then i flased a valid kernel
