only red led from charger appears, anyone knows what to do?
could i throw it at an DOA since i recieved it yesterday? so they wont charge me?
Regards, Sidle
It's hard to brick your phone in a way that you can not flash stock ROM in Flashtool.
Follow the instructions and everything should be fine.

Turn off the phone by holding the power+vol up and vol down button together until vibrate 3 times....
Then flashmode the phone to flash stock ftf

I can't easily find instructions to paste it here because I'm typing from tapatalk.
But, you need to open Flashtool and click on flash icon. Then, you should choose Flashmode and select the ROM you want to flash. After that, when flashing is started, Flashtool will prompt you to connect your phone. You should do that like this:
Turn your phone down.
Connect USB cable to PC.
Hold volume down and then connect cable to phone.
Green LED should turn on and flashing will resume.

From looking at what you have gone through, i think its a corrupted kernel. If you can get into fast boot, try flashing another kernel.

Are u properly connecting into fastboot mode??
The proper way of getting into flashmode is switching off ur cell
Pressing volume down keep it pressed and then connecting usb (make sure flashtool is opened)
Similarly for fastboot mode is volume up pressed while connecting to pc

U r not connecting it properly
Before u connect make sure u have flashtool running
Secondly reinstall drivers for flashmode n fastboot
Well i read some advice about leaving your battery out for a few minutes and then plug in the charger, let it charge for a few hours and try again.
Can you confirm this works or has even potential of working

I wasn't even pushing any buttons just plugged in charger and after 5 seconds it went green, btw last night my drivers were fine.
i tried to flash .54 firmware via flashtool. however, flashtool pop out a notification that it cant find my phone driver and gave me a list which has all most of the sony phone except xperia go. i clicked cancel and proceed to flash as usual.
after flashing, my phone juz blank. no response at all.
i tried to hold the volume down button and connect to pc. all i get is MTP USB DEVICE with a X on it..
is there any workaround to save my bricked phone? S1 and flashtool doesnt recognize it now

the flashtool popup was a window that asks you which phones drivers to use...in this case, because the XGO isnt listed there you choose the U,Sola,P drivers. Why would you click cancel? I think you didnt know what you were doing there..........
Take the battery out.
Leave for a few seconds.
Hold down vol down
Insert battery, keep vol down pressed
Quickly jam the USB cable in.
You should get back into Flashboot.

Download new Flashtool v. here , install, go to the drivers folder and install Xperia go and flash and fastboot drivers.
Download Xperia go ftf file and place ftf file in Flashtool/firmwares folder.
Open flashtool. Click lightning bolt and select flash mode. Select the ftf file .
Press start ,then it will ask for the phone. Ignore the picture. Hold volume down while plugging in and off it should go. At the end it'll say device connected in flash mode. Unplug. Reboot.

Is the blue led still on, or is it just stuck in boot loop, or both?
Try to turn it off, long press power | volume up button untill you feel 3 consecutive vibrations.

You have to install the drivers first in order to get your phone recognized. Try pressing Vol Up + Power to shut down the phone. Hold it for 10 seconds and then enter fastboot mode and flash using flashtool.

I had stock ICS first....I installed a memory_tweak which replaced the kernel and that caused the problem ...another cause maybe the phone stuck on AROMA Installer of new JB Rom.....so I had to remove battery in middle of that installer...............That's all I did

How do you tell it is in flash mode? What is flashtool reporting?
Flash mode IS what you need to flash new firmware.
