[XU] brick - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

my xperia u is bricked and bootloader unlocked, when i tried to flash stock rom it went wrong, i cant get into fastboot ir flashmode anymore,
only red led from charger appears, anyone knows what to do?
could i throw it at an DOA since i recieved it yesterday? so they wont charge me?
Regards, Sidle

It's hard to brick your phone in a way that you can not flash stock ROM in Flashtool.
Follow the instructions and everything should be fine.

Turn off the phone by holding the power+vol up and vol down button together until vibrate 3 times....
Then flashmode the phone to flash stock ftf
Sent from my xperia sola using xda premium

I can't easily find instructions to paste it here because I'm typing from tapatalk.
But, you need to open Flashtool and click on flash icon. Then, you should choose Flashmode and select the ROM you want to flash. After that, when flashing is started, Flashtool will prompt you to connect your phone. You should do that like this:
Turn your phone down.
Connect USB cable to PC.
Hold volume down and then connect cable to phone.
Green LED should turn on and flashing will resume.

From looking at what you have gone through, i think its a corrupted kernel. If you can get into fast boot, try flashing another kernel.

Are u properly connecting into fastboot mode??
The proper way of getting into flashmode is switching off ur cell
Pressing volume down keep it pressed and then connecting usb (make sure flashtool is opened)
Similarly for fastboot mode is volume up pressed while connecting to pc

U r not connecting it properly
Before u connect make sure u have flashtool running
Secondly reinstall drivers for flashmode n fastboot

Well i read some advice about leaving your battery out for a few minutes and then plug in the charger, let it charge for a few hours and try again.
Can you confirm this works or has even potential of working

Xperia Go bootloop

The thing is my Xperia Go is stuck at bootloop and i cant access anything.. no CWM, no entering fastboot and computer doesnt seem to recognize it at all. It only goes up to SONY logo, stays there a while and then blanks the screen just to do it all over again.
It started when i flashed my phone with new kernel.
Any ideas of what should i do now?
All help will be appreciated im new to this.
Install Flashtool, then go the drivers folder in Flashtool, and install your drivers (Including the Fastboot & Flashmode drivers)
Then, turn off your phone. Select the Stock FTF from Flashtool and click Flash
Then, when it asks you connect the phone, Holding Down the Volume Down Key, connect the usb cable to phone (It should already have been connected to pc before connecting to phone)
Wait 2 seconds and a green light comes on.. Then wait a few minutes and your phone will be back to normal

I have done all that and did it again just to be sure.. atfer green light comes on it changes to red in few sec and my phone shows SONY for 1/4 min and then shuts off while charging. i have tried to enter fastboot mode too but the same thing happens.. correct led colour few secs and then logo and off.
This seems like a hardbrick although flashing a custom kernel shouldnt have caused that issue.. Did you do the cable connecting in the exact order I said ? You might have missed that ,with any luck
Dun worry
Remove the battery if possible
If not
Switch of the phone by pressing volume us plus power key simultaneously for few seconds
Then flash official ftf via flashtool

Could you connect fastboot/flash mode on the PC you are using now before it happen?
Ok, here it goes...
You know? The same exact thing happened to me, I'll tell you the solution. (yeah, sound like a TV commercial)
Power off the phone by pressing and holding the Power and Volume up buttons, when it vibrates three times release.
Now you have to turn it on in fastboot mode, connect the phone to the computer, press the power and vol up buttons, after two seconds release the power button and you have the blue led, always hold the up button.
Now at this time you need to be fast as ****, because you need to flash the boot.iso kernel in the .zip, if your phone is recognized by flashtool, obviously.
When you have the kernel flashed then reboot the phone and hold the vol up button when the led of many colors blinks, and hell yeah, we are on CWM. At this step, you have to do the same procedure as you did, but be careful this time. If something happens just tell me.
Don't forget to format the system.

yes do as said on above post. it couldnt be a hard brick. AFAIK hard bricks only occur if you flash something not meant for your device. except in Z series.

You had fastboot/flash mode working before and now they don't?
Do you feel the 3 vibrations?
Is it charging when pluged to cahrger when off, or even with sony logo?

I don't understand?! I can't go in flashboot mode, how can I flash with stock firmware ? and does stock firmware means the factory one?
if the led is turning green it means you can. but if you dont immeadiately flash stock firmware. it will boot. so you need to prepare stock ftf firmware for your device, choose it, wait for flashtool to tell you to connect your phone in flashmode. then connect your phone in flashmode

Yes it's a problem, but I've seen a few that have managed to fix it by disconnecting the battery.

Nope, u need to open it and disconnect it
You dont need disconnect anything. Your phone is not bricked, its working. The only problem is your drivers, you have to manage install them and it will work. This has been here thousand times.
