my phone is china 4.1.2,i want to install hashcode's cm10.1,i install it to rom-slot1,but can't boot ,so i thk is the rom&kernel's problem

I have a Asia retail Razr xt910(GSM) and I have flashed a EU ROM ... my point is as long as your Netowrk and Data are working ( apart from the main functions of course) I guess u must be OK with it right?

I am having sms issues in thas eu version thatsy i wanted to switch... Sms were working fine for me in asiaretail rom after update...

Ok, just try GoSms from Play store before you flash back to Asiaretail..
You need to get your AsiaRetail fastboot files and flash it in the same manner you did for eu .. make sure you get the correct version (CDMA/UMTS)
Advice : You can use recoveries like Bootmenu or Safestrap that allows you to keep your stock safe while u can play with other ROM's on another partition if you plan to use custom roms

its done !! it went flawlessly !! the version changed from XXDLID to XXELL4 !!
and i rooted my phone again !! all is working fine !!
the new features are great !!

then uncheck "Get Coupons exactly when you need ...." and press download

I have a MyPhone A888 and it is version 4.0.4. My question is, can I install a custom rom that is 4.1.2? You can install any rom of any version you want but it MUST be for your exact device.

Yes. The version doesn't matter. You can be sure to install a ROM for YOUR device (if not you can get a hard-brick and this is not good...).
Remember to do FULL WIPE when you change version.
Any other doubts just tell me

If you're still on 4.0.4, you can flash retail.eu 4.0.4 fastboot and ota to 4.1.2 of retail.au.

Then you'll need to root and install safestrap and flash ArtMod 4.3.1 here. It has russian locale and is nicely optimized.
I want the phone to stay stock, without safestrap/bmm/root etc'
I'll try to switch from en.gb to en.au, should work, cdt version 7 on both.

There's no 4.1.2 retail.au fastboot. You can't flash 4.0.4 retail.au fastboot. Do whatever you want. I'm out !

Any asia one. But not eastern like chineese. Any europeans firmware does not have RU lang, it is obvious.
