the battery calibration doesn't work....
So just charge your fone normally....
for wiping battery starts you will need CWM and you must be rooted......

sir.i already chrge long time.but doens't work,im rooted.how can i install clockworldmode?through flashtool?and how?tnx for answer

I really dont understand your problem...
What ROM are you using?
What are you trying to do?
Why do you calibrate your battery, this process is useless?
If you are rooted you can install CWM on locked bootlodaer if your is locked or for unlocked bootloader if your is ulocked (just check the section for your phone)

use this for installing CWM and then wipe battery stats........
if this does not help then flash stock using flashtool.......

Turn off phone completely then charge(in off mode)2hours and then turn on your phone...you should see the battery is gain like normal...
Also dont try to on the phone if it automatically turned off because of 0% battery but charge for 30 minute in off mode and on the phone then resume charge like normal....

Problem with flashing ka17

I tried to flash KA17 on my neo and it hit 31% and stopped there for like three hours.. I disconnected it and started again but it hit 28% and then it said that my device is disconnected.. I thought it might be because my battery is low but when I connect it, it turns on and off and it shows a picture that had a phone and and exclamation mark If anyone knows how to help me I'd be really grateful..
Are you flashing ka17 with flashtool?
asd
Yes, I'm using flashtool..
What did you expect, now go and read all the sticky threads so you learn how to correctly do things without killing your phone
Sent from my MT11i using Tapatalk
is the exclamation mark in pc or phone?
asd
It's on the phone.. I tried to flash it again and that's what it showed:
03/042/2012 17:42:09 - INFO - Start Flashing
03/042/2012 17:42:09 - INFO - Flashing loader
03/042/2012 17:42:12 - INFO - Loader : S1_Loader_Root_773f - Version : R4A066 / Bootloader status : ROOTED

The exclamation mark is the default when it cant boot, use pcc or flashtool to repair with a fill flash, then start again with the right tools, most custom Rom install from recovery.
Repair, root, cwm, then flash ka17

Okay, I'll try later because I have to go out now I'll report what happened later! But could it be because my phone has low battery?

Sola battery drain

Hello,
Sorry, another battery thread.
Got Sola 3 days ago and updated to ICS .54 build.
Everything is fine, but battery. Losing 1% in a few minutes just checking settings. Heck, I tried using it with charger on, it dries quicker then it charges it. I have wi-fi off, 3G off, bluetooth off, screen brightness is set to manual at around 10%, saving stanby is on, no antivirus or anything like that.
Is that normal? I've seen people have days on battery, not hours lol. This is my first android, so maybe I'm missing something there, I don't know.
Any suggestions?
Its strange imo. Its good to try repair with SEUS or do a factory reset and try again.
The other thing is if you installed some 3th party app which cause the drain.
Maybe your battery is not calibrated properly. Try to download Battery Calibrate Pro app and calibrate the battery.

May be there's some problem with your battery stats, just root your phone and follow this:

3. IMPORTANT. Remove CHARGER first.
3. IMMEDIATELY hit "Battery Calibration" (1 or 2 seconds delay is fine, wait for BATTERY voltage to drop and be stable)
4. Use your phone normally (don't charge in between) till it hits 1%.
5. Then charge your phone UNINTERRUPTED (leave it for charging all night) till 100%.
6. Unplug and start using. You should be having as little as 2-3% battery drain for 6-8 hours of IDLING now. That's the optimization of a calibrated battery.
ENJOY! Hope this helps!

I tried rooting yesterday for other purposes. Followed instructions in this forum. It didn't work "mount: permission denied (are you root?)" . I checked with Root checker and it said it wasn't rooted.
I don't want to unlock boot loader because that would void my two year warranty.

Which firmare r u using?I assume you are on ICS and it seems you have turned USB debugging off,ON it in the settings->developer options->USB debugging mode and then try rooting.
If you are on .54 firmware,first flash .10 kernel->root using binary's method->flash .54 kernel.
You don't need bootloader to be unlocked for rooting.

ICS .54 . I turned USB debug on then I tried rooting. But it wasn't binary's method, so maybe that was the problem. Anyway, I won't root it just yet. Maybe I can get around it.

Dont be afraid of root, it will just give you administrator access to your system, let's say...
Then you can manage phone yourself, if you remove uneccessary apps and maybe calibrate the battery it will be ok.

You first have to flash .10 kernel then root it..54 kernel does'nt allow rooting AFAIK,then after rooting you can revert back by flashing .54 kernel.
Here's the rooting tool by binary:Click
So far so good.
-Made a backup with Sony PC Companion
-Made backup of ICS firmware
-Flashed .10 kernel
-Rooted
-Just to be safe, currently running backup with Titanium Backup
-Deleted some junk apps, though there wasn't many.
-My phone is not charging up fast enough if I'm using it.

I mean the apps which u have 'removed' by using this script can be 'unremoved'.
i'm quoting these because i believe that the script changes the extension from .apk to some other extension such as .bak etc such that the app can remain present on the system but it will not run therefore 'removing' them.
And by undo i mean changing extension back to .apk such that they can again continue to work.
But that's just my belief,i've never used it but you can give it a go.
Hope this helps.

Fingerprint sensor wakelock?

Hi,
So I've been having battery drain problems, especially when the screen is off... I installed better battery stats, gsam battery lab and wakelock detector lite to try and find why this is happening.. It looks like my phone never sleeps... I think this might be because of a fingerprint sensor wakelock (fpc1020_intr)? I dropped my phone and the sensor doesn't work anymore... and I think the battery drain started to happen at that point. Why would it cause my phone to stay awake all the time?
Can someone help me find a solution or understand what is happening? I unlocked battery.stats with ADB but my phone is not rooted. I uninstalled the fingerprint program from my phone with ADB and it seemed to work for a couple of hours but now the battery drain is back...
I'm not an expert so please be patient thank you for your help! I included some screencaps with more information. (Seems like the images don't show up?!)

Do you think there's a chance this will solve the problem? Why would the sensor make my phone stay awake? Could this potentially be a "mechanical" problem (when my phone fell it disconnected or broke something?)

Is there a reason the ROM would bug out of nowhere? And make the fingerprint sensor keep the phone awake all the time? I will try and factory reset and if it doesn't work I'll try and flash a new ROM. (I wanted to avoid all that but I guess I have no choice .. I lost 18% in 2 hours with the screen off..)
Do you have any link to a good ROM that doesn't require the phone to be rooted?

Dont be stupid. U need to unlock bootloader inorder to install custom rom. There is no shortcut.
U can officially unlock ur phone using Miunlock tool.
Installing custom recovery and installing custom rom 9.0 doesnt mean device is rooted.
I m on custom rom. But my phone is not rooted. Rooting is diffrent thing.

Ok, sorry for that, I'm new to this.
I will unlock bootloader and flash a new ROM to see if this solves the problem.
I flashed Aosp xtended Pie ROM, the battery life seems better, I haven't had that much time to monitor it..
But the camera and Google Photo app keeps crashing... Any idea why?

U must do format data in twrp.
Click wipe
Click Format data
Type yes to format
This will decrypt and erase internal sd .
Then reboot.
Camera will work then.

I installed stock version but I erased everything and now I have micro version. It works now! Seems like the fingerprint wakelock is gone! The battery life is still not great but maybe it's normal after a while..
