stuck in boot loop after replacing screen - HTC EVO 3D

i just replaced my screen in my evo 3d for the second time after getting a faulty replacement and not i seem to be stuck in a boot loop. i had it booting 100% fine before i put in the new screen so i have no idea whats wrong with it. i grounded myself for the whole process so i really dont think i fried anything and i was careful with reassembling it as usual. but now it just gets stuck at the white htc screen ive tried flashing it with fast boot, and ive tried flashing it with the ruu which installed completly but its still stuck in the loop is there anything else i can try.

Is the screen from HTC or some cheap China knock off brand?

its a screen i got out of another evo 3d that wouldnt power on

I am experiecing the exact same issue 1.40 hboot, s-off revoloutionary... Phone was fine aside from the digitizer touching itself randomly. Just replaced screen and can only get into bootloader, otherwise just bootloop. Have 4ext recovery, can not boot into it.

Can you flash pg86img's?
Maybe you should try the ruu

Suggested ruu? I have not flashed one ever.

I am changing back to my old screen to see if its just something crazy with the replacement used one I got. I also tried flashing the boot.img from the rom I am running with no success. Will post back after swapping old screen back in.

It is booting...WTH... Is it a potential driver mismatch with my old radio and hboot version, or is this screen just a piece of crap?

nah , but i'm still looking for a answer though . Thanks for helping .
just do another "tituatam backup" and it should "viberate" harder so that your phone falls of your desk, and softbreaks enabling you to reflash the rom. Your welcome.

Im still trying to get over that signature......maybe if you do another "tituatam backup" while holding your home button it will remember to back that up too...
i agree, def another tititatitiiatuuuam backup. Get the new version too. If he only spent as much time thinking about what he types, he might get worthwhile responses.

Any risk of damaging device trying the S-off method?

Can you damage the device at all doing this? Also if I do this, and it went wrong, would I have to RUU again? Another question, I am on the stock ICS OTA and its rooted, is that where I need to be to do this?
It is possible but you have to be pretty stupid to mess it up. Just touch the pins that it says to. It might take awhile to get the timing right but you should have no issues

Well it's not so much that I don't think I could do it, I just wondered if there is any risk. If you do mess up, I am guessing you would have to RUU right?
Stock rooted is the best possible place to be when doing it. Just use an insulated wire and you'll be fine. As for the timing, I've had the best luck basically just machine-gunning it. When I actually wait the 1.75 seconds, it never seems to work.

No. Just pull up the troubleshooting page at unlimited.io and close to the bottom they have recovery steps. Just follow them and you'll be right back where you were.
EDIT: One more thing...back up your external SD card. It's supposed to restore it, but it's only been about 50% successful for me.

as long as you only connect the two circuits it tells you too all will be fine.. i helped someone who was nervous about hitting the other circuits so i had him cover the ones you dont want to touch with electrical tape if your that worried about. but all will be well if you follow instructions. the wire trick is a crucial part of the control bear procedure..
I actually screwed mine up because I didn't realize I was touching Pin1 to the pin above GND, I started it correctly but since it took a lot of attempts I forgot which pin I was using. It didn't immediately screw up anything but I found that my data connection was constantly dropping out, even when I went back to stock and S-On'd. I brought it into Verizon and they suggested a factory reset, which I said I had done multiple times and then they said they didn't know what else to do so I got a new one
There is no risk on the software side in the actual s-off process that I know of.
The only other risk would be physically damaging the phone.
Someone pressed to hard with the wire and damaged the pins on the motherboard.

Phone may be bricked, need help

I've been running cm10 for the past week or more. Last night phone powered off randomly, and when restarted came up with message saying the modem won't power on, starting rsd protocol, battery too low to flash. its been plugged in all night and says the same thing. ive factory reset in recovery mode, that didnt work. obviously cant sbf because the phone thinks the batt is dead. ??? phone wont turn on at all unless plugged into the wall
can you get into recovery? if so, it charges while in recovery.

Serious problems with LG K7

So I recently got a new LG K7. So being a complete idiot I did not back up my phone, then I proceeded to root it with kingroot then because it only has 8gb of storage I thought "well I really want to get GTA SA on my phone so ill just delete a couple of things in there to make it work." So I deleted a ton of Google play stuff and when I realized I would not be able to accomplish my goal I found out I messed up Google play for good. Fine I said I'll just factory reset. But when I factory reseted it would so the normal checking for connection thing except that it never ends (i left it sitting like that for a full 24 hours) so... yeah... my phone is basically screwed up. I took it to Tmobile to see if they could help but they pointed me here so now I'm just seeing if any of you can help. Thanks -Daniel
So since you messed up one of the valuable components of Google services, the Only option you have is to flash your firmware to the default firmware of your phone. Hope that helps!
Did you find the stock firmware? Did you also try to reflash gapps
