[Q] Is the Display Waterproof ? - Sony Tablet S

Hello Folks,
today i become my protective film for the XTS. But it was dirty so i have washed it with detergents. I put the film on the display and rubbed with a VISA Card the water bubbles to the sides. Was that dangerous ?. The film looks clean now without any bubbles. Okey just rly small bubbles but I hope that goes away with the time.

[Q] Galaxy S2 Camera Lens

Hey all,
Does anyone here have any tips to protect the camera lens of this phone? It sticks out the back a little and I'm afraid it will get scratched over time. Is that too made of gorilla glass, is it scratch resistant? Or should i go for a case.
Problem with the case is that dust is getting accumulated between Bezel and screen and i hate it.
I have some scratches on the lens, but haven't noticed any affect of that in photos.
But if you want not to scratch it more, then either you have to put a protective scratch guard, you can see Martinfield website for that OR you have to use a case which will cover the lens from scratch when you place it on a flat hard surface. You can use a good case for that, like- CM Tough, Pop, SGP Neo etc., but those cases as you said will keep the dust inside the bezel and the case. If you don't like that, then you have to use a Flip Top cover, some leather good ones are available like, SGP Argos, Zenus Prestige Carbon etc.
Regards.

thanks Bro.
I have just thinking about that yesterday. I am afraid that it could get scratch while dragging the phone off the table or some other surface...
My idea: buy very cheap screen protector (1 €/$), cut it and place it on the camera lens. I will do that as soon as I buy one.

for those who removed the antishatter film ( to solve fingerprint problem )

hello everyone, for those who removed the anti shatter film some said that the glass feeling feels awesome but it becomes more prone to fingerprints,so did anyone try the olephobic solution kit by fusso which is found on ebay, maybe this will help in getting over the fingerprint problem

If it were me i'd apply a screen protector over the front immediately after removing the ASF.
I should been taking a break and calm down but I attempted to apply my screen protector right after and held my knife in the other hand from removing the shatterproof sheet and accidently scratched the film..
Now I just keep a microfiber dust cloth nearby and clean the glass of every night until I put something on there.

what is the best way to install screen protectors

hello guys
I got a new screen protector and I threw away the old one as I could not install it without having dust accumulating leading to bubbles.
So what is the best method as I don't want to throw away more money on screen protectors, please describe the best way.

I use water.
- put the device under a tap, (washing away all dust)
- then place the screen protector ontop of the screen (with a bit of water present)
-reapply until its perfect.
-use credit card or similar card to squeeze water bubbles out.
-other excess water will evaporate... (between 2-5 days)
A steamy shower room helps keep the dust at bay for another day.
First clear big dust by water and towel.
For small dust or silk, fur...on screen or screen protector, use a piece of sticky tape: just put it on the dust and quickly lift it out.

[Ceramic version] Polishing scratches on back?

Hi,
Unfortunately ceramic version also get scratches. After over year of using I've got some really ugly, big scratches on ceramic back.
I wonder if it is possible to polish back surface? Does anyone tried?
I have some experience with polishing car parts, but it's totally different item.
How do you think? Is is possible to polish ceramic? Or maybe I will get only worse...
Hello . Tbh I'm not sure what I would do. As it is a phone. How ever! It is possible to get scratches out of ceramic.
Take the back of (if you can)
mark with chalk all the scratches easy to wipe off.
get a bowl or something filled with nice hot water not to hot though you got a stick you hand in. Make it warm. Shuv some dishwasher liquid in. Good quality. Like fairy liquid or something.
CLEAN THEM SCRATCHES!
then wipe up the scratches and dry up with a clean cloth. One that doesn't leave bobbles or rubbish.
Put a small bit of brass polisher on a clean, soft cloth. Apparently tooth paste or vinagre works, but not tried it. Rub the product into the scratches and all the edges, like your wax a car. Circle Circle circles keep doing it. Eventually the scratches should no longer be visible.
you can stop there although when I did my bathroom tiles I used some car wax just to protect the areas.
I hope this helps. . Don't run at me with knives and lemons if it ruins your phone please xD this works on real ceramic....
Hope I assisted .
Mine with more or less one year old have no scratches in ceramic, only on the aluminium(?) edge and some light scratches in front glass. I have used it almost all time withou a case. !!!!

S9+ scratch on screen ! Buy tempered glass ?

So i bought a new S9 plus device a couple of days ago and a little bit earlier I noticed one 1 mm scratch on my display. It is hairline thin and it creates a "nice" rainbow effect when on a white background and when watching at it at a 80-100 degree angle. I hope you know what I mean. It is really really small and thin and cant really be seen on a black screen, only when directly at the sun at a weird angle. My question is: Can a tempered glass protector hide the scratch and remove the rainbow effect ? How can I get over this stupid scratch even though i babysitted this phone like hell. Can that scratch be hidden in any way.
you cannot remove the scratch unfortunately, you can only replace the screen or try to hide it by installing the whitestone dome screen protector, which is applied using LOCA glue
that tends to hide small scratches on the screen
