My campus wireless has same authentication method and works fine with cm 10.1. Your problem can be due to some missing certificates. Ask to network administrator

I don't have problem with Eduroam on Mwakious ROM. Did you try another ROM?

Same ROM, same security and it's working for me. Try to use a certificate as the other users say and try with other devices. As last instance, wipe all (system, caché, dalvik and data) and reinstall the ROM.

I had no problems with eduroam on few different jb roms in VU nor VGTU.
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda app-developers app

we dont have certificates to download :-/ btw access point look like wep crypted but it is eduroam radius. There were no problem with official ics + htc sense and no problem with viper3d (sense4.1) rom.

[Q] How to set up ad-hoc on Cyanogen 9 (ICS)

I'm using Cyanogen 9 alpha 3 on my Folio 100 and i think it's the best rom ever!
I need to use it with my nokia x6 hotspot which needs an ad-hoc connection to work.
Using wifi analyzer I can see the SSID, but (ofc) i can't connect to it because "my android device is still not supporting ad-hoc connections!".
I've tried to get it working with the following tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1438297
Unfrotunately I think the wp_supplicant file suggested is not appropriate for the Folio100, it is not working at all.
Any ideas or suggestions?
I need your help
Thanks.
I don't think there is any official solution for Ad-hoc ICS yet.
But i was searching for the same thing for my SGS2 and here is what i found
1) This Tool
2) This thread for HTC Sensation
3) And this thread too for the HTC Sensation
I didn't try any of them, so you are free to try!
Good Luck!

Hmm... CM10 by scritch007 worked for me on my XPERIA X10i when I tried it on an earlier version.
You'll still be using 802.11g, as 802.11n is not supported. Of interest I noted channels 12-13 are supported too, for countries that allows these channels. Maybe even 14 in Japan.
Did you attempt to connect to your AP in the initial connection wizard, before you had a chance to 'modify' your system and/or install additional software?
There is a Scritch007 CM10 forum post in the General section that may be able to assist you with known WiFi issues with a given version of CM10.

[Q] Renovate Final 3 Rom - WIFI and TCP troubles

Hi, maybe this is not right place for such post, but for now until i have posted 8 messages I'm unable to post in other threads, i think so.
A few days ago i have moved from stock rooted rom to Renovate Final 3. The reason was simple - i need OTG cable working. I prefered this rom because the reviews and benchmarks was quite good (Quadrant 7000+ in comparison with 5000+ on old ROM). Also i like blue theme.
The roubles i noticed staight after installation. Wifi signal was very weak in comparison with previews ROM. I diggend inside advanced wifi settings and found opion "Best Wi-Fi performance" and switched it on. This helped but not so much.
Other troubles i faced with when I've set u PPTP vpn connection. It connecting without problems but doesn't work at all.
After this i've installed terminal emulator from the market ran ping yahoo.com . no problem. then i ran ping 127.0.0.1 - loss 100%
ping my wifi ip adress - the same issue - loss 100%. what it could be ? some kind of internal firewall that block my local icmp echo requests or what? I have twice full - formatted all partitions, full-wiped my One x, and reinstalled Renovate rom, but the issue still the same. I think something wrong with this kernel or rom? Does anyone faced the same problems? What suggestions will be?
Kind regards,
Greg

What ROM supports 802.1x PEAP (if any) ?

Trying to connect to my corp network and having no luck. I've tried a couple of the advanced wifi editors, tried hacking my wpa_supplicant, but still no joy.
Tried bog standard Touchwiz, Android HD v24,25 and 30, Paranoid Android 3.15, Cyanogen 10.1 ............
Anybody got a suggestion of a ROM that supports 802.1X out of the box?
Note I do have to put in a Windows domain/user which may be another factor that's making it harder.
Oh and my Nexus 7 running PA 3.5 works.....
(or assistance to get my Android Revolution HD v25 working )
Thanks in advanced.
isn't the WiFi protocol more a kernel & hardware related issue then a ROM related one?

EAP-SIM Support on Custom ROM?

Hello! Here in Singapore, there are multiple public WiFi networks that require EAP-SIM Authentication to connect to. Are there any ROMs that support this? Some ROMs I've tried have it listed under PEAP Method when the pop-up to connect to a network shows up, but then is unable to connect and "Authentication Problem" is shown.
Thanks in advance!

Yeap, from what I understand, CM doesn't support EAP-SIM at all. The only ROM that I managed to successfully connect with was OxygenOS, but I'm not exactly a fan of that ROM.
H2OS ROM also supports EAP.
Dead Cookies leave no trails...
I am Singapore. Whats that? Lol
Can provide more details? Then i try for u. I am using Sultan CM13.
