What's the point? If you want a perfect Sense experience, get yourself a HOX. They should be cheap enough these days. The HOX will also get Sense 5.
http://products.ebay.in/HTC-One-X/?_nkw=HTC-One-X&_trksid=p2041977
I see one for as low as 23795 INR.
First question
Well guys , the progress is kindda of slow here since no body is working with me on it .....
I'm still trying with the htc sense 4.1.
System ui errors are killing me ,, I believe the system ui needs to be de/recompiled to fix the errors.
Video is not working and I think libmedia.so and libstagefright.so need to be patched somehow ,,, no clue.
Wireless will work only if libhardware_legacy.so is patched correctly ,,, haven't got success in doing that.
My only question why the hell the system ui errors are not present in JB roms while they are really troublesome in ics roms ?!!!!

I would love to have sense here also, but I am afraid I can't help more than tell you to keep up your efforts
Sense is the best ui experience for me but s3 is the best phone... no perfect combination I'm afraid. ...

I would also like to see full sense on my phone for the same reasons as above samsungs hardware for example screen, battery, proccesors, camera.. where as htc just have sense which I miss.
I cannot help with the dev of tgis as I would probably make things worse but would definatly be a user of this rom if the wifi and video were fixed

I wouldn't mind a checking out a sense ROM, but because its not designed to work with exynos it could be hard to port.
However we do have a sense ROM called Sense 4 all, that didn't last long (I don't even think it got an update) maybe you could contact the dev for his sources as I understand sense 4 all is booting but not much works so still plenty of deving for you.
Unfortunately I'm not a dev and I can't test it before it at least has GSM and 3g working because I don't have a spare phone but I do wish you the best of luck with this project

I have contacted to few developers if they could help and i'm also ready help by myself as much as i can!

The Devs decide if they want not if you want and basically do not read question and answers pages.
As their have already been multiple sense posts suggest you read them and see if any progress or actual devs are responding .

And before that you could've first given us more info regarding your problem (like what ROM are you using, etc.) and you could've also realized that the dev forums are not for asking questions or asking for help, you could've also had some more respect regarding the devs that give you ROMs for free and devote their personal time in order for you to have working and stable ROMs for your phone.
After that, could you give us some more info regarding your problem??
Oh k sorry for everything

Ok, before I ask this question, I would just like to say, please do not respond to this thread with comments such as "It's illegal" or "No, because there are copyrights". I am NOT interested in legislation thank you.
Also, I would like to add that this is not a repeat thread. Nobody seems to have answered the question fully.
Ok,
Has anyone made any progress porting HTC Sense to the SGA?
I know fla.sh was making a framework theme but I am unaware of an actual port (if at all). I already have the LP Sense UI and it's brilliant, but it is only a theme after all.
I don't believe this is an impossible task as Sense has been ported to various other non-HTC devices.
Thanks guys =)
And my apologies if it seems like opening paragraph is somewhat rude...

Hi guys .
Sorry if I do post not in the right place but, I would like to know if a Miui rom is planned for the Galaxy S3 on the part of Xiaomi or by a developer on XDA?
Thanks for your response .

I'm sure it will follow soon. I, for myself, never liked it.
Posting in Q&A section will help you more. Also questions like this are kinda dumb cuz no one knows answers to it. Google is your friend here.

this thread will definitely get moved
I have googled around...
MIUI Scotland posted a message on twitter a few days ago, saying they were basically working on the SGS3 version of MIUI.
There's also a dev attempting to port MIUI based on a thread which is called "how to port MIUI to your device".... but don't think he has got very far yet...
Aside from that, there is absolutely no news otherwise.
Sorry I can't link you up just now (tired...)
rest assured it's on it's way.. just takes time unfortunately.
Sorry for my post was not in the right place, Mardos and Ceo.mtcl
Stupid Question, not as long as it a portage would perhaps could be possible, I well see the responses of the section...
Thank you for your response, friends
If a moderator that passes by, can move in the appropriate section, I thank him in advance.
This is a very good news (for Miui on the GS3) and an excellent response, thanks much for this information, Kikassdave :victory: !!!
There is no problem, Kikassdave, you gave me lot of information and damage that it takes time, unfortunately...

Really? We don't need this kind of attitude. MIUI isn't just about the iphone-ish UI. You can just change the launcher if you don't like it. Most that wants it look for it's functionality and ease of use. Cyanogenmod might as well have those features also, but to each his own. This is what android is all about anyway; the option to choose if need be.
OP is asking a question, and instead of berating him, either help him out, or keep quiet if there is nothing to contribute.
MIUI is the best looking rom and on my SG2 the most stabile rom too. I could by a phone depending if its a miui rom for it or not.
Actually it's on its way very soon trust me

It's amaze me hw people talk about "this room is the most stable". Even with custom rom (exept CM7 alpha on my sgs) i never had any "random reboot" or "unexpected crash".
Anyway, i dont like MIUI style, but it's what android is all about (for us anyway) choice, if some user like it, why not.
Hey all.
I know this is a bit of a stupid question i guess, but i am not very knowledgable with roots/stocks or any other term you use. But ill ask anyway,
I am considering messing around with my S3, i am thinking about seeing if i can install a clean as google intended Jelly bean OS. Is this possible? What is the best and simplest way, and what is the risk percentage? What are the cons to such a move? And lastly is it easy to revert back to normal if i dont like it or send phone back to network for fixing at any point?
I know its quite a lot to ask. But i appreciate any help i can get.
Regards,
Barry.

Barry, try CM10 or AOKP.
Better ask in Q&A next time.

I would recommend that you check out either of the roms below. I reckon that these will currently give you the closest stock android jellybean that you are after. Just get your s3 rooted and add clockwork mod recovery then wipe and flash the rom zips and gapps.

The point of their posts was to point out your mistake.
It really doesn't take much leg work on your part to answer your own question without creating this thread....
Good luck modding your s 3.
With so many different options and considering this is my first venture into messing with my s3 i thought id ask to be sure.
Thanks for making feel so welcome and empowering me and giving me confidence to ask questions when i am unsure about things. *sarcasm*

The issue was that you asked a question in the Development forum and not the Q&A forum. We run a tight ship around here. Moved your thread to correct forum.
As others have said, CM 10 is your best bet.

How long have you been reading the forum? If you have been here for any length of time you will see the same questions being asked time and time again by people that don't put any effort into finding out how to solve it themselves.
Feel free to ask questions about things, but do your research first, your question showed that you didn't do this, hence the response you got.
Putting it in the wrong forum didn't help either.
As there is almost 1xx roms out there (if not more) i wonder what you think is the best rom. you can also compare two roms, or even compare different android versions, and tell what you miss and what you don't miss. mostly there is improvement in JB and many say its the best but do everyone agree? honestly this can keep track for other members that seeks a rom they want,
Hope you understand the meaning of this thread, this is to share information so other people can take advantage of your information.
please tell what made you move from your current rom.
what makes you stay on your current rom, also what can be improved, or deleted or if its perfect as it is.
Have fun
