Hello,
I'm trying to do an hard reset for htc rhyme, but I've never seen an crazy phone like this ! when I'm doing vol- an power it refuses to enter to bootloader; and when I'm doing factory reset from setting it go to recovery, then I do a factory reset-wipe data and wipe cache, but nothing except debug mode reintialise !
When I uninstal an application it reboot and thise application reappears!
I've tried to unlock bootloader but when I have to choose "yes" to unlock, then the choice is not validated, but when I choose "no" it restarts!
Is there someone who can tell me what I can do to reset it because the phone restarts itself and sometimes there's some bugs
thank you

I also had this problem with my friends tablet, It was an alcatel tablet, I was able to access recovery mode and I wiped data but nothing happened. My friend found a hole at the back of the tablet and inserted a push pin and there it is it was wiped! Maybe there's something like a button in your device to factory reset it?
Hi all, my question prescinds from a phone particular model. The problem is that for some sort of software issue, the phone restarts itself after few seconds that rom unlock appear. I'm sure that is a sw issue because in recovery mode it stays alive and when he does the application update after a dalvik cache wipe, all goes well too!
It's not possible to enable usb debug because it restarts too soon and in recovery (cwm) it's not possible to connect via adb. It's not a rooted phone. Also in safe mode it stucks in bootloop
What i can do before a factory reset?

Click to collapse
Looks like its bootlooping ... Yes its a software issue ... I don't think u have any option other than factory reset ... Take a backup first before u do that...or perhaps u can use a logcat if u know what it is
i will try to take backup in sd card and retrieve some useful data from this.
how can i use logcat if can't connect through adb?
Hello Guys,
I have a relocked HTC One Max.
Suddenly Google play services stopped and the device always reboots every 5 minutes. After reboot, everything returns exactly as it was before the reboot. Same notifications appear, deleted files and uninstalled apps return, new files or apps disappear, everything is exactly the same. I tried to do a factory reset it goes well and the device reboots but after reboot, again, everything returns exactly as it was. I tried hard reset from bootloader same thing happens.
I tried to unlock it again. The unlock token is flashed successfully and the unlock warning appears on the screen but when I press "yes" it reboots into stock recovery. When I reboot into bootloader, it is relocked again.
So basically, I can't flash any custom ROM because it is locked, I can't flash an old RUU because I am on the latest one, I can't unlock the relocked bootloader, and I can't do a factory reset.
Any ideas about this issue? I would be really grateful and appreciate your help!
Thank you!
So I got this phone that completely stopped working as soon as you unlock it. It just gives “has stopped” messages endlessly. (example video below)
What I already tried:
Factory reset while in the settings of the phone itself
Wipe Data / Cache in fastboot mode
Tried to connect the phone on the PC and reset it threw the command line
Nothing works, it does say it has wiped the phone while in fastboot mode but when you start the phone I come back in exactly the same screen with all the data intact.
Any advice?

Nobody has a idea on what to try ?
No recovery mode you can try from, or any way to reflash the firmware?
I was attempting to root my phone, XT2113-2. Last time I did this was on a Note4 many years ago and I thought I could do it again but it's proving to be a difficult task. I got the bootloader unlocked but in an effort to install TWRP, I somehow disabled the ability to boot into recovery. I can get to the fastboot menu (power + vol down) but when I select the option to go into recovery, the phone would just boot normally. I did the usual searches online but didn't find anything and as a last ditch effort, I did a factory reset through the Settings menu. Now the phone is stuck in a bootloop: A message about the bootloader being unlocked appears, followed by the Motorola logo and then it repeats. I can get into fastboot but that's it. And to make matters worse, since I did the reset, I can't go in to turn on USB debugging.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
