I have a mugen 3600mah, and yes, after 3 times fully charge and discharge, the battery does it job. However, when charging, it never shows 100% or fully charged. Sometimes, it hits 100% and the phone led indicator turns to green, but when I use the phone while its still charging, the battery is drain. It is similar to the anker battery I have before. Does the phone has a problem, or something wrong? For example, this morning, I charge the phone through night, and it was 99% when I woke up. I used the phone to watch several youtube vid, and surf several web pages while it is charging. After done those task, I saw the phone has only 65% left.

Hi,
Got my 101 yesterday and i charged it directly on the power adapter.
I charged it like 17hours but no blinking led?
It all runs well and i think it is charged enough, anybody got the same issue?
Greets
My 70 will only blink if it is turned on while charging, otherwise it won't.
What do you mean, while it is charging or when it is done charging and turned on?
If i charge the 70 when it is turned off, it imediately turns itself on and stays on. When it has fully chrarged the led will flash. However if i put it on charge and it turns itself on, if i then turn it off and leave it charging the led never flashes when it is charged.
Modern Li-Ion battery charge regimes are complex. They will charge until full then turn off until the charge falls below a certain level, then start charging again. So if you happen to look at your device at they wrong time it might not show fully charged because it is part way through the wait cycle. This is done to prolong battery life - it stops the battery from being cooked. You can bump charge a li-on battery to get more juice it it, but that shortens battery life considerably.
Also, it is possible that your battery meter need calibrating. Every 30 days or so let your device run right down before re-charging - this should re-calibrate the meter.
Thanks
I did discover that he only blink when turned on, just what you guys telling here.
Thanks for the reactions

Somewhat same issue, battery charge light NEVER blinked, had Archos 32 for 2 weeks on 2.0.71. The charge would never reach 100%, it would stay at 99% for hours, all day, just could not find that 100% mark and switch to status "charged". When I would wait at 99% for an hour or more, when unplugged, the meter would say 100% immediately after disconnecting it. Maybe it was cycling or doing something battery related, but I doubt it in light of upgrading to fw 2.1.2 and now it charges to 100% without an issue and the power led blinks. Looks like they fixed that bug, or at least it is fixed for me now.
Does anyone have trouble with the Archos 70 not charging at all? This has happened a few times now, I've put it on charge overnight and when I check in the morning the battery is at no charge.
Has anyone noticed that their 3D drains while it is plugged in? I plug in my phone for charging. It charges completely and the LED turns green. Then it begins a slow drain (as if it weren't plugged in). I notice the behavior on system panel. It shows I have it plugged in, but my charge is slowly going down.
What's going on here? Is this normal?
I read somewhere that once it is fully charged, it stops taking juice till it drops down to 90 percent and draws juice again while still plugged in.
I think this is from the intelligent charging that most new phones have. In fact in every android phone i have had...i put it on charger at night, wake up and it shows full charge, but if i unplug and replug it will drop down to 94ish and start charging again. I believe it is a form of governor to prevent over charging and heating.
Looking at my Battery Monitor Widget information, charging overnight, the battery gets to 100%, then is allowed to drop to about 95%, then charges up to 100%, then drops, then charges, repeating the cycle between 95% to 100% until unplugged. It looks like a saw tooth pattern.

noticed this as well
I love Battery Monitor Widget Pro.
I checked my log file from over night and noticed the same pattern. Goes from 100 to 95 percent. Pretty cool.

seems HTC tweaked it since the EVO 4G, it would drop to 90 not 95. I been using that widget, too, to monitor it.
anyone notice when it starts to cycle back to 100 it stays 99% for a while longer than what would seem normal?
Is anybody having problems fully charging the battery to100 percent? I noticed the battery life has gotten worse since I owned the phone. it would always charge 100 percent. Now it only charges to about 98 percent. I made sure all active apps are turned off and running apps as well turned off. I will turn my phone off at least once a week and fully charge it overnight. I notice after doing this the battery life Is always worse.

Don't believe your battery bar...
Check the number of volts your battery has... its a much better indicator

The phones charges to 100% and then it stops charging if left on the charger. So you will lose 2% or 3% of battery power before it start charging again. This is designed to help keep the battery healthy as its usually not a good idea to leave the phone charging for long periods of time.
I charge mine until the thing on the status bars pops up indicating "full" and then remove from charger. The "full" indicator pops up about a half hour after the phone shows 100% which I find odd however... That also might be a battery health thing as they probably don't want you to charge it to absolute max, so maybe by saying 100% whens its more like 97% that it helps with battery health...

It trickle charges for a while after hitting 100%, then shuts off giving you the "unplug me" notification, drains a few %, then back to trickle charging.
In the morning if you unplug it and then plug it back in it will be fully charged in less than 30 minutes. To the full 100%.
When I first got my phone I was playing with it so much (and testing out the true battery capacity) I was often plugging it in at night with a nearly dead battery - which takes longer to fully charge overnight. So by morning it had only stopped charging an hour or two earlier so it still showed 100% for a while. Lately its been at 60-70% so by morning it has been done for 4-5 hours. So after booting it often shows 98%. No difference in battery capacity, just a longer time post-charge where it has drained a percent or two.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess it makes sense. it just seems to run down a lot faster everytime I turn the phone off and back on the next day. It must just be me

Try the unplug-then-replug routine one morning to restart the charging process. See if it is better that day. If it is, you are probably running into the same problem I talked about in my last paragraph.
I don't know if some of you have the same experience but here is my issue:
I usually charge my phone when I go to bed at night and unplug it in the morning. In the recent a few days, I woke up and found out my GS3 is 99% charged and battery status is still charging after an overnight. I have the Battery Indicator Pro app on it and it keeps the log of all the changes of the battery, so I went to the log and saw that the battery was full charged at e.g. 5:32AM at 100% and CHARGING status, then at 6:15AM it was 99% and CHARGING. So I turned off the phone, and leave it charging when its off and turned it back on after 15 minutes, after a while it showed as FULLY CHARGED at 100% .
I think it was very interesting and would like to know if it's the battery problem or the phone problem, if there is anyone have the same issue.
THANKS!!

I've had the same problem with taking my phone off the charger and found bump charging helps (remove the phone when at 100%, let it drop and then re-plug it in).
As for not charging to 100%, is there something keeping it awake? background process? Screen not shutting off? Sounds like something is keeping the phone from a sleep cycle.

My friend with a nexus s tells me that his phone fully charges at 96% so it saves that battery from over charging. idk if thats whats happening here.
Has anyone got the same problem where your L9 stop charging at 89% and start draining fast like hell, mine drop to 86 % in 2 minutes even when the charger is still connected. Battery recalibration seems didn't work. Charging while the phone is dead didn't work too. Any suggestions?
Yes, I plugged my P769 in the wall to charge at night. In the morning, it shows that the phone is 92% charged. Took the phone off the charger and didn't really use the phone much, but checked my phone about 7 hours later and it was down to 1% remaining. Charged it again last night, and it's showing 92% this morning. Seems like it does not charge after 92%. This happens only a couple of days ago, and I didn't tweak my phone in any way.
