Hi, I have some noob questions about roms, kernels, etc.: 1)once I have unlocked the bootloader and flashed a custom kernel if I flash the stock rom with Flashtools I lose the root but not the bootloader unlocked, right? 2)once done this, for flashing a custom kernel with Flashtools I need root permission? I think no, right? 3)using Flashtools can I safely flash the stock rom with the exception for kernel.sin part? In this case the custom kernel remains at his place, right? 4)but in these cases I lose the root, and I have to do the rooting process again, right? 5)some custom kernels have auto root feature... with this feature manual rooting is not necessary?

1) Yes flashing stock rom doesn't relocks ur bl.
2) Nopes all you need is an unlocked bl.
3) Neva tried
4) Nopes if you have unlocked bootloader just flash any pre-rooted kernel and ur good to go. Most of the kernels here are pre-rooted.
5) Nopes not necessary

I'm slightly confused... 2)are there then kernel not rooted? 3)then is rooting process about kernel and not rom part? Why do i read in every rom (not kernel) "Rom pre-rooted"?

After flashing a custom kernel... You phone will be rooted... So you don't need to ado any other rooting procedure then... Yes in stock ROM too
Auto root is just that all custom Kernels are pre rooted... You don't need to root separately...
The stock Kernel is not pre rooted
Rooting procedure is neither about ROM nor about Kernel... Its about Android OS... Root enables you to customize Android system...
Kernel and ROM are just its parts... Pre Rooted ROMs have superuser installed... But you must have CWM and Root to flash ROM.

No you won't lose root if u flash stock rom without the kernel. (provided u have a rooted kernel first)
For question 3... Yes you can... but if u want to really retain the kernel exclude fota and simlock too

no, usually the rom contains the root, do u mean custom kernel?
what rom are u using? stock rom go with doomlords v6
custom roms go with what the dev provides u with

Since you are using stock kernel, u can use zergrush method to root.
but if u want to flash custom roms, u need to flash custom kernel. Almost all custom kernels are pre rooted and have clockwork mod. u need to unlock your bootloader to flash custom kernels.
the superuser app get installed by default when rooted.

You need to understand a couple of things about ROMs and Kernels.
Unlocked bootloader, lets your device get into "bootloader mode", giving you the privilege to install a custom made Kernel. Some kernels (most) come prerooted, which means that no matter what Rom you install, whether it is stock, or custom or whatnot.
Root gives you the ability to read, write, and execute apps and files that are in the /system folder.
Think of it as layers of a cake. Bootloader -> Kernel -> Rom -> Root

Not only /system folder, but everything else also, that is in / folder, that is the root folder. You get access to the root folder, folder before system.

Erm, boot(or hot boot) kernel with CWM, flash zip, restart phone. Entire process for root-ing it on unlocked BL.
btw, you can't re-lock your BL by flashing custom rom, or by doing full flash with flashtool.
I would like to run custom ROMs( CM) based in my device. To start with, I aj a total noob and my device currently runs stock ICS provided by sony itself. It's not rooted. I wanted to know the steps regarding how-to do the procedures like :

You have to try every ROM on your own! Everybody has an other way to use it's Smartphone, so nobody can say which ROM is perfect for you and Root and CWM is needed for every Custom ROM Cause you need CWM to install the ROM and to install CWM you need Root And if the ROM is compatible with a locked or unlocked BL is said in every OP of a Custom ROM
Open your eyes and use the search function! You can find nearly EVERYTHING here on xda
But still a guide would be helpful...if possible...

If you don't wanna unlock your bootloader(which will void your warranty) but you wanna install cwm, you can always root your phone and install the cwm recovery... Now, every custom roms is very good!!! You must be thankful to all the devs here and try some roms on yourself... We can't tell that which Rom is good for you so you must try it on your own... CyanogenMod 9 is good and very smooth but requires you to unlock your bootloader... You also must unlock your bootloader to flash awesome kernels that provides overclock and many more...
You can find cwm recovery for locked bootloader at here!! Be sure to follow the steps properly!!
And to root stock .54, you must first flash the .10 kernel using flashtool, root it using binary method, then flash back the .54 kernel..

Is there any special point for wich i need the unlocked bootloader or is it just written for the people who unlocked there bootloader already?
Then to second question is about the sequence.
Am i right when i

3. install custom rom?
by the way: is there any huge difference between twrp and cwm? because at the table "Kernels" there is the TWRP for the Xperia T2 Ultra and an unofficial version and from CMW is an unofficial version too? Wich should i use?

Bootloader unlock is required to install Custom kernels like DOOMLORDS kernel. In case if you dont want that then no need to unlock BL.
Just follow this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784757 to get root on Locked Bl and then revert back to .402

A custom ROM is different from a custom kernel. Some custom ROMs do not require custom kernels (because they use stock kernel), but others do. So it really depends on the custom ROM that you want to use. Instructions and requirements will be posted in the respective ROM thread.
But if you want to use a custom kernel, then you will need to unlock the bootloader first.
And obviously, if you want to flash a custom ROM that needs custom kernel, then you will have to unlock your bootloader first.
Even if you want to flash a custom ROM that does not require a custom kernel, you need to first root the phone with the RootKit. Because flashing custom ROMs is usually done via recovery, and recovery installation requires root.

Then i take twrp or cwm
And then i flash a custom Rom wich use stock kernel
And that can i do with a locked bootloader?

Yes, run Rootkit, install recovery (TWRP/CWM) and then you can flash custom ROM which uses stock kernel.

then i have 2 new questions
1. How can i downgrade my phone ? just download the fw and use flashtool?
got an iphone till now and there it was a hard work to do it ..
2. is there any difference between locked and uinlocked bootloader? i mean in the point of restoring so that i have my warranty back?

2. It's a little more work if your bootloader is unlocked and you want to relock it before sending it to the service centre. You need to have your TA backup before doing so. If your bootloader is locked, you just have to remove root via SuperSU before sending it in for service.
