[Q] kernel and rom with best battery life - HTC EVO 3D

What is the friendliest kernel + rom for you and your battery? Anryl, anthrax, ziggy, butterToast etc.. share with us

I think anryl kernel with yoda rom work best for battery, but i prefer my phone anthraxed for that extra edge, and only a little bit more battery consumption. As for favorite rom, there are too many for different tastes, i prefer Mwakious for ics and PACman for jb

[Poll] What base do you prefer for phenomenal kernel?

I want open this thread to know if you prefer phenomenal 1.0/1.1 based on speedmod k-16 or phenomenal 2.0 based on speedmod k-18.
Some users wrote that prefer phenomenal 1.0/1.1 in battery.
My goal is find best balancment between performances and battery life
What do yo think?

ps: remember that phenomenal 1.1 is like a phenomenal 1.0 medium
Arghh! sorry
to be honest i couldn't notice a significant difference between 1.0 Extreme and 2.0 Extreme (so maybe you could add a third, neutral answer to the poll). but this poll is going to be very subjective as phones can behave completely different with another ROM/kernel combination, so why don't you do it like you are doing it already and offer both alternatives (k2-16 and k2-18)? of course only if this is not taking too much of you time, then i would suggest to stick with the latest speedmod and people who get bad battery life out of the newest phenomenals can stay on the older ones until there is a better one for them.

Need kernel recommendation?

Ok so Im running steal's 25 badass latest rom, but my problem is my battery keeps draining real quick, I'm currently running a stock tiamat ICS kernel and I know kernels have usually a lot to do with battery life expectancy and phone speed. So i would like to know which kernel is so far the best and most stable for the HTC EVO 3d? Please and thanks.
Anthrax without a doubt is the best kernel you could use on your 3d

What is YOUR best ROM for gaming?

NOTE: This is not the usual "what is the best ROM?" thread. This is a collection of personal opinions of gamers like myself to find out what current ROM works best for you and is not based on just a benchmark number. Please include your reason why and any relevant information that you would like to include.
Viper 3D
I am not absolutely sure, but when I experimented with Viper 3D ROM from Team Venom (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1991150 ), when I was reading through the thread, I saw someone said that it is the best ROM in case of gaming performance. Compared with Galaxy S3 than on Evo he had better results in FPS than on S3. So I don't know if this will help you somehow, but you should give it a try.
Can't say for sure either, but I've been trying a couple of Roms. More than the Rom, the Kernel seems to make a difference for Games.
Anyhow, I found to get really good results with the Sensai Rom when I use the Buttered Toast Kernel @1566mhz. You can save your battery and not overclock the GPU as that really didn't ever result in much performance increase.
I believe I had the best experience with the infamous Anthrax Kernel, though it was also draining battery like a hog and wouldn't run quite as stable as the Buttered Toast Kernel does. Either way, I'd say mostly stick to the Rom you like in terms of Featureset and try switching through Kernels, that's what mostly game me the biggest performance gains. (My personal favourite: Buttered Toast)

You should do compare and contrast on all available roms, that is stable enough to be used as daily driver. We all don't have the same usage in daily lives, we have different apps, which is depends on the user, different battery/performance mods, kernels, power management, etc. Just try LOS, Pixel Experience, etc. and record your power usage and compare it to all and you can determine yourself which one of them is good for you.
Btw. I'm using stock MIUI cuz I don't have problems installing custom kernel, battery mods, and other tweaks.
ROM has little to do in battery life (I agree, a few ROM specific features consume more battery like AOD). It's more Kernel related.
To my experience, stock miui ROM is always the best in terms of smoothness, fluidity and stability. If you feel the battery life is not that good, just grab a custom kernel and flash it through TWRP. You can also debloat useless System apps in order to have better RAM management.
I haven't tested everything, but stock kernel and stock ROM works the best for me. Most stable, best performance, smoothest, best battery(I get 10HRs of SOT). You should re-calibrate battery if you have been flashing many different ROMS.
Thanks guys i am on stock stable miui with sphinx kernel i am happy with it but i want to to try stock aosp that why i ask
For custom rom, you can try crdroid. For me so far thisbrom with default kernel has great battery backup. Manage to get 8h ++ sot starting from 90% battery. I will test more with next battery cycle. Normal usage social media, youtube and so far not try with pubg yet
