I've installed Xperia Mini Pro With 2.3.7 Cyanogen Mod 7.2 Firmware and it looks very nice but there's a problem ( I can't receive any call ) when someone phones me my phone doesn't ring only the one who is calling sees ( number busy ) although I didn't change any settings...
please help me solve this problem because I like this rom and I'd like to keep using it.
It's most probably due to baseband. If u have downgraded from ics or jb you must use and older baseband. Or flash stock gb firmware before and then flash cm. It will most probably work... Good luck
Press THANKS if I helped,

AJ
Thanks

Hi everyone.
I've been reading the new nAa's post about nightly MiniCM7, and it say we need the latest 2.1.1.C.0.0 SE firmware.
I'd like to know how to upgrade, because as i know, pc companion does not provide this firmware. Also i read about 3g and other problems after installing 2.1.1.C.0.0.
So, what do you guys know about 2.1.1.C.0.0?
Thanks a lot. I own an X10MP with 2.1.1.A.0.6 firmware.

I'm not sure what problems 2.1.1.c.0.0 has as regards to data/3g networking, but if you want it there are a few roms based on this version that are just modded stock firmwares in the x10minipro dev section.
Try these on your phone, and if they pose no trouble for you, use them if you want to produce your own MiniCM7 build.
This one for example.
Ok..that *clean* rom is based on 2.1.1.C.0.0.
So there's a stock (official or not) 2.1.1.C.0.0 firmware? That's the thing i need to try de nightlys MiniCM ?
Thanks buddy. You allways help me :good:

Yeh, the underlying system is what you need, and that's the correct version so it should work. The guy that made that just removed a lot of useless apps to maximize it for internal and ram space and make it faster, but the base system is still stock firmware.
Forgive my ignorance, but i have to ask this question for this specific device to make sure that I will not brick my phone.
I bought my phone 3 months ago, it came with 2.3 and I flashed CM7 using the tutorial of this device in the CM wiki site.
Now that the stable CM9 was released, I want to update it.
So I have some questions about how to proceed:
It will be necessary to use fastboot to flash the boot.img again?
Factory reset and wipe data will be needed?
I need to update the baseband (I live in Brazil)?
Assuming I want to downgrade to CM7 (or restore a backup of CM7). Is it possible? Will be complicated?
A future upgrade to CM 9.x, will be simple?
Thank you in advance.

u must flash 4.0.4 stock rom and then flash cm9 kernel and then install the rom from CWM...
flashing 4.0.4 will Reset ur kernel and baseband to default...
and if u want to return to cm7.2 u must flash GB stock rom and then CM7.2 kernel and then the installation...
any more questions??
Hmm...The procedure of flashing CM9 is the same.
As long as you know how to flash CM7,then just follow the guide to flash CM9.
So,flash boot.img via fastboot -> enter CWM -> fully wipe(recommended) -> install rom & Gaaps(for ics) -> reboot & enjoy.
P.S. Your phone will still work without upgrading the baseband, however,it's recommended.

What a pain...
Well i see you use CM 9 in your mini pro, Considering that i will need to search a tutorial to flash stock ICS, do you think CM 9 it's worth the effort, or is better stick to CM 7.2 until CM 10 is released. Since CM team announce that will be no further develop to CM 9 (only bug fixes and security updates)?

That's right. You don't need to flash stock rom.
All you have to do is follow this update guide, and I think you have already done it when flashing CM7.
And you can go back to CM7 from CM9 anytime, just do the same thing.
The baseband is recommended by developers, but I'd suggest you not update it so soon.Because the baseband(72) may cause your battery drain faster, which means your phone will work fine without updating it.
Good luck.

much thanks, work like a charm.
Ok so now that I've played with JB, I wanted to try out xperia ultimate hd for instance.
Problem is, I already had a lot upgrading from stock ICS to JB FXP.
So now the question: What are the steps to be sure there 's no problem at all while I change from
Flykernel+FXP
to
Xperia ultimate hd.
I unzipped the source, but can't find any ICS kernel to flash with flashtool. And I think I can not just reboot in recovery and flash the new rom, am I wrong ?
Searched for a clue on xda, sorry if I missed a post with the answer in it.
You should flash an ics kernel like rage kernel and flash the xperia ultimate HD rom in recovery. Don't forget about the wipes, it should work
What are the issues you are afraid of?

flykernel for ics has recovery just use it. You will want to flash the kernel first and then use the CWM from flykernel ics to flash the rom. Since there was no kernel inside the ROM this probably means it uses the stock kernel.
Ok thanks ! reasons why I want to change is :
-> Google Search is leeching my battery, I tried everything from disabling location or history, still draining do not know why...
-> No OTA on FXP, you guys know if there is any chances there would be on CM10 unoff ? CM10 supposed to bring OTA, do not know if FXP will.
->Still my battery is fine with smartassV2 / Sio, but I miss the auto brightness and I wanted a more stable / Battery friendly rom. Is ultimate HD the right choice ?
3 questions in one thread...:silly:
Hello guys, I'm new here, hope not doing nothing wrong posting this here. Also sorry for my english.
Ok, I just got a problem with my SE LWW. Suddenly its doesn't boot from CM10 kernel anymore (don't know why), also tried the MESA kernel, no luck. The screen turns on, but it keeps just black all the time. I can flash CM7's kernel and then flash CM7, can flash CM9's kernel and then flash CM9. Only CM10 gives me this problem now. I tried older builds and newer build, but nothing. Flashed Stock .tft and then tried to migrate to CM10, still no luck.
When I was ok running CM10 I flashed CM7 just to run some tests, then when I tried to get back to CM10 I got this problem. :crying:
Is there a solution? Will I be able to flash CM10 with stock kernel yet? I don't know what to do anymore...
Please help me if possible.
Thanks in advanced.
Try flash FXP152 kernel, if flash you flash FXP201 kernel your phone will not boot. It's happen to me too.

Thanks man! Tried a while ago and it booted as normal. :fingers-crossed:
Now... If I update to latest CM10 for coconut from get.cm and flash the provided newest kernel, do you think I'll get the same problem again?
Thanks in adv.
yes you will get the same problem again...... this happened with fxp138 àlso.... and then it was fixed in the next update.... so i guess all you have to do is just wait for the update to come...........

Hmm... That's odd, cause I was using the latest version from get.cm with no problem... That happened just because of CM7 flashing I guess. But ok, I'll wait for a new version and test it.
Thanks for the advice.

Well, try FXP 152... I believe it'll boot and work... Give it a try, then you just need to update to lastest release. Good luck.

Hi guyz,
Theres a strange problem in my sony wt19i Live With Walkman device...
Above WiFi, Bluetooth and radio services suddenly stopped working on my phone. but FM Radio starts, but can never find a station.
Any kind of fix or workaround? I am desperate, without these services my phone is near useless.
Running stock ICS kernel, Rom and baseband...
You could try flashing another baseband or flashing another stock rom .ftf again
Or you simply send it to the sony service center if you are still under warranty
Btw please post in Q&A forum next time you have a question :good:
