then flash a stock based rom like neat rom lite after a full wipe
Yes, I flashed with odin the last stock rom of samfirware, I've done wipe data and wipe cache, and marked repartition, but the phone started and was jammed in the samsung screen, I waited 10 minutes and the phone turned off, then I installed siyah kernel and cyanogenmod 10.1 and the phone was started at the first.

I did that but it turns off and when I turn it on it boots to recovery again!
However I solved it by flashing official ICS through Odin and re-flashing CM10!
Thanks for replying anyways...
Hey Guys
I came from Stock Rom, rooted my device and flash recovery. And when i come to install any custom rom my device get into a boot loop.
Fortunately I got a back up and every time a try a different custom rom and i can go back to stock.
Well i have tried with the following roms
CM10
AOKP
Slim Roms
Paranoid
Everytime i have tried any of these roms i do carefully everty step. Just exactly like the tutorial says. I've been done this before, installing custom rom in other device, like nexus s, gs3, gs2. Im familiar with those stuffs.
And i don´t think it has to do with some corrupted file when i download the base.
I have tried to reflash recovery and nothing.
Tried to change kernel, i changed to siyah and nothing. After i install custom rom , the device just show the logo of the rom and ask select language and bam!, there is the boop loop
I don´t know what else to do.
I have read something about clear nand with odin , but i dont see those options.
If anyone knows what to do, please let me know.
Thnks

That suggests a problem that is one of the following .
EXT SD card faulty
Custom rom download faulty
CWM recovery faulty.
user not following instructions .
Try flashing a Samsung Based custom rom .
jje
What do you mean boot loop is it actually restarting after boot and restating again ??
Yes. Exactly that's what i mean. It restart over and over again.
External sd card > i dont have one
Recovery > i tried with cwm and philz
Downloaded rom > i have tried download from the xda developer site and tried with different files, different roms
Im pretty sure i follow the instructions just the way it is

Hey jje, what is the purpose of flash a samsung based rom?
With this I understand that it will alow me to flash a custom rom after that, is that right?
Another question, how can i go back like all factory settings, i mean clear everything. I format internal sd, factory reset, do the wipes, fix permissions and once again try to install a custom rom but phone doesn't boot after show logo. Actually i install the same rom in another i9300 and everything's go fine, so the file is ok.

Having installed Omega on my international i9300, my ext mem card is not showing, can someone tell me what I need to do to get it working again?
Many thanks
If you don't have any important data, formats it into FAT32 by using computer or whatever.
If you can't afford to loose your data, try flash an exFAT supported kernel

That's right, probably it's exFAT formatted, try flashing Boeffla kernel, it supports exFAT and at the same time it's an amazing kernel.

The ext mem was not being recognised having installed latest omega, , so I followed your advice, flashed the boeffla-kernel-2.12.tar, using odin on my laptop, now, I turn the phone on, it only displays Samsung i9300, then nothing, I try to enter download mode or recovery pressing volume down, power and home, no responce.
Previously I had installed some rom management software on my i9300, I thought that might affect my ability to enter recovery.download mode.
Please advise.
Remove rom management wipe phone and flash stock rom .

Flash Philz recovery touch from ODIN also-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002953 - > http://d-h.st/users/philz_touch/?fld_id=16049#files -> philz_touch_5.07.1-i9300.tar.md5
Probably you have a CWM not compatible with extFAT
Or try to flash a stock ROM with ODIN, and then start from zero again if nothing else work.

Thanks, having flashed stock rom, flashing philz_touch_5.07.1-i9300.tar, (from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860) using odin results with Fail, could someone tell me the odin flash options to pick, as this frustrates me.

Looking @ boeffla it says on the site:
Note: This kernel is only for Samsung based Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.x) roms!!! Do not install it on CM or AOSP based roms!!! And do not install on latest Samsung 4.2 leaks !!!
I am running 4.2.2, is it ok, to flash it?
Q: pressing power button holding, no option to boot into recovery, how can I change this?

Ow, that's the reason that explains all, don't use boeffla with 4.2.2, there are no kernels yet that I'm aware of for that firmware.
I don't recommend you 4.2.2 yet, not perfect yet.
For recovery, you have to press power+home+vol up, then release power button (not the others) once you see the first logo.
As said no kernels for 4.2.2 though the leaked rom is itself very stable for a beta rom .

Hello,
I just recently rooted my Galaxy Player and flashed CM 10.1 on to it. Everything worked fine except it's buttons were not working. I then used Odin and flashed a kernal on to it to get the buttons working again ( I have done this before when I flashed CWM on to my device and it worked fine ). However the device never booted back up. The device ran out of battery and whenever I turn it on i get an error which is shown in the picture bellow. Can someone please help?

That's forced download mode, Just flash a stock ROM via Odin and you're good to go.
I'm assuming you flashed a pre 4.0 kernel, which is why this happened.

Hey,
I have since become a S3 ... I have rooted it and wanted to play another Rome.
First I flashed my Carbon ... that was wonderful, but I had no wifi. Then I tried another Rom (with aroma installer). When I had WiFi, but since I have the menu did not like it and it was me too many Samsung Apps.
Now I have flashed me the Resurrection Remix, but the S3 boots constantly new to the CWM.
The same I have with CM11.
What am I doing wrong please?

You need to install exactly like below don't miss any steps
-Installation-
1.- Wipe data / factory reset (mandatory if you coming from STOCK OR 4.2.X version or another ROM)
2.- Install the Main ROM
3- install gapps
4.- When you're back on recovery go to Advanced
5.- Wipe Dalvik Cache
6.- Fix Permissions
7.- Wipe Cache Partition
8.- Reboot
If it still not working flash TWRP recovery and use that to flash the rom
Hey,
I just did it. Then came the Samsung logo, phone restarts and I'm back in the CWM.
Have just flashed TWRP reboot (via CWM) Recovery and but still have CWM.
Grrrrrr ...... what for now
Better download official firmware from Sammobile and install thru Odin. Then Root and carry on with your favorite custom rom.
