The brightness of the device is low compared to other devices like RAY and x10 and Arc S
Is there a way to increase it more and make it like RAY?
Or that is the maximum capability of the screen?

AFAIK the problem with photos in xperia lineup is not the compression. but the method of noise reduction that is blurring too much detail. To change it basically we need to hack the driver.. Which is a bit more advanced for us to do..
Oh..I understand
with the hope that sony will solve the problem with ICS
thanks
I flash my LWW with BRAVIA ENGINE, i tick it and see no diffrence in photo and video.. I think its just a PLACEBO effect..

DO NOT post questions in Development section !
Search on google, you will find more info about it and if it really works and how big is the difference.

Here's a sample comparison for the BE engine tweak. The one with more vibrant color is w/ BE activated. You can confirm this on your wallpaper or with gallery preview. 1st pic is with activated mod.

Nope, bravia engine is just like sound...wether you activate it or turn it off,it won't affect your battery...well,if you deactivate it,your battery might improve slightly...

I dont think it would have noticeable affect on ur battery unless u set your screen off timer with 30mins or more.
Its like deactivating/activating xloud function when we use headset most of the time.

thanks for your help it worked
Any further information on what this exactly does? Does it work similar to maximum performance mode in windows where the low/max cpu is at 100%. This decreases battery life, but does not necessarily mean extreme heat (as this is mainly dependant on load rather than clock multiplier on high all the time).
I've not come across it yet where is it?

Is Xperia actions in settings?
Sent from my Sony Xperia XZ1 using XDA Labs
It can be invoked by clicking on the lightbulb icon in the homepage
You can make sure if it is turned on via settings->support->tools->accessibility
Another way to get into it is via settings->assistant->xperia actions
