The X10 is no longer available as a phone to update on SEUS, it was there an hour ago. I have restarted the Update app several times and it isn't showing up.
Purely speculation but an update to 2.1?
I wish, but something must of changed for them to remove it.
BTW this is in the UK, don't know about elsewhere, check if you can.
still available in Germany...

Scary..

not sure.. actually my many friends about 8-9 friends have Mozart and all got updated successfully and working fine. Mine got corrupt I belive is due to any one of the reason.
1 - battery was not fully charged so it drained during update process and corrupted files on ROM.
2 - my USB cable is little damanged.. so if I move my cell it drops connection.. and I was on couch so I suspect this maybe main reason behind files getting corrupt.
Hahaha, sounds exactly like me xD
Except I was in bed and not on couch^^
hey guys, do you have chvron unlocked phone or not?

hmm, so I got a response from HTC.. they say motherboard is dead.. now I highly doubt that, because it happened during update process and specifically after HTC Cleanup update, after it restarted phone it did not come up.. so I am going to open it and test it myself.. and if still I dont find out.. I am going to give it to local mobile repairer and see.. else buy new Windows Phone.
whats up with ur device?
HTC is hopeless.. they have only one answer Motherboard.. and am 100% sure it is not motherboard issue. So tomorrow I am going to some local mobile repair shop which will repair it using JTAG method. Basically it can bring hard brick devices into life again.
will keep you all posted.
updated to Mango without any problems.
Got my Mozart backup alive.. Got it reparied from the local mobile shop.. darn cheap compared to HTC Motherboard reason.. and got it reparied in just 2 hours.
What ended up being wrong with it?

Hi I have the same problem here except that the cable is fine and I was doing the update on a desk.
What ended up being the problem with yours... HTC want me to believe its the battery but I know that that diagnosis is ****.
I decided to check for any software updates this morning and to my surprise, it said that there were updates available but, the servers were busy. I then went about my business and decided to check again a few minutes ago and it now says that my current software is up to date and I can check again tomorrow. The thing is, I was never given notification that a software update was downloaded or installed.
Does anyone know how to reset the time stamp so that I can run the software update checker again? I would like to determine if this was just an error on AT&T's servers or if there really is an update available for my phone.
Thanks,
-Sharples

Likely just a glitch or just an error communicating with the server. AFAIK, there are no AT&T updates.
No updates yet. But if you really want to reset the counter go into Menu > Settings > Applications and erase the data for AT&T Software Update.
Or, I believe just changing the date to one day later will work as well (it did on the Cappy anyway).
Thanks guys for the quick response! I did reset the counter as mentioned and indeed, it was a glitch on At&T's side.
Just Checked and got this
Sent from a Galaxy far, far away!
I got it too!!!!
Yep, I got the same thing...
I've been searching for an answer for a while actually so maybe resurrecting this thread will bring an answer.
Same here... some reason my only allows me once per 24hours it said once..lol.. but now it says what your does
Nope, I get current software is up to date.
how

You can go to the update app and clear the cache and data.
Does this reset the counter to 24 hours?

I'm just curious if this resets the counter to 24 hours?
I just changed the day to 1 day ahead. Whoop whoop!
Just connected my Xperia to the computer tonight (Thursday 7 May 2012) and it told me the *73 update was available.
I had flashed generic *67 UK ROM a couple weeks ago, to rid bloatware from O2, so, it's still unbranded after the update, much to my relief!
I was surprised at the update really, as I believe ICS is just around the corner, but, it's always nice to get an update.
Let's hope it improves battery life, maybe even more so with ICS???
It's 7 JUNE? Also. 75 is available
Wake up :-D

yes finally lol
73?
I'm also in UK and just connected my phone to PC Companion and got 'surprised' by the window displaying 6.0.A.3.75 being available for my phone.
yeah mines says .75 as well
I'm definitely gonna have to check this out when I power the laptop in the morning.
Anyone noticed any real changes yet? Like battery performance or stability etc...
Sent from Sony Xperia S using XDA Premium
Bought my XS from 3 last week (arrived last Friday) and it had .73 on it already
How can I tell if it's 3 branded or not? It's 6.0.A.3.73.
Boot up screen will have a big 3 logo on it. Usually a good sign that its branded.
Any ftf for this anywhere...???
I take it it's not available OTA right?
No dont think s.
You guys are a bit late there. The rest of the world has had .73 for a month or so and are on .75 now.
UK generic is on. 75 now I think OP made a mistake on the title

I've flashed the CE1. 75 update already, but is it worth me changing back to uk now? Or does it not really make any difference? For ICS update etc?
Heh, good about time. It's been on .67 since I bought it. Had the random popup that surprised me too while the phone was unplugged and I was browsing the web... Going straight to .75 tonight. Hope we can keep up this time.

I think that whichever region gets ICS first, I'll be flashing that region's FW as quick as you like!
"An update with the November security patch arrived for the majority of Pixel 6 and 6 Pro owners at the end of October. Google is now releasing updated builds for both phones, with global and Verizon variants.
Update 11/17: According to Verizon, this mid-cycle update “improves the performance of your device’s fingerprint sensor.” Early anecdotes of the 14.56MB OTA are bearing that out. However, “Check for update” does not currently trigger the download for all users."

Wow! Just wow. This is the way it should be. Banking, apps, unlocking nearly instantaneous..
How long did this update take to finish for other people? My Pixel 6 is spending forever "Optimizng apps".
Also, my fingerprint sensor seemed quick and responsive to me (coming from a LG G8X). I wonder if this update will change anything.
Ive not received it yet. UK based.
Don't have the tech know how to side load so I'm checking for updates via settings ]] system ]] system update.

Optimizing apps is like watching paint dry. Put the phone aside and come back in a half hour.

I let it be and just came back to it to find it was ready for the phone to be restarted. So I don't know when it actually finished, but it was a while. Now to test the fingerprint sensor performance.
Edit:
Performance feels the same or just a fraction of a second longer. Perhaps it also addressed accuracy? Should be noted that I never felt my fingerprint sensor was slow.

I hope you get it soon in the UK. If not, take a look at the instructions given here. One of the most important things is downloading the sdk-platform tools and making sure your phone is recognized. The download is the second of 2 November OTAs. Once you do it you'll see how easy it is. But I do understand being a little trepidatious.

definitely a tick faster for me. I think this also prevents it from misreading the FP when moving it while holding down. Faster sometimes can also be more accurate.
cheers
Nothing here yet. Pixel is not officially sold in my country but i think that the one i have is initially bought from UK. Hope that it will make fingerprint reader better when i receive it.
Optimizing apps took a really long time.
Way faster unlock within apps. (I use smart unlock so I can't comment on unlocking the phone_
Everytime I try to flash, it just fails on (remote: partition (system) not found)
Tried most things, full reset, adb wont update on sideload.
Although it did fail on bootloader, but it did eventually update the bootloader to the required, but it jsut will not update to the 037 update, its really damn annoying.
Using flash all or sideload, it wont update, bizarre.
If you are rooted already and want to update: @gururoop has an execellent step by step for Pixel6 Pro that can be used on the Pixel6 (assuming flashing proper images etc) https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...thout-wiping-data-and-retaining-root.4356065/

I also had on smart unlock but with this update I turned it off. I've yet to get a FP deny with the update. And with the location of the onscreen thumb reader it's even faster than my P5 with the rear sensor where you need to adjust in order to get your finger on it. (that's not what she said either. ;-)
This update has made the phone so much better, imo. I also saw that it corrected some overheating issues so we'll see if it helps battery life too.
Google must have been reading our XDA fingerprint threads!

I was thinking the exact same thing. And Reddit too. They are uncensored so things got really vicious there. At least there is some semblance of normalcy and decorum here which might have even made it more readable for Google.

Shouldn't need root to update stock to 037, it just fails on partition error.
