Awesome find: Deodexed Stock Roms - Streak 5 Android Development

Inspired after finding the thread [ROM]Stock Deodexed Roms by TheManII, I went a hunting. (Props to TheManII for these files! ...though I'm sure he never intended them to be "Daily Drivers")
These are a find because they let you go back to stock(ish) with out having to flash the exact correct stock recovery first. (as they are zip files)
**WARNING**
These files could eat your cat if you chose to let it!
Dell Streak5 353 Rom "Latest At&t rom" (Build:15697, Region:31, Release Date: Mar 23, 2011)
Dell Streak5 354 Rom "Latest Hong Kong rom" (Build:15881, Region:11, Release Date: Apr 1, 2011)
Dell Streak5 360 Rom "Latest Retail rom" (Build:17397, Region:00, Release Date: May 31, 2011)
Dell Streak5 369 Rom "Latest Softbank rom" (Build:29579, Region:12, Release Date: Jul 10, 2012)
Dell Streak5 407 Rom "Latest Olleh rom" (Build:20707, Region:14, Release Date: Dec 1, 2011)
These are not necessarily the most stable/reliable roms, but they did the job for my purpose (namely, jumping back to Stock long enough to Unlock my phone.) ...I also did a factory reset, cleared Cache, Dalvek Cache. and fixed permissions just to be safe. I'll reapply the Nandroid backup after I'm done.

Sweet thanks!! So will this allow me to easily update my baseband?

Not that I'm aware of.

Downgrade to Stock to Upgrade to ICS?

Hello friends at XDA,
I'm currently own a EU Razr. I upgraded it a couple of months ago to a Gummy ICS release. It works pretty good, sans Camcorder.
But now i would like to upgrade to the oficial Moto ICS (from what i read, it'll be releasing soon).
I did make a backup using Clockwork of my stock Motorola.
Do i need to downgrade to be able to upgrade? Should I?
Can i use my nandroid backup simply my applying it via Clockwork Recovery?

New(ish) NTT Rom: 328

Recently kibuuka recieved a new V, and it just so happened that it was loaded with 328.
With the info he has provided, I have apparently found that 328 is also available as a pkg.
Thunder_328_19208_16.pkg
Rom details:
Android 2.2.2/FRG83G
Build date: Fri Aug 26 20:54:27 CST 2011
Dell Stage 1.6
Region: 16 (NTT com)
There is no real reason to install this, this is merely an informational post.
The rom itself is over a year old, but it was previously unknown to us.
What abt the recovery for this rom? Can we use 325 or 328 recovery is available
Sent from my Dell Venue using xda app-developers app
No, they are the wrong regions.
I'll upload the matching recovery later, I merely havnt had the chance to get around to it.
<Dev Host>\Venue\328
Decrypted pkg and generated recovery image for it.
I dont recommend installing this if you are currently on a rom that has no pkg to return to.
Doubly I dont recommand installing it period, it's not a generic region rom like 00/30.

Stock Rom For The Alcatel Ideal

Dose anyone have the stock rom for the Alcatel Ideal?
I manged to brick mine by uninstalling some AT&T apps.
did you find a solution?
i also rooted the phone, and trying to do some stuff bricked the device
I feel your pain! Just bricked mine trying to root it. Don't know any way to fix it, unfortunately... just came here to shed tears... :''''(
Have you guys tried hard reset?
http://www.hardreset.info/devices/alcatel/?p=1 Try one of the devices method
I contacted Alcatel regarding this and they are not able to direct me to a stock ROM. Just checking to see if anybody has had any luck, or can another model's ROM be flashed to fix these phones?

Confused on Global Rom and Current Build Number, Updates.

I am confused?? Do I have the Global rom? I got my Red Magic Mars via the phone swap after testing the first one.
Build Number - NX619J_ENCommon_V1.08
Android 9 Security patch - December 5th
I have been looking all over trying to find out what exactly this global rom is. Is it what I already have, not the Chinese rom right? If so, does the NA one available on the website from March 25th have a later build number than NX619J_ENCommon_V1.08?
If anyone takes the time to answer before I get official response from the red magic support team It would be much appreciated. Thanks
...
I have mars since February and I've been in that version since then, but before, I had flashed the Chinese rom.
I think something does not fit ... perhaps when flashing the Chinese rom something is ruined the otas? because the update package looks like for the chinese rom?
If your led strip does only green and you have google play you have global rom... If the multi colors work for notifications then you have Chinese rom
NA Global Rom v1.08

I know this is an older thread, but I have the NA version, purchased direct from the na.redmagic.gg site back in March. Upon power on, I immediately got the update from version v1.07 to v1.08. Here is my build number from the settings screen:
---Version: 1.08 (Android 9)
---Build number: NX619J_Z69_EN_WPJ0O_V1.08
---Android security patch level: December 5, 2018
This is the English ROM with the Google stock UI instead of the Chinese ROM with RedMagic OS. There have been no security updates after the initial ROM patch back in March 2019.

Question Baseband from Android 12 QPR3 beta 2 on Stable Android 12 SP2A April build

Curious to see if anyone flashed the baseband/radio from the QPR3 Beta 2 on the April SP2A build?
Just flash it and check, worst you can get is a bootloop, then just download april firmware and flash baseband back in fastboot.
What are the differences between April one and QPR3 B2 btw?

I flashed it this morning. I was curious if anyone else had flashed to see if their connectivity improved. It seems to get a stronger signal than I had on the one included with April factory image. Too early to tell though.
Haven't located a specific changelog, but the baseband for April factory image has a build date of Feb and the QPR3 B2 has a build date of Mar.
Gonna take a look I guess, but I doubt it's revolutionary. Main thing which makes me suffer is big network battery drain..
