Good day folks. I am running latest jelly bam 6.7 rom which I understand is no longer linked with XDA. However, out of the blue, I am getting error message "Unfortunately, Browser has stopped" each time I try to use the native browser. My Firefox browser works just fine. Is there a workaround to fix the browser. I used the forum search but I couldn't quite find a fix for my issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Reboot to recovery and wipe cache and delvic cache. This will force apps to reimplement. Let us know if that works. Had a similar problem and this worked for me.

I didn't work. The browser still force closed so I was forced to dirty flash and that fixed it but i had to restore everything which was a major pain. Not sure what caused it so I'm concerned it could happen again. Thanks for the reply!

I was recently rooted and now am running Das BAMF 2.0 and I am having issues with Gapps. It keeps force closing and will not allow me to add any more accounts. Do you know of any work arounds?
I searched and didn't see anything but as a n00b I may have missed it.
Thanks!
You shouldn't be installing gapps. That is for CM7.
I didn't. Here is the full error I get:
"The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I was probably mistaken about the Gapps part. Just saw that in the error and figured that was the problem. I did not install anything that did not come with the ROM.
Sorry for the confusion.
Edit: As a side note, the calendar app is not pulling my info, probably for this same reason.
Try going into Rom Manager and choose Fix Permissions. Let that run, reboot, hopefully that may fix the problem.
Dang I was hoping that would work but no go. Thanks!

Is just gmail or is it talk as well? Might be able to reinstall the app?

I will try that out. It seems to be the calendar and Gmail.
I had a few issues on some apps. After uninstalling them and then reinstalling them the issues went away.

I'm not sure if its my phone specifically or the fact the Vibrant doesn't run ICS natively, but Chrome force closes on every attempt to open it. I've cleared app data, wiped davlik, rebooted and still no avail.
Anyone else have these problems? Any known cause why this is force closing?

FCs and buggy on vibrant turk rom. Going to have to reboot and see.
On passion v12. Smooth as butter.
This kind of sucks, but they said previously they were done developing for mobile.

Passion V12 as well. Only thing that comes to mind with why it isn't working is that I have Google 2-Step verification enabled and there may be bugs with that. Going to turn 2-Step off to help rule that out.

Have the same setup. Please let us know

i had issues with 2-step verification as well on this device and my nook. i turned it off. its more trouble than its worth. i'm not stashing nuclear launch codes or my bank account number in my email anyway. plus i keep my passwords pretty convoluted anyway
I flashed over to ICSSGS ROM last night so can't give a clear answer if 2-Step verification was causing the crashes or not on Passion. FWIW, Chrome Beta works fine on this ROM with 2-Step enabled.

flash on chrome
@meamgood
It's definitely annoying not to have flash on such an anticipated Google release, but most developers I talk to seem to agree that we should all just let Flash die off.

RIP Flash.
Thats what you think. There are a lot of webs with Flash. They do not want to spend money and time to implement HTML5.
Apologies i have posted in the wrong place Title says it all tried clearing cache rebooting Tablet uninstall and reinstall but it keeps crashing every time. I am on cm9 latest official nightly but it was the same before I upgraded. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
The same happens to me. You can clear app data, but you have to log in afterwards and the problem eventually comes back.
Best thing would be to report the problem when happens so the dev can work on a fix.

+1 with tweetcaster, I switched to plume instead.
I installed the AT&T jelly bean update a couple days ago and now when I do a Google search the links that come up from the search results won't work. I get a quick flash of the screen and then it goes right back to the search results page. I am not rooted, I'm running stock jb. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice on how to resolve it? Thanks in advance!

Try clearing cache and data for the "Google Search" app.
So it appears to be a problem with chrome. I was using chrome as my default browser when I couldn't get the links from my searches to work. I tried opening chrome directly and the app won't open up. I switched my default browser to the LG browser and it works fine now. So now I need to try to figure out why chrome isn't working on my phone. Any suggestions?

Noticed that my chrome is glitching as well after jelly bean update. Plain clear cache/reset doesn't work, but uninstalling the update and reinstall works.

Cleared cache and data under playstore and it fixed my playstore issue ( someone posted to try that under chrome ) but didnt fix the chrome. Tried a couple older versions of chrome and still same issue. I guess i can TRY to get used to another browser but its been the only one ive used for awhile now.

I would wipe and flash the rom again. I had that problem and it turned out to be kernel had not installed properly. I wiped twice and flashed again and the problem was gone. If that doesn't work download if again you may not have a complete download. You get more info click the link below.
I just installed cerj theme over top and chrome is actually working now. Ill check playstore in a sec but im a happy person now.
