I just unlocked my one x+ yesterday and tried to flash TWRP using the hasoon2000 toolkit.
After it sent the file to the phone nothing happens like rebooting or something and i thought it was normal for flashing recovery so is quite from Fastboot to Hboot and selected recovery after it turned off the phone, it stayed in the off mode so only thing i can do is just switch on the phone and it boots normally to the system.
I also tried CWM recovery but the same thing happened.
Any idea would be appreciate .

You need to fastboot boot your recovery.img
This will allow you to write the kernel to the boot partition
What you did only flashed your recovery partition, and when you rebooted to recovery, you lost the ability to flash your boot partition.

You said in your OP that you entered this command thru fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
If you go to the same directory that has the recovery.img ( you did everything correct up to this point) and enter the command
fastboot boot recovery.img
Your phone will boot into a temporary session of your recovery, with the exception that it allows flashing to the boot partition.
From here you can just do your normal wipes and flash your rom and it will boot like expected.
You should check out the stickies in the dev forum to learn more about the proper flashing with 1.5 hboot

Hey no problem, I've been in your shoes. Used to being s-off and being able to flash anything I want. But it's not so bad once you get use to it.
Also, check out joeykrim's app flash image GUI: its in the market and there is also a thread in the EVO3D themes and apps forum

Hey everyone,
So, I flashed my phone using the flash GUI app with a boot.img, and went on in the recovery and flashed a compatible rom. When I rebooted, it goes to the screen that says "***UNLOCKED***".
Thinking I must have flashed the rom incorrectly, I went into recovery twice and flashed a rom twice. It's actually quite weird, this has never happened to me before, usually it boots at least and gets stuck in a boot loop, but this is not the case.
Any ideas how to at least boot?
boot into fastboot and reflash the kernel using adb

Pull battery, then boot into bootloader by holding down volume down + power button. Select fastboot. Next connext phone to computer via usb cable. On the computer extract the kernel zip, open the folder, and open flash.bat. this will flash the kernel and fix your problem, IF if is a kernel problem...
Wat rom and what kernel did u try flashing?

In my experience, being stuck at the boot screen (not to be confused with the bootloader) is due to an incompatible kernel. Make sure you flashed a kernel built for the same Android version as the ROM.

I am having a similar problem. I unlocked the bootloader and have TWRP, rooted, and then flashed the Bulletproof Kernel then wiped cache after flash. Now when I turn the phone on it shows the HTC logo then goes to a black screen and just hangs there and eventually reboots and hangs on the black screen again. I do not have a ROM on the phone storage and am working on trying to sideload one but am having a little trouble. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
solved
Fixed my issue. Had the wrong kernel installed. Flashed the correct one through fastboot and got it working
