Try a different charger, cable and or battery (from somewhere).
If none of that works, looks like a warranty issue.
Hold the power button in for like 6 seconds, then try to power it on again.
Failing this, try to get a usb jig
Took it to the service center, its a motherboard issue...

Did you calibrate your battery? You are supposed to everytime you install a new rom. Charge to 100 percent, boot to recovery, wipe battery stats, drain the battery down till phone powers off, plug it in and boot to android, charge to 100 again without break.

If you let the phone power down by itself, when you plug it in it will boot to the charge only screen. If you hold the power button as you plug it in and keep it held it will skip that screen and boot straight to android. And yeah, try not to use the phone while its charging.

Thanks alot I will try that

Whats not working? The holding the power button thing? Thats ok, it doesnt screw up the process of calibrating. It will let you hold the power button and boot to android from the charging screen once it registers anything more than 0 percent. It also takes a few days of use after the calibration to really see a change. Youre just reading a little too far into it. Just boot to 100, wipe bat stats, drain it to 0, boot it back up and let it charge to 100. Use your phone normally for a few days after that and youll notice the difference.

I noticed my s3 (JB - rooted for a long time) was on 5% battery but i didnt care so i kept on doing my stuff
ofc it had turned off, so when i plugged in the charger nothing happened, no battery logo, no charging LED. after 5-10-15 min still nothing.
so i tried
- booting it up
- recovery mode
- download mode
- took out battery and put it back in
- tested charger with different phone, not broken
no response to all of this!
my s3 was full of apps and running rly rly slow lately, maybe it bricked itself? im panicking right now and dont know what to do, pls help!

no, just now i tried with another battery from my friends s3 and it doesnt work aswell i think the s3 totally bricked on me.
no response to any action i take, could that be in my benefit? like with my official warranty, if they cant even turn it on they wont know that it was rooted right?
Nah if they can't turn it on then they will just wipe and flash bud, I think the service centre is your only option buddy.

i couldnt exactly figure out what the problem is with my phone, but i also do not care anymore, tuesday im getting a new one, warranty and stuff
ps: callservice told me the problem might have been due to too many apps that run automatically, they had similar issues like that
My friends stock S3 is playing up. It keeps boot looping and I can't manage to get it into recovery because it shuts off before I can do anything.
Any ideas or guidance?

The phone keeps shutting off after seconds of it being turned on. I think it may be a battery problem but I'm not sure.

so the battery is 0%. if you can charge it somehow, try entering recovery mode and wipe everything. I doubt, is that a real S3?

Can you get it into download mode?
You could then use Odin to Flash a recovery backup.
Apologies, someone's already suggested this Getting hold of another battery is a good suggestion as previously said.
Good luck
Please hit the thanks icon if I helped
in any way
