Hi everyone,
I'm getting crazy trying to find an autorun manager app able to kill process on startup and also to stop them when they try to restart.
Of course I would like it free if possible.
I've already tried : Android assistant, Startup manager, Startup cleaner. Those apps don't work or have problem.
Thank you.
I see two ways there: If is a user app try to unnistalled or delete it, otherwise use a freeze utility from the market. It's way better than killing every time period.
Hi Bastospn, thanks for your answer. What is a freeze utility ? Is it an app that prevents process to autorun or restart ? Do you have a name to give me ?
Thanks.
the app Autorun Manager does exactly this (and more) strange you haven't found that

If you are on android 2.2 + system you will not be able to do this with any app unless you are rooted. We need the permission to change the system setting(that's the superuser permission) in order to remove an app completely from startup.
Hi.
I just installed Autorun Manager. It does not seem to do anything. Everything I disable runs at startup.
I am rooted with One Click with 3.1 CWM. And I am running Syndicate Frozen 1.2 EC05
sorry i cant speak english wit perfect.
this is first my post.
i'm using custom rom remix 1.1 but when i press home to recent apps, task manager button not show.

Well, as a title says I'm unable to install some apps (games / apps / tools). I press on .apk file, it shows permissions and such but I can only press "cancel" button, because "install button" doesn't works. Looks like something is checking if the .apk is legal or not. Also when trying to switch to package installer from task manager I can't, it's also inactive, but other open apps are working as well (can switch to them).
Anyone can help me please?
Thanks in advance!
Have you enabled installing of non-market apps?
Ah, found what caused the problem. It was Lux auto brightness.

If you won't enable it, you will get the message "non-market apps blablabla". You won't get to the point where you can press "install" and "cancel".
But the case is closed, found the solution.
When I try switching the keyboard to Swiftkey it will always change back to the stock keyboard. Sometimes it happens after using the keyboard once and sometimes after using it a few times. I'm not doing anything specific each time the change happens. The phone is rooted and even though I have Xposed installed, I have not changed any keyboard related settings using Xposed and the issue was occurring before I had even installed it. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks very much.

Did you Greenify swiftkey? If yes that's the problem. If not, this is reported to work on swiftkey forums. OR, freeze your stock keyboard so it has no choice but to use swiftkey.
Using ES File Manager
1) Open ES File Manager
2) Click on the menu button of your device
3) Click on "Manager"
4) Click on "App Manager"
5) Long press on app you want to extract
6) Click on "backup"
7) Extracted .apk files will be placed on the "backups" directory of your sd card
Now install this new backup over your existing Swiftkey. *Should* stay there forever now.

Thanks very much for the response. I completely forgot that I had used Greenify to hibernate Swiftkey so I disabled that setting. However, the issue came back even after making that change. I ended up just freezing the stock keyboard and that seems to have done the trick so far. Thanks again. I sincerely appreciate the help.
Hi, the program Tinycam monitor Pro was working ok but today I was going to update the list of cameras from Download folder (by xml file) something went wrong and I can't access archive from this app. please look the video:
I have this error as it tries to open the default android file manager (or library) that it looks to have been redirected to another installed program, how can I fix it? Which is the name of the app/service for file manager? I've searched for it in all apps and all system apps, to delete its data and restore it, I couldn't find a compatible name. In this Android (probably 7) there aren't options to choosethe deafault apps too, It's a Sony Bravia.
I've tried to delete data of Tinycam monitor Pro, uninstall and reinstall it from google play. I've stopped other apps to boot from startup and reboot, I've installed another file manager hoping it put itself as "default". I've tried with all other apps (VLAN, Mxplayer, file manager, x plore, ando others) accessing the storage, and they do it without problems, except this. How can I fix it? Which google module I've to "reset" to try fix it? How other choices I have?
Thanks
Has somebody idea how to solve it? Thanks
I'm searching for help, thank you
help, thanks
