I've started having battery charging problems for the last few days. Phone plugged in all night and only charged to 59%, it's done this twice now. Today I changed to a different cable which I know worked with the phone before and it says charging, but it's not going very quickly, left plugged in for a few hours and managed to get up 20%
Is there an app or a way to see what my phone is charging at?
I've read about the issues with charging the S3 and they mention the different powers that it charges at and I want to check with my cables.
I'm running CM10.1
Thanks

I did search and that didn't come up (another thread did though which didn't help)
I thought I had posted in Q&A but obviously didn't
But thanks for your short but quite helpful post

Hey i know its been disscussed but it is ambiguous about the reason for the rapid battery drain of 2.3.5. I was on it for a day and hot maybe 10 hours total...light use. I switched back to 2.3.4 on the galaxy s2 and battery life returned to normal. What changed from the two to suck battery so much?

I had about 60% battery left then restarted my phone and went down to 25%. Any explanations?

This is well documented. There are a few other threads about this. It has to do with the way our fuel gauge works. Search around to find out more details.

ffs, search before posting!
"search" includes basic technique such as "read the damn thread titles on the first page of the forum you're posting in".
YOU POSTED A QUESTION REGARDING SOMETHING THAT ALREADY HAS ITS OWN DAMN THREAD ON THE FIRST PAGE!

Having the same issue in chicago. I end up switching to another apn and it buffers the entire video in a few seconds. Not sure what's up with that.

dude regardless, telling him to suck it is inappropriate. you posted in the wrong section and now youre getting an attitude? there are rules on xda, doesnt matter if the section is BOOMING or not
i personally dont care what you do or where you post, but please try and follow the rules around here. it makes the forums easier to navigate when threads are in the proper section :good:
Does anyone here remember the good old days of not needing / wanting any of this fancy stuff.. back when a phone was a phone not a computer

useless thread is useless. That kind of post belongs on Twitter or FB.. or in the General Off-Topic thread.
