Hi everbody,
i bought me an Android Mini Pc on a technic expo:
EU2000 TV BOX Android 4.0 AllWinner A10 1G RAM 8G Built-in 5.0MP Camera And Mic HDMI AV Output with Stand and Wifi.
I dont know if it is allowed to post a shop link, otherway you will find for more details the device on "geekbuying".
I am very satisfied with the device and it works alright. Nevertheless, it has build in camera and lets say a very customized Android 4.0 running. For example also after reseting a spezific Skype Contact is still the main User and not deletable. Also i am sure that fact is because i bought a used one on a expo i would like to flash the device and install a clean rom, exspecially because of the build in camera.
I could not find any thread dealing with this device, so my question if there is anybody there who already has experience with the device or knows a good rom for it and maybe can tell me where to find an installing manuell.
Moreover, i use the device with a airmouse remotecontrol, which also works very well. It works with a USB Dongle i put in in the backside of the device. The Remotcrontroll has on one side a keyboard with a return, and page up and down button and on the other side the main Android Buttons, volume keys and setting keys.
Therfore, i am also afraid the remotecontroll will not work again after flashing the system, or it is using own drivers.
Maybe, anybody has experience with it and can help me. For those who are interested in the device more generally i also will answer your questions.
Thanks and kind regards

Hi, I'm a recent owner of the Archos Gen 8 and have also bought a bluetooth keyboard and mouse for the device.
The keyboard is working ok, but the mouse itself seems not native to the android os. For example, double-clicks equal to a touch in the screen, and I cannot select texts in documents-to-go, and so on. My question is whether it is possible that anyone can port the mouse-driver to the android so the mouse could work better?
Just my two-cent question since I know nothing about programming nor linux, but my work requires typing and editing documents on-the-go a lot. Anyone shares any opinions?
Thanks and best regs,

Moved to general as not android development
I have found this same problem on ARCHOS 101 Android 2.x.x. Bluetooth Mouse or USB Mouse could not use single click. Someone told me this problem relate to Android OS not ARCHOS device. But on my 7" Chiness Tablet Android 1.6 no problem with Mouse.
I don't know to to fix this bug on ARCHOS device.
Hello all,
I recently bought an Android tv box and I want to put it in my car. I bought also a 7" digitiser and a "digitizer to usb interface from Adafruit named ar1100" that help me to connect via USB the digitiser and the Tv box.
My problem is that I have set up the interface and when I connect to my tv box using USB, it works as a touchpad , not like a touchscreen. This means that I see a cursor and I need to move that cursor like the touchpad from the laptop.. I want to activate the function where the digitiser works as it is designed.
I have read on some forums that is a "Touch mode" function that can be activated but from what I understand, it is made by developers which insert some lines in the source code...
Do you please have any suggestion for me in order to find a solution? Or an .apk that can solve this?
Thank you very much! :crying:
Did you ever resolve this? I've connected my Ar1100 to three Android devices and have exactly the same problem.
Bit of a weird one for you all, but here goes.
I want to be able to plug production level cameras into a smartphone or tablet, and have them read as the native camera. Looks like Android is capable of accepting a USB UVC source, since apps like CameraFi exist that allow you to plug a webcam into your phone with an OTG cable for recording. Looking around online, it looks like the Magewell USB Capture SDI device will take a camera and treat it as a USB UVC source, like any webcam.
So the hardware makes sense to me, but the last thing to figure out is how to disable the built-in camera on a phone/tablet, and instead have the OS read the external camera as the main/only one. This way, my hope would be that any apps, such as Periscope or Ustream, would automatically work with the external camera. Anyone have any ideas on how to pull that off? Any Android device brand or model will do if you have recommendations.
Thanks!

We have been discussing this at work lately and are very interested as well . We're thinking of creating a virtual android instance on a PC that has no webcam, using a device like the one you mentioned and seeing if we can trick it that way
Dear XDA members,
I am opening this thread in hope that the collective knowledge of XDA will help find a solution for a problem me and some other users are having with the GT1 and possibly other S912 tv boxes.
It seems that there is a problem on some devices, if not all, that when you connect a bluetooth keyboard or mouse to it, it appears as connected, but no input from the keyboard/mouse is seen.
The steps i tried so far are:
- usb mouse and keyboard are working
- tested on different official firmwares, custom ones and even ones from other manufacturers with same hardware (T95z,)
- tested with 3 different keyboards : RII i8+ (bt version), apple keyboard, tablet cover bt keyboard, and 2 mice: RII i8+ and apple mouse
- cat /dev/proc/bus/input/devices does not show the bt devices
- created keyboard layout for the specific vendor and product ID, but it seems that they are not loaded as the device corresponding to those vendor and product is not detected
- installed ubuntu using linux deploy, and keyboard is not working in there also,
The most anoying thing is that the company i bought it from is stating that the box does not support bluetooth keyboard input as it lacks "associated configuration file", whatever that means.
If anyone has experienced similar problem and found a solution, or if anyone has any suggestion as to what else to test, i would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Catalin.
Hi I own a similar device - VideostrongĀ“s YokaTV KB2. It has the same issue you mentioned. I tried similar steps you mentioned, but unfortunately I were not able to fix it yet. I believe there might be issue with the code provided by Amlogic, because this issue is quite prevalent among S912 devices. I already tried to contact Amlogic support by e-mail, so far I am waiting for the reply.
This one works
Sorry to hear of your problem guys but I have a keyboard which works straight out of the box! It's the Mini Bluetooth, IS11-BT05 with internal batt & USB charging. Got it from Ebay <Ā£20. Hope this helps.
Hi. Apologies if this is not the right place for this but I'm desperate!! Well, not that desperate but you know what I mean.
I have a really good USB cam meant for connecting to an LG TV but I want to use it on my Android box. I have an older s802 box on which it works fully with Messenger but that's not my main, always connected TV box. That one is a not so old Rockchip and on that the mic works well in Messenger but the cam doesn't, saying that another app might be using the cam but I think that's because it doesn't see the cam at all. If I use a UVC app the cam comes up fine! Then I have another Rockchip box (MX10) where the cam works fine in Messenger but the mic doesn't!
I'm looking for advice on where the problem might lie. It doesn't look like Messenger has a problem, and given the cam works on one Rockchip box and the mic on the other I don't think its that either. The thing that is different in each case is the version of Android. Is it possible to install drivers on these things?
Any advice, suggestions?
Thank you.
