[Q] mySENSE-dx RC3.5 (Sense 4.1) - HTC Desire X

I flashed die new rom version mySENSE-dx RC3.5 (Sense 4.1) over the RC3.0. Than i flashed die boot.img with the tool.
Now when i boot the rom the home screen does not load. I see only the loading animation. After a few minutes the error messages come up.
I can open the statusbar this works all fine.
Wenn i look into Recovery i see that i have Hboot 1.20

did you update to JB? if not try to flash it again with full wipe

If RC3.0 you chose Sense Lite, you need a full wipe installation.
Flashing on top RC3.0 with Full Sense is ok.
What you can do, drag down the notification pull down, click settings then apps - all - htc sense - clear data
But still make a full wipe installation is recommended

Yeah thanks.
Now it works. After i clear the sens data.
I had only sens lite at rc3.0

If you prefer Sense Lite you can try myONEdx

I had the sens lite because i thougt i have a better performance.
But now i think i stay at this rom. I like the look.
But now i do a full wipe and flash the rom again. The lookscreen is still wrong.
Thanks for your great work

I like the 3.6 revolution, can anyone show the way to flash.need someone who can advise.
probably best to odin to 2.1 but can do it without
go to recovery
wipe data/factory reset
clear cache
flash 3.3 first and reboot
then flash 3.6 straight away with the CWM app as an update (no need to wait 10 min or whatever)
let it do its thing then your good to go
he's releasing an update sunday (3.8) so could just wait till then
Just came back from oversea.
Very thank you for your explaination.

3.3 there if you need it then flash light/med/large through rom manager
is it i can choose light or med or full package rom
or
flash light rom first then med rom then full package rom?
sorry for asking.
then do i need to disable lagfix before flashing?

when i did it the light had to be flashed first but i think you can just flash whichever now
could always flash the light first anyway then whichever over just incase, it wont wipe
you can leave voodoo on but i disabled it just to be sure

Hmm. You on GB or ICS leak? If gb make sure you didn't forget to flash patch. Else it could be a bad download maybe. I'd try wiping again and ruling that out.

i am on the ics leak. i am reflashing scott ics de 1.2 . wiped manually and checked md5 .. am i missing something ?
Try Scott's clean wipe utility. Wipes for you properly.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1367591
Check your files size and compare it to Scott's download. If you wiped, flashed rom, then the kernel, I don't see why it should hang. Sounds like a bad download.

I did all the above, I have done this a million times and i am not sure why i am stuck right after the bootup video.
This is the strange thing, i reinstalled the sense 4.0 rom i had and it booted up fine. I just hate all sense 4.0 roms they are far from daily drivers.
Anyway If anyone else experienced this please pitch in

Worse case scenario, you can always relock bootloader and flash ICS RUU. Then flash from there once unlocked again.

Same happened to me. When I tried to come from 4.0 and nand restoring. So I just went to recovery wiped 3 times installed cleanrom 4.3 fresh from the zip went to bootloader installed the PH98IMG then let it boot then deleted the PH98IMG and restarted to recovery and nand restored and everything was good. Try that see if it works.

which is the best rom? i mean for flyer, ofcoz

i read this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610925) a while ago, and i saw many custom roms for Flyer, i currently at revol s-off + CWM + rooted + 2.3.4 + 2.27.707.1, which rom should i choose if i want a fully function (camera, BT, video, calling etc) + high spd + smooth rom? i got a SGT7.0Plus, so i don't think i'll be heading to HC again, hate that window bar at the bottom, kicks me out every time in the action game, fren told me to stick to stock GB + sense, but kind of boring with the 7 page x 16 apps, i wish to have more, any suggesstion?
:silly:
just download leedroid GB for a test, put the file to ext-sd card, nand back-uped, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe delcache, install rom.zip, reboot, and now my flyer is stuck on white screen, when i hold home button i see there is a setup program running, i waited 10 minutes like the tutorial said, the white screen still there, tought i might still need some time, so i leave it still and go for an animation, when back still in white page, am i missing something or what? already restore back to the previous GB rom now, can't let the thing kept like that(white screen), try to swim the forum tomorrow again
Anyone can help with the white HTC screen after flashing custom rom with CWM? I'm on soff, revolution CWM, rooted stock GB.
Or am I in the wrong section while asking this question? -.-||

I'm still getting stuck on white HTC screen, auto screen lock is activate, I think bout 10sec, HW button got function, power button can restart.
Do I have to use and to flash the boot img which extracted from the custom ROM zip? I saw some thread teach that way.
Oh, and I confirm I'd download the custom ROM for GB and not HC, leedroid and flyhigh, both having the same problem.

[Q] Revert to ICS

I'm currently rooted stock JB. I tried to revert back to ICS by:
- reboot to recovery
- flash ics stock kernel
- flash ics stock rom
However, after reboot, the phone was stuck at the animation boot screen.
1. Is it even possible to revert back to ICS?
2. If it is possible, what am I missing?
The reason I want to revert back is because of the proximity senser problem (phone gets blank durring call/voice mail) + google navigation crashes.
Not sure.
Did you wipe cache, dalvick, factory reset, and system?
Them since it sounds like you are s- on. Flash the kernel then rom. I haven't read anywhere that you can't go between JB and ICS.
Rather than the stock ROM i would try one of the custom ICS ones since they were all very far along in development.
Like viper 2.0, super LTE or ICS tranquility.

MikeyXDA's MeanBean rom has fixed all those problems AFAIK click the link in my SIG and have a look
I'm pretty sure SuperJelly has al those fixed as well
You will need to do a factory reset to go back, or restore a backup. I agree with trying MeanBean first to see if you like it. Although if navigation isn't working for you on stock, then it probably won't work on MeanBean either.
Sent from my icrap 2 using Tapatalk HD
I wiped everything. I also did a factory reset but it still didn't work. I then tried MeanBean and the proximity sensor issue is now gone ( haven't try navigation).
So I'm OK for now. Thank you for all the help.

so right now i am rooted with a stock rom (de-bloated by me) I would like to update to this here is what i plan to do help me out if I am missing something
make backup(done)
I would prefer not to wipe data but I probably should..
wipe davlik cache/cache
install ROM via CWM
then flash kernel in fastboot
I would like to update to the new radio if possible but saw where someone said that you have to be "locked or re-locked" to flash radio.img in fastboot.. is this correct.
if all else fails RUU back to stock or restore backup

Make a nandroid first then:
I flashed the boot.img (in fastboot in bootloader) that I linked at the bottom of my post (the one my Zone23, because it's from the OTA)
Booted into recovery and did a Factory Data Reset (if you dont there is a possibility that you will get a bootloop or wont boot at all)
Wiped Cache and Dalvik
Flashed the ROM then flashed the modules that come with the boot.img
Then either boot up or flash any other .zips
First you need to backup all of your sdcard to your desktop because you will lose it all when you proceed with the following: In order to get the latest radio you need to run fastboot oem lock to re-lock the bootloader then run the RUU to get back to stock then take the OTA and then unlock the bootloader again with the Unlock_code.bin file which I plan on doing later today

Rom has been Updated Shouldnt have anymore flashing issues
so i loaded your ROM today and here are my notes.
i downloaded the new version and moved the updater script to my zip.. ( I always unzip roms and de-bloat more and add my sounds, etc...)
I made a nandroid first.
then all i did was wipe davlik/ and cache.
Install update all went well booted up just fine
I was on elkay's 0.9.5 kernel on first boot so wifi didn't work so i flashed the stock kernel and modules.. wifi came back just fine
So i did not wipe data.. and on a side note now Angry Birds Star Wars HD (which I already had installed) works...
So far I have had no hiccups at all..
I did try to flash the new radio in fastboot just for kicks but it failed..

It will help anyone who whats just the stock 2.04 kernel to use with my rom but inside my .zip is that same boot.img but what Im thinking is that there isnt any code in my updater-script that tells it to write the boot.img to the boot partiton so that is most likely why it doesnt write it which i will fix in another update
