The last couple days I've been trying to get Google Voice calling to work through a SIP account via PBXes.com on my SGP 5.0 US. So far I have only got it to ring on incoming calls, but after answering it just continues to ring on the outgoing phone. When calling from my GP, there is know audio at all it just sets there saying "Calling..." and nothing happens. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Sounds like it could be a nat issue. Tried using stun?

No I never thought of trying that! Thanks, I'll let you know if it works.
Ok this is a noob question, but how exactly do you set a stun server with pbxes? I tried just setting the server as stun.pbxes.org. It registered ok but there was still no audio.
Ok I figured it out. It now has audio, but when i try to make a call, it says "Call could not be completed as dialed, please try again later." Any ideas?
Ok I figured it out now! I'm at the end of a network that goes through three different routers. I just connected to the second one and it all worked fine! But thanks so much for the help, krzee!!
Sweet! Glad I could give a nudge in the right direction

I have tried everything. I have searched all over the internet and I can't find anything. I don't hear an audible beep when another call is trying to come through.
I have call waiting enabled and I have all the volume turned up. Any ideas?

I have the same issue. I had a call coming in, and I didn't notice it until I saw the screen.
found it....
Ok... This drove me crazy with my wife's phone. Searched all the forums I could find with no luck.
Go to Settings, Call Settings, All Calls, Alerts On Call. Hers was on vibrate. I clicked sound and it works fine now. Off also works.
Hope this works for everyone.
I have been getting an "all circuits are busy" message while trying to access my voicemail *86 today. An incoming call gets the same message when trying to leave a voicemail.
Anyone else have/had this issue? I've only had GV setup for 3 days and its been great so far.
Thanks

Sounds like its not set up properly. *86 is not used for gv, but rather the market app. Also you need to forward your missed calls by dialing *71<your Google voice number>(send)

I was having the same issues last night. People calling me said that they were getting "all circuits busy" and "number not in service" while trying to leave me voicemail. I haven't changed my GV setup since I set it up months ago.
I haven't had any calls today yet, so I don't know if it's fixed or not.
Update: Just had a call go to voicemail and it worked just fine. There was a GV update yesterday in the market; I wonder if Google was having trouble with that...?

I haven't come across this being brought up before, and I certainly don't want to repeat thread topics, but is anyone else not able to forward calls through the Call menu in Settings? The option is greyed out.
I first noticed this when trying to get Google Talk set up for my voicemail, when the app was unable to adjust forwarding settings. Ultimately, I had to call T-Mobile so they could send missed calls to my GV number. The CSR couldn't figure out why he could access that setting but I couldn't, so he suggested I try a master reset, but I'm not ready to do something like that right now.

I'm on pure stock, and the call forwarding options work on my phone. That is I can get to the settings, I didn't try and forward calls.

On stock rooted 1.27.531.7 and I have the same problem. Will not let me set it to G Voice through the normal means. This worked on the factory software just fine.
Do this: dial **004*<number-forward-to>#
Ex: **004*15556667777#
Then call it.
The code wouldn't work for me, giving me a similar error as when I tried to set it up through GV.

Anyone else having trouble with G.V? Its installed fine. And I set the setting so it is supposed to ask every time I make a call. But it will not work. Had it running fine on my gs3 but I can't seem to make calls through it on my vzw g3. Any ideas? Thanks!
No issues here, but I have it set to always use Google.

Thanks. It was this Ring Central app I had downloaded for work that was messing it up. Thanks for the replies
I have noticed that when I place a call, I do not hear any ringing. I see a connecting message in the wailer & then I hear the persons voice when they pick up. Only had the phone about 3 weeks. Not sure if it is new or always done this. Kind of annoying. Any ideas? Thanks.
Pat.

I disabled VOLTE and WIFI calling and got the ringing back. I'm not sure if it was coincidental or not.
Same here. Easy fix just disable VOLTE. Calls still go through, if not but you dont know your connected until you hear the other person talking.

I have both of them off. Still not ringing.
That solved it for me...but I need HD calling so I am just dealing with it for now. I read in another thread the a guy did a complete factory reset and they solved it for them. I personally can not afford to loose my configuration so I haven't tried that method.

After I disabled Volte, I didn't hear any ringing on my first outgoing call, but after that it started ringing again
Only happens to me when I call Verizon numbers.

Don't bother. I tried it a few times and it did no good.. The only thing that worked was to disable the VOLTE. Hopefully we'll get 1 more update on this.. either MM 6.0.1 or Android N .

Hey all, I believe this is actually an issue with the new version of Google search, specifically if you have the in app voice search function enabled.
Go into Google, voice search and disable the in app option. Worked for me. I did not have to change any other settings.
I tried disabling google voice only but it didn't fix it. I disabled Voice Over LTE and WIFI calling and it fixed it.
I was just getting the same thing on my Verizon Samsung S9. Toggled "Advanced calling" (turned it off and then back on agin) and the ringing on outbound calls is back. I like that a lot better as opposed to calling into the abyss. I can hear that the call connected and is progressing.
