I have Samsung Galaxy S III and Nokia 603 (Belle) of my brother. I am on CM10.1 on my SGSIII, I tried NFC on my S3 with Nokia 603 but nothing happened on 603. S3 vibrated, beeped and even sent the image inward when I pressed on the image however nothing was going on with 603.
I even tried with stock ROM too but to no avail, so my question here is whether it's possible to get NFC working on Android with Symbian anyhow or it is impossible and if it's possible then what am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

Hello, I tryed to google but got lost in milion of test and reviews.. I have one short question.
I am about to buy second hand 10.1 and question: is there some kind of test screen (like it was on my galaxy s2 with entering *#0*# I could check all the basic functions of device)
So is there anything like that and how could I reach it?
I got samsung galaxy s3 (i9300) which in specs and on the box says smart ready (4.0) however no BLE, I searched and read and all I came up with was that it is but google and samsung are not matching so it is in the hardware but the software does not enable it.
I might got it, but my main question is, did someone already enable it??? it's been out on the market for so long and it such a popular product, why is it not enabled yet? can anyone help please?
What? S3 has Bluetooth. Can you explain what is not working more deeply?

Bluetooth Low Energy comes with android version 4.3. I suppose its already integrated and your normal bluetooth works like BLE.
The S3 4.3 firmware uses the 4.0 Bluetooth (BLE). I have a Polar H7 sensor and is working fine after the upgrade to 4.3.
Hi,
My Galaxy S3's display stopped working after contact with water. Touch works but display does not work.
Display and touch replacement(touch and display are embedded together in S3 so need to change both) costs around Rs.8000 ($131). But there is a phone named Galaxy S3 Neo which costs just Rs.12000 ($196) and is almost the same configuration of Galaxy S3 I9300.
I am not sure how S3 Neo differs from S3 I9300 in performance. Please suggest me whether I can replace the S3's display or go for brand new S3 Neo.
neo vs s3 intl
Does the neo have gorilla glass ? Make sure then buy . S3 i9300 is Exynos chipset and s3 neo i9300l is qualcomm . You decide , in my opinion go for the neo if possible as its a newer phone and more ram and posibility of a lollipop upgrade .
open the phone, clean it and make it dry and pray a lot...
but I think the situation is almost hopeless
It's time for device upgrade.
If you wish to keep the device, maybe look for screen replacement, make sure to get original replacement
Forgive me as it has been quite a few years since I've worked with Android devices.
We have some Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro 10.1" tablets that are having NFC issues after the update to Android 11. I've done some research and it seems this is a "known" issue yet there does not seem to be a fix, other that flashing Android 9 or 10. Basically there is a program we use for clocking in and out with NFC cards and the devices are enrolled in Intune. When the devices are not in Kiosk mode everything works fine, but when they are in Kiosk mode the NFC only works until the tablet goes to sleep. Once the tablet is woken up the NFC no longer works until we take it out of Kiosk mode. So if anyone knows a fix for this, that would be great, otherwise I was hoping someone knows where I can get the stock Samsung ROM and flash it back to 9 or 10. Thank you in advance.
