So I installed this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200985) a few days ago w/o much trouble. Today I updated the ROM to version 2.4 (first used wipe.zip and then the rom). When I rebooted my tab I got stuck at a bootloop (the ROM's logo keeps showing up) and it seems I'm unable to get into recovery.
AFAIK, I should get into recovery by pressing the VOLUME UP & and the power button simultaneously, but nothing happens when I do this. Getting into fastboot isn't a problem, but I just can't seem to get into recovery mode.
Can I access my recovery menu through the fastboot via the SDK manager? Did I use the correct buttons to get into recovery?
Thanks in advance
You should push on both Power Button and Volume Down buttons. Right after the Samsung logo shows, you will see two menus, let go of both buttons immediately and choose your recovery boot. i hope this will help your problem
I have a i9300 s3. I upgrade to 4.1.2 jb , my phone become safe mode. however i try to get out but i failed.
1. restart by press back button
2. restar by press volume up button and other also cant get out from safe mode.
downgrade to 4.0.4
I press volume down key+ home key + power to downloader mode, and downgrade to 4.0.4 by odin. after downgrade 4.0.4, i go to recovery mode, but my volume own button not working. i use odin running to cwm recovery mode, press up volume button until can wipe factory reset and reboot, it' out of safe mode. but the volume down button no working after boot. When I press volume down key+ home key + power it still can go into downloader mode.
After 1 week, my phone auto download software upgarde and install to 4.1.2, but it cant cause cwm recovery mode disturb it. after that my camera no function at all. now i wanna try to go downloader mode again, but my phone volume up button also become no working at all to go downloader mode, but it working when the phone is on.
Actually whats was going on?? how can i upgrade to 4.1.2 ?? or i just can stay at 4.0.4 but now my camera no working.
Anybody looking for this problem before?? :crying::crying::crying:
That's one hell of an unlucky upgrade. I don't know mine upgraded/rooted without problem. Can't you just return to stock once you're able to enter download mode?
Fail to understand the problem be specific with current problem .

First thing, and i don't pretend to be rude, write your question in the right way.
There are Forum Rules for all of US.
The second one, the download mode, is by pressing volume DOWN(not up)+HOME+POWER. The one you are choosing as far as i comprehend by you спасибоwords, leads totCWM (either stock or 3d party one).
The third, if you somehow managed to downgrade to ICS(4.0.4), just press OTA update
Cheers!

Actually when the phone boot on ICS 4.0.4 the volume up button is working and the volume down button is not working.
Ya, i know that the download mode is by pressing volume DOWN + HOME+POWER.
I can going to page WARNING!! a custom OS --------------- after need press Volume UP to continue and Volume DOWN to cancel, but the volume up and volume down button also not working.
Maybe is because my volume DOWN button problem, so make me headache.
I know that CWM (either stock or 3d party one). But i need it to wipe my factory reset after downgrade to 4.0.4 by Odin.

When it was JB 4.1.2, It will boot on SAFE Mode, However how many times i reboot , reboot by press back key or up volume button too.
I cant get off from SAFE mode.
At the moment, I try to downgrade to ICS 4.0.4 by Odin. I can going to download mode. after Odin pass, It stuck at the samsung logo.
I try to go to recovery mode by press VOLUME UP + HOME + POWER. I can go to recovery mode but the Volume DOWN not working and i cant go to wipe reset.
I going to download mode again and running PDA with CWM tar. I use CWM recovery mode to going to wipe reset by press VOLUME UP button only. Pls try to understand this.
Once I wipe reset, I can boot my phone on ICS 4.0.4. The moment all function ok, camera too. Just the Volume DOWN button not working.
I use it for a week, Software upgrade automatic but it failed. It stuck on CWM recovery mode. I try reboot again, the Volume UP button is WORKING, the camera not working. The big problem is I cant go to download mode again, just stuck a WARNING page, and my volume UP and DOWN also not working when i stuck a warning page.

I also have a button stucked, which you can easily see in the bootloader, as it scrolls automatically all the options. It is hw issue, but wanted to know if there is a kernel or someway in which I can disable the volume rocker entirely.
Is there anyway to disable safe boot when booted up into safe boot. I can install apps but they will not open due to the fact that I am in safe mode. Anything will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I'm pretty new to Android. I recently rooted my phone using Framaroot and it worked perfectly after reboot. Then I tried to install Sinhalese fonts using Sinhala Fonts Installer and after installing that, I uninstalled the app before restarting. Then I restarted the phone and it get stuck at the Huawei Logo and will not boot into launcher.
I tried to hard reset by going to recovery mode using Power + (vol up + vol down). (Fortunately I can go into the recovery mode.) Even if I factory reset the phone, the same situation is there. And some articles said to log in to fast boot mode by Power + Vol down, but it doesn't work and just boots into that Huawei logo.
As I read, to install a custom ROM, ClockWork Recovery has to be used, but I can't do it since I can't log into my phone.
Please help me on this. What has gone wrong? Is there any way I can make my phone alive? Or at least, is there any way that I can install ClockWork Recovery without booting into my phone, just using my SD card?
Thank you in advance..!!

Dear,
Don't worry. You just need to flash a new stock rom to get everything back., Huawei stock roms can be easily flashed onto the phone. Put the update.zip file in the recovery and simply Apply Update (flash) your rom.

I am facing a problem with huawei y511-u30, i have rooted my fone nearly 3 weeks ago with framaroot, every thing was working fine after reboot , i have installed many app, upto 3 weeks the fone was working absolutely fine and now suddenly it stuck at boot logo. my fone automatically turned off in night and turn On again in d morning with "scheduled power ON/Off" options in d setting. today when a wakeup i saw only boot logo.
i removed d battery and tried to restart but i could not, i can't go into recovery, when i press volume (-) and power button or vol (+) and power it stucks on same boot logo,
when i cahrge the mobile in power OFF mode it doesnot show battery indicator it again starts and stuck on boot logo "Huawei ASCEND"
it has default recovery
Please help. My s3 can only boot into twrp logo and stays there while flickering every few seconds. I have tried the volume up, power button and home button thing and still it does nothing but reboot to the same place. In short, I cannot enter recovery mode to re-flash my phone.
What about download mode? Volume down Power and Home button?

What about entering download mode ? As it was stated above ? Then you can download last stock firmware for your region and flash it via Odin. Good source of original firmware is //samsung-updates.com/. Odin is available at many sites. If you run Win7 (or higher) on your PC you do not need any additional software, if not - proper drivers to see your mobile will be required. Then, if you do not want to stay with stock ROM, you can flash custom recovery and finally custom ROM chosen from dozens of them...
currently i am stuck with a "android system recovery 3e". i am suppose to apply a superuser update but none of the files work. i just want to get rid of it and get a new or default recovery partition
flash via odin recovery from https://twrp.me/Devices/
problem solved
i found one of the instruction telling me to hold VOL DOWN. before countless other instructions been telling me to hold VOL UP thus i didnt get the "download mode"
