I used to use FL studio 4 on my PC. You could make awesome tracks!! Is the android version as capable or is it just meant for entertainment? £13's a bit pricey as well if its not really very capable. A lot of people on the play store are complaining of latency issues as well.

can iphone games be ported?

the only thing I miss from my iphone days is the games..sfiv, Bruce Lee dragon warrior..I'm wondering if those can be ported?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
It depends on how they were made.. new games made in unity can be ported relatively easy. Though most games are made in c++ and it is compatible with android and ios. The main issue is: will the game producers port the game? Well its up to them... beacuse its no easy job.. if the games is famous then having in android will generate more revenue.. but with recent grow of android i think as from now pretty much all games that come out for iphone will come out to android too... or they will be losing money :/

No ****! I want my Tiny Wings back Mother F*cker!!

Wait? Advertisers aren't living in an iOS world anymore

Just saw a "Party City" on tv and noticed that everyone was using Androids (Samsung GS3 or GN2) and not iPhones. I just remembered back in the day when every commercial that would reference an App or downloadable content or a website would show the actors wielding their iPhones and i just thought it was interesting. Hate to sound like a fanboy but is this a sign of the times... Android (or Samsung) is becoming more of the recognized and marketable brand? What do y'all think? Have you noticed this in commercials? Which companies if so.

I agree. Android seems to be growing rapidly.

Yeah I've been seeing this more often now too. Its funny but when I go out I generally notice more non iPhone devices not maybe I just see what I want

I've noticed this too lol

Same here, commercials are promoting the play store more and more. Sometimes they don't even mention the Apple store.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Well you want to advertise to the masses. More people have android in some shape and form than they do iOS.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
I think it's definitely on the rise, however I think it's also easier to market something that will work on every phone and not just some (as android comes in so many shapes and sizes and an iphone is an iphone [is an iphone]), which is why I think adverts and game Dev usually went to iOS first. But sure, Android will be king sooner than later, if not already.
Current:
VZW GNll running B10, 6,200MAh Hyperion with a Dremel'd box of otters & iPad 2
Graveyard: Droid - Droid 3 - T-Mo G2X - iPhone 4S
Definitely seeing iphones less and less. Except for doctors that have to use IOS programs, now people at work use android these days including quite a few converts

Anyone bought any playstation mobile games?

I'm a bit apprehensive, since I want games that will look good on this 10 inch screen and it pixelly abominations. Anyone bought anything yet, and have any recommendations specifically for the tablet?

Rebel is probably the best game on PSM, also have Alien Breed which is decent but none of the games actually, properly support a DualShock 3 controller. Some buttons don't work where others do
Would like to try some. But Sony Have yet to make it available through all of europe.. They advertize Playstation certification, but it's not really there..

[Q] Android Kit Kat Bar

Can some body please tell me where I can actually purchase a Kit Kat bar with the Android on the front. My three year old daughter loves the Android Mascot and seriously wants one of the Kit Kat bars. I've been to multiple gas stations, 7-11's, and Best Buys. No one has ever seemed to heard of it. Odd request I know...

I'm still searching for these in Brazil haha! I think in some weeks they will spread more, let's not forget it was released not long ago, so I believe it will only be in the biggest economy centers in the world (like NY, Tokyo, São Paulo, etc.)

Looking for a new tablet...

I've been looking in to buying myself a tablet, but I want one that's fast and smooth running. Ipad is great because of how smooth it runs and transisittions between pages, but I want something that my S4 can interact with. Any suggestions? I'd like to root and flash ROMs on whatever tablet I end up with so obviously ipad and surface are out. I don't know much about any of the others out there so any help would be fantastic!

One of the new Nexus 7's possibly? It's pretty much universally agreed that it's the best if not one of the best Android tablets on the market right now. Also, it's super easy to unlock the bootloader since it's a Nexus device and the development community around it is huge.

Agreed, I had the first generation Nexus 7 and absolutly loved it! Im hoping to get the 2nd gen somewhat soon. And they are very cheap compared to iJunk tablets
I thought the Nexus devices were phones.... Am I just that dumb? Lol... Can these tablets be purchased at a best buy or only online?

There are actually 2 Nexus tablets on the market right now... the Nexus 7 and the Nexus 10. The 2013 Nexus 7 is an excellent tablet you can buy directly from the Play Store or other places online. The Nexus 10 is also worth considering if you want a bigger tablet, and it also has the BEST speakers of any tablet on the market. Personally, I'm waiting for them to come out with the "updated" Nexus 10 like they did with the Nexus 7. Either way, as far as Android tablets go, they are both winners. The only other tablet I would recommend taking a look at is the new Samsung Note 10.1 - it has a gorgeous display and all of the productivity power of the Note software and stylus. It's just a little too pricey in my book though.

As far as performance goes, what would you guys suggest? I don't want something that seems laggy or gets bogged down by putting too much stuff on it.

I would get the Nexus 7 2013 model. Can't go wrong with that one especially for the price!

Go on youtube and watch pocketnow's videos on tablets. They have the best reviews/comparisons and will help you figure this out fast.
Can't go wrong with a nexus 7 2013. I own one and it really is butter smooth and definitely worth the money. It's also my first tablet. Great investment!

Yeah I think a bunch of these devices had wifi issues. Pop on over to the Nexus 7 (2013) forum on XDA for details. The 7's are great and inexpensive but ASUS isn't exactly known for their QC. Good luck!

If you read the OP he wanted a tablet that would work well with his S4 and wanted some suggestions. I don't see any problem with that being posted here.
Reading thoroughly helps... My bad
