Hi,
Is there a trick to use the gyroscope instead accelerometer to rotate the screen? Or, is there any "Hack" to improve rotating speed? iPad have a very nice rotation.
Btw, I have Galaxy S2.
Thanks.

Hey guys!
Does anyone know if there's an app or any other way to get the orientation to change CLOCKWISE? I know it's meant to go counterclockwise, but it would be awesome if the orientation could be turned clockwise as well.
Hello all,
Does anyone know how to make landscape orientation work through HDMI? When I rotate the phone to landscape, the image on the screen rotates but uses the same screen real estate as the portrait on my tv, it is just at a 90 degree rotation.
I would love to actually use my phone to watch videos on the TV screen
Thanks
It's gotta be your tv or tv settings. Mine works flawlessly.

I just got the same problem, and it was fine before, I just recently switched build.prop files though, so it may be why

P3's Pre-rooted Gingerbread release
When I put my Galaxy Tab 10.1 wifi on a flat surface in portrait orientation, Androsensor tells me the tablet's Y orientation is 4.1 degrees. For general day-to-day use this isn't a big deal, but it makes a noticeable difference for games, e.g. Doodle Jump.
Is there a way to calibrate the orientation sensor system-wide? Based on some things I've found through searching, /data/misc/akmd_set.txt seems to have something to do with the orientation sensor, but I can't find anything on how to edit that file to calibrate it, or if it's even possible.
I'm using P7510 CM9 nightlies if it makes a difference, but the stock rom had this problem as well.
My Samsung Tab just fall in the floor and now it loose the rotate functionality.
After going to setting's -> horizontal calibrate. I've managed to make it rotate but only landscape.
1 - Is it possible to have only the vertical sensor broken ?
2 - Is there a way to calibrate way vertical, as the only option availabe is horizontal ?
All the level/bublle app's show's horizontal rotation but no vertical.
Many thanks (sorry my english)
Just a side note! I can play modern warefare 3 with gyroscope just fine i and can see 3d gallery just fine to, what the hell?
Hello,
I have ZTE V967S and annoying problem with the g sensor. I installed live wallpaper that simulates parallax effect but it is not working properly. Even when the phone is placed on the table it is moving like I am shaking the phone. I installed some sensor test app and it is showing constant change in the xyz values under accelerometer tab. I am with custom rom but with the stock was the same. My question is is there a way to calibrate it or lower its sensitivity. I am sorry, english is not my native language and I am writhing from my phone. so
