http://phandroid.com/2011/11/30/box-net-also-giving-lg-owners-50gb-of-free-storage/
I just tried it on my Telus Optimus One running CM7. Created a box account and it instantly gave me 50 GB of storage. It's not even a phone I use day to day but because I owned something LG, I was able to get the offer.
I presume this will work on all LG Androids... every Optimus that exists and runs 2.1 or above.
Worked for me. It's a pity that there is no desktop sync...

You can mount box.net as a network drive.
http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/mount-boxnet-account-in-windows-explorer.html
or you can use netdrive free for home users. http://www.netdrive.net/download.html
Thanks. I'll try. If it works, it would be perfect.

Yeah I did it! Now I don't need to go @ box.net to upload new files, just drag and drop into the folder
Just downloaded the app, thanks for the tip!

'Google Goggles' on ARMV6 systems, Like our Galaxy Y !!
Here is the Market Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sImNvbS5nb29nbGUuYW5kcm9pZC5hcHBzLnVudmVpbCJd
As you see it doesn't work it says: 'This app is not compatible with your Samsung GT-S5360.'
To make it work download this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/50eymr1rxoibi4p/g181.apk
Install it like any other APK and there you go !
This file is ripped from the store and it works on ARMV6 devices ! (Y etc..)
Enjoy !!!

work great !!
Not a big issue...
Goggles always did work on ARM v6... using it since its launch... however we cannot download it from market due to some of google's "wisest" policies. btw, most people dont know that those market apps which shows not supported, are actually supported and working, just one need to download it from other sources. and i think the number of those other sources are quite high... however, sharing is welcome, as it is a free app.
UC Browser too is supported, but play store says not compatible....by the way, great share.

the app works since version 1.8 on our phone and the 1.8 version is much better, because it has no spam popups, and when in new version a logo from copyright firms/brands/bands shown on the pic what u have maked for googles it wont work, because there comes copyright warning and something and it collect userdata en masse from your phone(its google).i prefer version 1.8.
This is the worst app from Google.... Never find it useful...

Hi,
I was wondering what Internet & Antivirus people were using on thier smartphones..
I know theres quite a few options, such as AVG, Norton, etc..
But what do people recommend and why?
Thank you in advance for any replies..
You can get the full version of Norton as a trial for 90 days from the Samsung app store. Then switch to avg from playstore

Thank you, but what i'm asking is if there are any alternatives that people recommend/prefer??
I don't and have never used an anti-virus... It's really unnecessary.
Use Avast Mobile Security from the Play Store

Google decided to remove all adblocking software from play store, as they are in conflict with market rules.
Where can we find those adblock softwares from now on?
Sorry for my bad english... there are boud to be some grammar errors, since I haven't had any practise in months...

Just search for one of those existing applications that Google removed on Google. Search for an .APK file.

Absolutely awesome, but his is getting hold of app that needs root and how do I know this 3rd party market has safe stuff on it? Want the AdFree app but don't want any Malware.
Anyone has URL of reputable and trusted 3rd party Android app markets?
Try Apk mania it's quiet good

can Add free be used to block the random play store and browser pop ups?
Or is there something else to do this?
I'm rooted running Blisspop and I haven't downloaded any games or anything else that might have caused it. (that I know of) I have AdAway on my phone already but it's not stopping it from happening.
not sure what I can do, any help would be appreciated thanks
