I have a lenovo a690 that I would like to add Vietnamese to. I have tried morelocale2 but it doesn't really translate much. If anything could show me how to decompile the framework res and the settings and then somehow add the language module into the apk and make a zip file for it, I would sincerely appreciate it. Thanks for your time.
I know basic adb commands and have android SDK set up...but that's as far as my knowledge goes.

Hi guys. Can anyone tell me where I can find the language files in the X10? My language is not one of the languages that is included with the phone and I would like to translate another language and add it to the phone. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.
use more locale 2 it should help
Thank you. I will try that.
That app, MoreLocale 2 only makes like a locale. I cannot translate the whole phone with it. I want to be able to translate every word in the phone, every string. Does anyone know how I can do this?
Can anyone please reply?
as far as i know the language files would be in system/lib folder

I am attempting to make a forum reader of my own for AndroidArea51. I was wondering if anyone has the apk so I can look at the code and see how it's done.
I WILL NOT be copying any code directly from the app, I just want to see how the information is pulled from the forums online onto the app.
Thanks.
Yes its on Google market.

If you mean by decompiling the apk to java or smali? Its not going to help you very much...
The XDA app is based off of the Tapatalk App. If you want to add support of your forum the best/easiest way would probably to go through Tapatalk.
I've seen several ROMS with the language to be chosen the Portuguese just that when I go in system applications are all in English, and it bothers me a bit. I wonder how to translate an application.
thank you now, and sorry my bad english.
It's really a hard work, you have to decompile the APK, edit their XML file and then recompile it
