[Q] [XT912] 4.2.2 ROMs - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hey guys. I'm new to the Razr. I have it rooted and installed Safestrap recovery v3.11.
I have backed up my stock ROM and am now looking to install some custom ROMs.
I'm wanting to try out a 4.2.2 ROM... what, in your opinion, is the MOST stable 4.2.2 ROM at the moment?

try LiquidSmooth 2.2.1
2.1 version worked well to me, just that mms wasnt working. But I think it's just my phone. It's stable and smooth

I like either LiquidSmooth or Avatar they are both great for me.

I PAC man its stable and has a lot of customization

try droidrzr.com they have great support for CDMA verizon droid OG and Maxx devices.

I use Cyanogenmod 10.1 which is based on 4.2.2. However, it's still in its nightly phase so it's not officially stable yet. Use safestrap 3.11 for it.

It depends are you wanting to get on the newest or what. I personally have to ROMs that I've ported and they're very stable

I would normally say flash to ICS. But! There is the chance of the EU bug. Therefore I would try to flash to jelly bean first if your on stock and rooted maybe flash a custom froyo then go up to jellybean. Don't forget gapps

[Q] GE GS4 Verizon SCH-1545 MK2

I flashed [ROM] [G.E.] [4.2.2] [AROMA] [VZW] GoogleEdition.v6.0 09/11/13 using SAFESTRAP, but when i reboot there is no display. I know it installed correctly because the buttons work accordingly to the sounds responds i get. What did i do wrong?
That is 4.2 versus 4.3 not the same. Safestrap runs based off the kernel you have as stock, you in the other hand are running mk2 kernel which is 4.3 kernel. That rom is 4.2.2. If only you were on me7.

There actually is but has not been ported over here, but even so 4.3 ge roms have moved towards a more Aosp kernel so it will not work with safestrap anymore.

Where would I be able to find it? And do I need to use cwm to flash it? Sorry for the noob questions

Running an nontw 4.3 ROM after MJ9 firmware

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install the pacman paranoid 3.99 rom on my note 2 but whenever I install it, I get no signal or internet connectivity. I can turn on WiFi though. I already tried using the latest cwm, twrp and philz but none of them work.
My note 2 was unlocked back in 2012 when vraljb was out and I recently flashed the mj9 firmware to run alliancerom.
Anyone have any idea how to flash a 4.3 non tw ROM after upgrading to MJ9?
Do I have to Odin back to 4.1.2 (like vraljb) in order for it to work properly?
Or is my phone just acting up and people are able to go back and forth between nontw 4.3 ROMs, 4.3 tw ROMs and 4.4.2 non tw ROMs freely?
Thanks in advance!

I would have to say its your phone.. I am able to go back and forth with no issues.. You sure no one else on that ROM is experiencing those issues?
I flop back and forth from Nebula to PA 4.4.2

I can swap between AOSP 4.4.2 roms and TW 4.3 roms, but not AOSP 4.3 and the other two.
However, I was able to get PACMAN 4.3 running fine, so I'm okay. Strange that the others don't work though..

I wanted to go back to 4.3 AOSP for a few reasons
4.3 is the last version of android with browser reflow
Pacman and paranoid roms have halo built in, and runs smoother than xhalofloatingwindows
:good: thanks for replying!
