Hello guys, here is the thing, my razr is currently on stock 4.0.4 ics ( tried to use safestrap but because I can only boot in bp tools it won`t work ) and I want to upgrade it to jellybean 4.2.
Can I just flash the fastboot file or is there something I should do?

Install Boot Menu Manager in PlayStore Here. You can boot without bp tools after installing the recovery. The fastboot files are for stock roms only. So you will have to download the rom and gapps and flash it in the recovery
I know, but I want stock jellybean for my stock rom. I`ve tried miui with bbm it was ok, but I really want jb

What do you mean by stock jelly bean? The official jelly bean update has released. Or do you mean by stock android? You can install Cyanogennod 10.1 . You can find lots of roms in the development section.

after you have backup CID and your kernel you can restore them just to be sure
you can flash rom in second system (webtop partition). To switch, reboot into BMM, flash desired kernel, reboot

Hello, guys!
I could not found another thread about my specific problem here.
So, I'm sorry if there's one already...
I have installed CyanogenMod 10.1 (JB 4.2.2) Nightly on my XT910.
All good.
When I installed back "BootMenu Manager", it said that my bootloader was not hijacked.
So, I do hijacked the bootloader and rebooted the phone.
And here my problem begins.
My bootloader is bricked!!
I could not found a way to hijack it again.
It is booting directly to Fastboot and waiting for a valid flash.
I was looking for some custom ClockWorkMod img recovery files, but I'm not lucky at all.
Please, is there a way to unbrick my phone?
Thank you very much
You can always flash fastboot files to get back to stock which you can find in the dev section ( flash with rsd lite )
But be sure to flash correct fastboot!! If you were on ics flash ics fastboot, if you were on jb flash jb fastboot
Do you know which system version you had previous to flashing 4.2.2 ?

Hi!!
My previous version was 4.0.4.
The version 4.2.2 worked perfectly before I try to manualy update BMM 0.2.7 to 0.3.4.
A friend recomended me to try the oficial rom from Motorola (version 4.1.2).
It replaces the bootloader, the kernel and the system itself.
Now it's working perfectly, but I lost root =(
Anyway, thank you very much for the help!!!
I'll be carefull next time

Forwarded from my other thread post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2473982 , I have 2 questions.
1. Which thread guide me to flash to custom rom straight way from HC 3.2 stock samsung 10.1 P7510 to JellyBean custom roms ? including Nandroid backup ?
What I know , flashing from 3.2 to 4.1 method must be in a correct step avoiding brick or I Should use the traditional method , 3.2 to ICS then Jelly bean ? such as kernals base issue ?
2. There are so many custom roms avaliable. I would like to know , which rom works the best with compatibility and smooth UI ? Camera fix and etc ?
Appreciate any help

First...to which ROM is the best...depends on you're style and device. All devices aren't equal...even when they are the same variant. But I like the 4.3 ROMs.Look at my SIG to see which one I'm running today...Lol.
Now..on to you're rooting. You most definitely need to update to 4.0.4 ICS..I have a guide after you're on that version so you can root and stay stock or flash a custom ROM.But you need the ICS boot loader to flash almost all of the new jelly bean ROMs, if not all of them.I believe when you do the official update from kies it will install that boot loader.( never had to as my device was on 4.0.4 unrooted ).
Back up you're tab to you're PC before you go updating..The update might wipe sdcard, not sure. And in case the update goes side ways on ya.
Let me know if you need any help.

Getting to the safe side , the best is using traditional flashing to ICS then to JB.
I am currently rooted for HC.The ordering , I need to flash it to samsung ICS first ? which mean , I need to unroot my device ?
Or I can just flash to custom roms ICS ?
Currently , stuck at this point.Which is the correct procedure ?
Flash stock ICS first using Odin first. Then you can flash to any version you want.

I have upgraded my device from stock ICS to stock Jelly Bean, after that to Cyanogenmod 11 Nightly, and I want to try new roms and try the stock JB some more (I only tried it for half a day or so), so I'm wondering if the downgrading process is the same as the upgrading process ? Do I just have to transfer the rom+gapps to SD card, clear cash and flash or there's something to do before that ?
NOTE : I don't wanna use ODIN .... It doesn't get along with my device

If you want stock jb for that you have to use Odin.
