Would this battery be worth getting? - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was looking at replacement batteries on eBay, and I found this one. Would it be worth buying?

Always go for original batttery. Buy a couple, with a wall charger if needed. Forget these fake promise batteries!

I totally agree. They don't last any longer - instead you risk destroying your phone!

Ah, okay. Thanks for letting me know! I'll be sure to not buy one.

Battery
I own one of these, after a "inspection" discovered that it contains 2 1200mah cells connected in a serial circuit. The battery lasts a bit more than original but doesnt worth the bulkyness.
sorry for my bad english.

I recently bought AKKU Polarcell battery and it work just fine, lasting a little bit longer than original.2100mah

Unless you want your pocket/house on fire, PLEASE go for original battery/chargers

its a good battery is 3500 mAh while the original in only 1800 mAh, but its more thicker so they sell a new back cover to fit it ... those batteries stay longer

Anyone bought the Seidio 3500 mAh battery?

Hi,
Has anyone bought this monster for $69.95?
Innocell 3500mAh Extended Life Battery
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/bacy35htp2-bk.htm
And/or how does it compare with the Mugen?
The Seidio site says: " Adds only 3-4mm to your device" now folks that is millimeters according to Seidio. So, I'm curious how they're doing that.
Anyone please chime in with a review and some realistic pictures.
I'd rather use 2x 2000mAh batteries that fit my phone

First of all, it still says "coming soon". I had the version they did for the Treo Pro, which definitely doubled the life I was getting with the stock 1800mah battery. Yes, the phone was bigger, front to back. No, it wasn't inappropriately bigger or heavier. The cover looked like it was designed with the phone having priority over the battery & actually made handling the phone easier.
The equivalent Mugen Treo Pro 3600mah battery had, to put it kindly, very mixed reviews.

lmaooooooooooo.....
I have one on order... Still waiting...
Sorry for the zombie post but has anyone gotten this? did you like it? quality?
I am seeing them for around $60 ($26 cheaper than the mugen)
is it really 3500mah? is the back universal? I notice the mugen has a SPECIFIC model for each branding (verizon - sprint - gsm)
but the seido only seems to have one? will it (the back) fit the sprint tp2?

Looking for charging dock for extended battery

I asked the folks at Mugen if they have one that will fit their extended 5400 mAh battery. I want to be able to recharge my spare battery while I'm out with my phone. They don't have one, but the rep pointed me to this one:

Does anyone have this charger? Is there a distributor or vendor in North America I could buy from? It is $13 from TVC Mall, but adding on shipping and PayPal fees brings it to about $26. :silly:
Hrm, I wonder if the extended battery will fit in the rear charging bay of this Hyperion cradle. As long as their isn't a lip or other protrusion that might get in the way of a thicker battery, this might work:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006QBKTCG/
The Hyperion cradle will charge the extended batteries. Have one sitting at home that I use all the time.

Thanks for also letting me know that this cradle will work! I use it currently at my desk and I like it a lot. Now I'm going to like it even more
ADDITION:
While I was charging my phone today at the desk, I just wanted to charge my other battery. So as I was charging the spare battery I noticed that the right side plug-in charges BOTH the main phone and spare battery.

battery doors?

has anyone tried the aftermarket battery doors? what i want to do is just get a door that actually protects the camera portion of the phone so i can put the phone down easily without worrying. the reason why i want to avoid a case is because i love the slimmness of the phone. dont want ANY bulk at all. an aftermarket battery door that is slightly thicker to compensate for the camera offset would really help. anyone used those?
Lots of threads here in the accessory section, you just have to look and read. The Samsung Qi battery door is thicker than the stock Samsung door
SwiftKey'ed from my White Sprint Note 3 via XDA Premium
Try the baseus yuppie back cover on aliexpress.com. ..bought one from there . Can guarantee that the camera is protected. 7$

Okay I have to admit that isn't worth the money.
Which one did you get though???
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Free mobile app
something like the first one.
but i really wonder WHY it does that!
I mean... i used the original Sony Wallcharger! 1.5A and just pluged it (with the sony cable) in the back of the charger!
Then the phone wen't out of battery and died... restartet after 5 minutes, and then i booted into the OS.
Thats the only reason i can imagine why it would charge so slowy. i mean.. i used exact that same wall charger via microUSB and it worked fast and fine!
i mean, how the hell would they limit the Ampere flowing trough the dock ? some included resistors?
If i have to much time i'll try and open it. but i could swear the cheapest way would be a simple (two...) from the microUSB port to the magnets. And this is chinaware! gotta be the cheapest way!

[Q] Best Slim Extended Battery?

Which is the best extended slim battery that will fit in a normal case and battery door? I seen a few 4700mAh batteries, but other buyers claimed in negative feedback that they were fake or not reporting the correct size, so I was wondering if someone could link me to a trusted and factual extended slim battery that reports the size it claims to be.
Not sure, but I know only one genuine-ish battery seller, which is mugen power. I'd advise you to check the link below. There are both slim extended and extended version (extended version comes with additional back cover due to enlarged size, but slim extended can be used with OEM back cover)
http://www.mugenbattery.com/samsung-galaxy-note-3/
My waiting and holding off paid off, just won this lot on eBay for 60 bucks! It's the Power Pack Note 3 Edition, hell haha now I need to buy one of those external chargers to keep one extra battery juiced up, good thing I found this auction, been needing to get a OEM USB Note 3 Cable too.

Unless someone has patented some new type of battery technology, there's no cramming more mAh into the same size battery.
Plenty of people report anecdotal "well it seems longer!" type stuff, but only one person bothered to scientifically test it with meters and the bother of completely draining and testing different claimed batteries.
Best to just buy an extra Anker or OEM battery not claiming to have 4 billion mAh into the same size battery.
