So, I've followed up on all the Netflix Jellybean issues through the forum quite intensely, and am still having a Netflix issue. A little background:
After I bought the tablet, Netflix worked fine. Then three months ago, it crashed for the first time.
After that, it'd crash 1 out of every 60 times. A month later, 1 every 30. As of last month, it was crashing 1 out of every 3 times I tried to watch something -- the Netflix circle would just go around and around and around, and then go back to it.
Yesterday, it started to crash with everything. It'll get to the movies/play menu, but once I click on a video, I just get the spinning circle o' doom.
I've done the video quality adjustment and have done everything except going 100% stock -- there doesn't seem to be a clear and concise thread on how to return it 100% factory and erase absolutely everything (or maybe I'm just not looking clear enough). I'm not sure if going back to stock would help where it continually degraded over the months..
Anyway, have any others experienced this on the first gen Galaxy Tab? And are you experienced on how to fix it by chance?..
If you flash a stock rom via odin and you do a factory reset in stock recovery, you are 100% stock.
Lol
Not a netflix user sorry.

I encountered similar problem with my tab.
Got it fixed by wiping EVERYTHING and reverting back to the stock - HC3.1.
Then netflix worked flawlessly.
Soon after, I flashed custom rom -cm10.1- and can confirm that netflix is working no problem.
Give it a try and good luck.

Hello everyone,
To be honest, it's been some time since I've been here, back when I knew how everything on this forum worked...
I kinda forgot, so I'm just posting this HELPME!? thread
This is my problem:
About 1.5 years ago I downloaded a ROM, and put it on my phone, and it was working just fine. However, 3 weeks ago it became really annoying, i'll explain what my problem was:
My phone would randomly freeze when i was doing things, these things could vary from "sending a text message" to "opening my 4th opera tab".
After that it wouldn't respond unless I reset it. However, when starting up again after resetting it would do a few possible things.
1. It's freeze at the first startup screen.
2. It's keep switching between unlock and "pin-screen", and when it was working again, it'd freeze.
3. It'd start up, and after about 5 seconds buzz like 5 times, then freeze.
When i left it on frozen the battery and phone would turn very hot as well =(
So, I tried a hard reset, but that didn't work.
After that i went to the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591784
I followed the instructions, installed the right Radio (2.12.50), and installed the ROM ( Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5.NLD.Cookie.2.0.Jul.07.7z ).
I remembered how to intall these things, so I think i've done that right.
So, after that it seemed to be working fine, and I was really proud and happy.
Now my phone has frozen again, and starting up was an issue again...
Does anyone know what my problem is? And what would be even better, what i can do to solve it?
Please let me know <3
Adios <3
Little Update:
So, I've been carrying my HTC HD2 around with me again, and then it started again...
It froze when I tried to send a text, and after that would freeze or vibrate (a few times) during the start-up...
It's really anoying =( If I'd have to estimate my phone's uptime a day...
It used to be 24h a day, now it's more like... 4 hours a day, with 2/3 hours of trying to get it working :Z
That could be hardware related. Possibly processor overheating. I would download the latest stock rom and fash it to see if it sorts the problem. If not it will need to be sent of to HTC to be replaced.
here are some observations:
Every so often the hardware keys stop working. (soft keys seem fine) Quick fix is put unit into standby then unlock and keys work again.
Lookout Mobile: while doing a backup the system shuts down for some reason.
I just upgraded my wife's g-tab yesterday to G-Harmony. She hasn't had any of the issues that you mentioned.
From what I can tell from the main thread, you need to completely wipe the gtab before flashing the rom. Here's (Basically) what I did.
Formatted each and every mount point
Cleared each and every cache
Connected to my computer via USB
Flashed the Rom in.
Booted and let it sit about 20 minutes before I did anything.
Downloaded a Term emulator and ran V6.
Everything pretty much seems to be ok. Every once and a while she experiences an issue with an app or two after it sits running for a long period of time but a reboot seems to fix it.
Hope this helps.
Other issue observations...
After loading G-Harmony on my wife's tablet this weekend, I've noticed a few things (complaints from her).
* After running for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours, system will get very slow and eventually just locks.
* Browser simply goes to a white screen
* Audio stops running (I found a thread that said to turn off GPS and reboot. I've tried that, but I don't know if it has made a difference yet.).
That's all for now. Is anyone else seeing anything like this?
There is a new ics rom by jamcar. Try it out. I did and it runs very good.
Thanks.
I'll take a look at it. Not sure if my wife will give up her tablet or high scores (again) but I'll see how she reacts. ;o)
[Q] Please Help Me: Rooted Phone & Weirdness After Factory Reset & Failed ROM Flash
So I rooted my SGS4 a few months after getting it from VZW. I was fine with it simply being rooted for over a year and finally decided there was a few things I no longer wanted to live with. I started going down the path of flashing a ROM and after what I felt was enough research settled on the one that would work with my phone. Or so I thought. Short story is it did not and I found out later it wasn't compatible. Prior to flashing said ROM I created a backup and did a factory reset and wipe like a good little boy. Well, I think this is what caused the issues I'm now experiencing. I'll start with the few I can think or right off-hand as being the man annoyances but I reserve the right to add more later as they come up.
So, w/o further adieu, here's the issues I'm having, numbered for our convenience.
1) Whenever I boot up my phone I get the 'Android is Upgrading' after every single reboot with about 62 items 'upgrading' so it takes a while. I use my phone a lot and carry spare batteries that I change out every time it gets low so this can be several times a day and many times the wait of several minutes is quite inconvenient. As I found in a search, I tried using an app called 'Lucky AppManager' to clear the ODEX files and it reboots and I do it again a few times and it still doesn't seem to do any good.
2) for some reason all of my contacts has a little SIM card next to them that I don't recall seeing and it now won't let me edit any of them to add or remove information. This is annoying.
3) This one had been going on for a bit prior to me attempting to flash a ROM so I had hoped at minimum it would be resolved after the reset. Nope. Power down times are very slow. It used to be whenever I powered it down it took only a dozen or so seconds. Even less right when I got it. Then, one day, it took a minute or two to completely power down and has taken that long every since. Annoying.
There was something else but as I type this I'm drawing a blank. Any help that anyone can help me on any of the above would greatly help me.
Thanks!
p.s. This is a duplicate thread since I was so rudely made aware that I had posted to the wrong subforum. Sometimes this forum earns is rep. Sorry to those who genuinely care because a few bad apples ruin it for everyone.

If you're on nk1 or ng6, have you tried going back to nc5 via odin? It sounds like you need to flash the full wipe nc5 and start over from scratch.
Hello All you Android Whizzes out there,
I am having a NEW problem with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phone running 6.0.1.
as of sometime yesterday, for no reason I can fathom, the graphics for virtually all the games on my phone have gone all Blurry making the game unusable. All the non-game Apps appear to work just fine, but then they generally have static graphics.
I am worried there is something wrong with MY phone, but in a quick Google search, I found someone else reported the exact same problem just a few hours ago??
Anyone hear of this or have a clue as to what may be happening? is it a malware? Any and all help would be appreciated, and I hope the XDA community will be kinder than where that poor other person posted their query!
Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks to Ekrezem...
I looked at the Game Optimizing Service and it had been updated. I simply removed the updates going back to factory and everything worked!
You actually found it on a google search? May I know where you found it?
I just got it happening to me earlier today as well (about 10h? ago), and I still do. Hoping for some answers since I couldn't find it on google... Or I'm just bad at keywording, lol.
Mine is on a Samsung Galaxy S6 - Verizon, though.
Edit: I think I got mine fixed, but not sure. So far none of my games are being blurry, though.
You can follow this maybe? https://forum.supercell.com/showthr...esolution-and-blurry-screen-while-playing-CoC
As for me myself, I have package disabler pro. I went and disabled Game Optimizing Service from it, and rebooted. Boom, no blur somehow.
My previous temporary fix were rebooting until the game I want to play were not blurry, lol.
Thank you! This started happening to me as well yesterday. Could not figure it out, and all google searches and youtube vids came up empty on this subject. By chance, i found this thread just now, and it fixed the problem. I thought my phone was going bad....lol. Thank you!!!

Me too, and I'm in that period of wanting to sell my phone and buy a new one. lmao
Glad it works, so I guess its not just me.
Thank you PiperTim and Ekrezem.
I'm not very tech savvy, but you gave me enough to figure it out. Here's how I fixed it. I went into settings, application manager, game optimizing service and then clicked on more, and undo updates, back to factory reset . After doing this, it was still blurred so then I did a force stop on the game optimizing service and then everything worked again. All my games are clear and functioning normally. Thank you both so much!
Yup, that is the quick way out and I think it takes you back to 1.1.40.0, my wife has an identical phone to mine that was still working fine and she had 1.1.89.0, the one I believe I had when all went haywire was 1.1.95.2 which I am not sure where I picked it up (I think it installed with Twitter?)? I just tried loading the current one 1.2.07.1 and it hosed up my phone (Note 5) so, I would suggest staying away from anything over 1.1.89.0!
Had the same problem and disabling game optimizing service solved my problem! Thx OP and others for this thread and fix!!
OK, found the fix, but do I have to do it every day?
So, I had hoped that I would delete the updates and reinstall the last working version and be done!
Who knew I would have to do this at least once every day as they keep trying to push the newest version of the GameOptimizingService 1.2.07.1 out to my phone.
any way to stop this?
After waiting for a couple of months updating to A12 we have done this yesterday.
We received first a update to A12, later the C13 update.
Now I'm facing the current problems:
When rebooting the phone, the first 15 minutes everything works flawless, but after that:
Phone becomes laggy
Camera app stops working
Video's are not playing normally, green screen on video display, or even not loading/playing at all
In-app video's not playing normally
If we restart the phone, everything works well again for some random minutes, and then the problem comes back again.
I have tried to figure out which service/app could cause these problems but no luck so far.
Do you have any idea what could cause these problems?
Bummer cant help u but.......ive done update from oos11 to 12 last week and all working well.
Maybe do facory reset and start new over ?
Ive done dirty flash with ota and it works well.
Thanks all for the reply, excuse for my late response.
After one night not using the phone it works flawless again. I guess there were some update background processing issues.
Give it a day is my advice if someone runs into the same problem.
